Mit reached out with his free hand and grabbed her hand, using it to guide her closer. He hugged her to his shoulder, placing his cheek on the top of her head, "Sometimes I hate coming home..."

Violet closed her eyes and hugged him back. She curled into his side.

Mit didn't try to pull away, but let her stay there as long as she liked. Every now and then he would reach up to run his fingers over her hair, trying to be soothing,

violet felt better in Mit's arm than she had since she woke up, so she was determined to stay there for a while.

Once the door was open Conall used his foot to widen the opening. He carried Violet in, and set her down near Tora's head, then sat down next to her, placing his head on her shoulder.
