Actually, they almost built a library here, and because of its architecture it was called "The Blob" by everyone. I like the "Octopus" name more, but Blob got more popular. Anyway, the government went all crazy because of the divided popular opinion and the architect died, so The Blob will never be built in Prague. The Blob:

I want to see Sherlock Holmes as well. I'll get to Avatar probably this week. since I can get tickets if I go to a matinee on a weekday.
The next main one will be Alice in Wonderland in March.
And it is still snwayowing here. Enough to clear the walkways anyway

Too bad it didn't get made.

(grabs her bottle and walks to the hot tub) i'm not sure i could imagine working in a library like that, undefined. it would feel more like an art museum. not that that would be a bad thing.

Me, when i saw the picture of this library for the first time, i thought that its some newspaper joke! I couldnt believe it was serious. Thats what got me loving it so much...
I am still really disappointed that they wont build it here. I think it would be quite an attraction. Maybe they will build it someday, somewhere... and then i would travel to see it biggrin !
