"Well... it's slow... but it has tentacles, so it's probably durable, as it is obviously an eldritch abomination. I'm gonna regret this..." I say, as I approach closer to get a better look at it to see how tough it looks to take down. I keep an eye out on the anglerfish like creature as well. wonder if I can shock this thing? It is a land fish after all...

Kristina and Anima:
After a few more seconds of pursuit, the Angler fish like creature makes a lunge at the tentacled beast. The fish is much smaller, only about a half the size of the other creature, but it tackles with so much force that it takes the other creature to the ground. It's teeth sink into the other creature, causing it to moan in pain and writhe its appendages like the flagella they are. After a few seconds, the fish surprisingly unlatches itself and falls to the ground. It is twitching and gasping, apparently paralyzed in some way. The larger creature stands up and immediately begins eating the now paralyzed fish. While it does so, the creature simply stares at Anima.

I maintain my current distance, but continue to observe the creature.

Kristina and Anima:
The creature mainly looks at Anima while it continues eating. However, after it finishes, it begins walking towards Anima.
Yumi and Solomon:
By this time, the black creatures from before have finished eating and return back into the forest.

I slowly float backwards while trying to read it brainwaves. I didn't want to make any sudden moves in case it provokes it, but I still wanted to get a look at it.

You have a hard time deciphering its thoughts, but you continue to get a strong feeling that it wants to touch you in SOME way as the creature is still walking towards you.
Kristina:
Due to the creature's slow movements and large body, you have an easy time keeping your sights lined up with it.

Anima:
After a bit longer of you avoiding the creature's advances, it eventually stops and lets out a sort of moan as it lets its whole body droop, flagella and all. If it wasn't easily assumable from body language already, you can tell that the creature is saddened and definitely has no hostile, or sexual, intentions.
