Lune held Tezuka close before picking the boy up. "Close your eyes and brace yourself." He looked back briefly at teh two paramedics. "Sorry for getting you caught up in this mess." He then charged at the back doors. He tensed his body around Tezuka, protecting him as they hit the ground.
Shortly after jumping, the ambulance was blown up. Flames shot upwards while shrapnel flew everywhere. Lune made sure his back was to it all. It wasn't until a half hour later when things settled down.
{Tezuka is fine, so you know, in this scenario.}

Tezuka was shaking as he peered up at the sky. "Daddy..are we safe..is Alex safe?" Tezuka asked softly.

Lune nodded softly. "Yeah...Alex'll be fine. And you're safe, too." He smiled softly. He moved his arm, only to find that he'd broken it during the jump. He didn't say anything so that his son wouldn't freak out.

Lune sighed. "... ...Just wait, Tezuka...you should still see a doctor. Another ambulance'll come soon." He fell silent for a moment. "Tezuka...I'm going to tell you something important, okay?"

"I can't move...so I'm a pretty good target right now. Whoever is targeting us, will definitely show up." Lune took a breath. "The hospital isn't too far from here... You can make it. Once you do...call Alex...okay? Don't look at me like that, do it. Do it so you can live."

Tezuka nodded and hugged Lune, kissing his cheek. He then ran quickly to the hospital and used the nearest phone. He spoke hurriedly to Alex. He hung up and waited not sure what to do now. Alex quickly threw on shoes and ran as fast as he could to where Lune was. Thankfully another attacker didn't happen. "Whats going on?!

Lune managed to smile when Alex showed up. "Looks like...Akito's mission....has gotten us...involved..." He tried to flex his hand and couldn't. "Alex...how bad is it? I know I took a lot of damage to my back, but..." He trailed off, hoping Alex would understand.
{Remember when he shielded Tezuka? Shrapnel, glass, and hitting the ground at an insane speed... I think you get the idea...}

"you need to get to the hospital fast." Alex said as he looked at Lune's arm and back. "Are they still trying to attack us?"

"I see." Lune thought for a moment. He sighed. "I can't tell...my senses are dulling, from the loss of blood most likely... However, this crash has already drawn attention. They mostly don't want to be on camera." He groaned as he became dizzy. "Alex...stay with Tezuka. He won't be attending school anymore. Too dangerous. I can home-school him as I was. ...As soon as I get out the hospital..." He coughed.

Alex nodded,tears in his eyes. He piked Lune up and ran to the hospital. LUne was put in emergency surgery. Alex cried and held Tezuka's hand as they waited.

Lune had to have a blood transfusion to replace all the blood he lost. Once the opereation was done, they hooked Lune up to an ICU because of the extent of his wounds.
A doctor came out into the hallway. He looked around until he saw Alex and Tezuka. "You're the one's who came with Mr. Lune, correct?"
