Shane turned to Ronnel, and explained, "It isn't... necessarily. Kleine does not feel that anyone loves him except for his angel, though I doubt he does. He wants to impress his angel by spurting out arrogant lectures, and threatening all who disagree with him. However, in the end... that angel believes he is above all. He does not get impressed with Kleine, and then Kleine regrets acting such a way, fearing that he lost another potential friend. We've been to therapy before, actually. Kleine explained everything... but he hasn't changed. He's powerful... that is for certain.. but I want him to be happy. It's already hard enough, since he has an anguishing disease, and if he has no friends... it won't help." He did actually feel bad for his son, but he knew he couldn't help. Life for Kleine seemed almost... impossible.

He raised an eyebrow, "What's teme mean?" (I know it means b*****d... but Shane knows no Japanese... at all) He then sighed, and said, "I did not mean it as an insult. I easily use words like "filthy" all the time. He actually seems like a nice guy, so calm down. You must be used to him being called as such.." He whispered the last part, really only loudly enough for himself to understand.

  "Shane, you were more than an a*****e. Katsuro was a better man in his darker times than you when, you claim, to have been so influenced by the angel." Aki sneered, "And if you really wish to redeem yourself, then I suggest you hold your insults. Even if you 'easily use words like filthy all the time'" Her glare was fierce, the anger steadily growing inside. Shane had a lot of patching up to do if he really cared to improve his image.

In time I would have been his friend as well, but in your drive to control, you lost time in the battle for your son's happiness. And Katsuro was my Taichou, the first man to lead me into combat." Ronnel rested his hand on Aki's shoulder.
"Aki-sama, enough. This man doesn't understand human niceties the way the rest of us do. Angels, Demons...they destroy their bearer's mind unless care is taken. If he had no one around to encourage him to be stronger then the thing within him, it is no wonder he lost himself to it."

He facepalmed. He couldn't help it. He facepalmed. "It wasn't an insult, for I know he has changed. I just talked to him a few hours ago. Now, I apologize if it sounded like that, but it wasn't intentional. If you're going to crucify me for everything I say, because I made a few bad choices a while back, then why am I even here? I came to apologize, not dig my grave even deeper. If you're too much better than me to accept my apologies, then fine! I'm leaving!" He was actually rather pissed. He did not like this one bit. He did hate his former self, and he didn't want to be insulted for what was the past. So he stormed out of the room... though he stopped in the hallway. Maybe he would just get a fresh breath of air... he didn't want to just leave on this note.

Aki snapped as Shane stormed out, "HA! Oh do I wish I could just crucify you! Apologies? All I heard were excuses and maybe a small mention that you may actually feel something for what you did. But, undermining my trust, nearly killing me, taking my village, then insultingly appointing yourself to one of the most revered ranks a shinobi can hope to achieve cannot be covered by I know what I did was bad!" Even though he was out of the room Aki still yelled out. She breathed in deeply. "A few bad things. My a**." The woman hissed quietly.

Hysterical women were not something that Ronnel knew how to deal with extensively from personal experience. But he had seen something when he was working in the hospitals.
He stepped in front of Aki and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her head to his chest. He patted her hair for a time, letting her work her frustration out against his torso instead of shouting it out where the village could hear.
"Aki-sa-, no, Aki-chan. It's going to be alright. That man knows he did wrong, and even if he is crude, he wishes to make amends for his errors. His path is going to be a hard one even without our hatred staining his steps."

Was he... was Ronnel hugging her? Not only that but patting her head? She instantly fell silent, struggling to find any words. Aki simply stood there her arms hanging by her sides, though she did feel much calmer than just a few seconds ago. After a moment she pushed him away, "Thank... you Ronnel. You may be right, but... I can't trust him. Oh my head hurts." Aki gripped the edge of her desk and held her forehead with the other hand. She couldn't make sense of quite what she was feeling. Anger, confusion, distress.

He sat against the wall outside of the building, and held both palms against each side of his head. He sighed... as he stood back up, and began to stretch. He just needed to cool down a bit... he was alright... wasn't he? He was alright... So, he walked back in, and again seated himself in the same place as last time. "I'm sorry, okay? Are you happy? I'm sorry for lying, I'm sorry for attacking you, I'm sorry for conquering your village, and I'm sorry for appointing myself as Sannin. But you don't know the reason why I made myself Sannin, do you..? I did it because as a Sannin, I'd be able to get by freely. So that I'd be able to follow, and keep track of my son. I don't care for some damn rank. All I wanted was freedom. I never intended to cause so much harm. I don't know why I did it. If you still want to hate me, it's fine. Just know this: being your friend will not benefit me in any way, combatively. So don't you understand? The reason I came is because I wanted to apologize, and not for any other reason. Because I felt guilty. And maybe I am guilty. But there's nothing we can do about it now. It's the past. I really have nothing left to say, Aki. So I will take my leave. Good bye, miss. And I hope we can meet again... on lighter terms. I don't want to be treated with disdain... no one does.." And finally, this time for sure, he walked out.

Ronnel stared after the man for a long moment before shaking his head slowly. He then stepped behind Aki's chair and channeled the green healing chakra into his fingertips and began massaging her temples.
"I'm sorry Aki-sama." He had slipped back to his old reference when she had reacted with a headache. "I'm not too good at comfort. Normally my patients was a shinobi, my best friend, who was always nearly killing himself with insane training. He... the kind of comfort you need, that I barely know how to offer, he never needed. None of the shinobi did, and Suna was.. devoid of kunoichi."

"Fine" The whisper came in response to Shane as the door shut behind the man. He probably didn't here it. But Aki had grown tired of the situation, and this best way was to just accept it. Maybe he really was changed. The woman tried not to think about it as Ronnel attempted to easy her headache and comfort her. Though right now, talking was not something she wanted to do. Aki simply fell into silence.

Ronnel smiled and shook his head as he pulled his hands back and turned Aki's chair around so that she was facing him. He knelt down in front of her and placed his hand over hers, then placed her other hand on his shoulder.
"I told you Aki. You have someone by your side to help you shoulder your burdens. You need your rest more importantly than you think I need to share my past." He chuckled and shook his head before pulling her to her feet and guiding her to the cot that she had tried to get him to sleep on, and pushed her down gently onto it.
"I am speaking as your friend, your doctor, and your Sannin. Get some rest Aki-chan. You've earned it."
