The tournament was coming up soon...he had found out he was against reaper. This would pose a problem. Jay recallled the last time he fought reaper. It basically cost him the use of his body for a few hours. Now he started to train in the woods, wearing heavy plated armor over torso so he could manuver better when the time came to fight.
He sprinted through the wilderness, jumping and doging the branches that got in his path. He could've always ran through them, but making sure he was untouched was just another part of the training. Quickly he made his way to the waterfall, jumped on top of a rock in the center of the pool and hurdled himself up over the falls, only to be cought at the very top and be dragged down the falls to the bottom.
The weights posed a problem in the water, causing him to swim harder and faster towards the surface. His clothes now soaking wet, and his breathing increasing, he sighed and swam to the edge of the falls and sighed, saying "Better luck next time"

" What was that sound? " Ultima thought, it was low pitch to, too low for a bird, bear or human. And yet it came up in the end . . it was like a voice . . . one that was muffled and amplified by the earth he was suspended above.
He tried to find it again, he listened carefully but noithing happened. he fell back onto his feet from his hands and looked at the wilderness again.
Jay was training for the tournament, he was training hard. The tournament was soon and the wounds would be fierce. As Jay jumped into the water Ultima backed up on the cliff to get a great running start. His cape was on and he intended to use it, it was worth a try to glide down into the lake from this height.

Jay would lie on his back and then stare into the sky, seeing the biggest bird he'd ever seen fly over him...but wait. "That's...no bird" Jay said as he forced himself to stand up. Careful observation told that his assumption was correct. It was...ultima? "Hey! Ultima!" He said, giving a wave to him and then chuckled, saying "How's the weather up there?"

Ultima saw Jay wave at him as he descended downward into the lake body. the decline was fast and agile, he slipped into the water creating a huge splash as he sunk down and swam up again to the surface.
He was soaked ofcourse, as he swam over to the waters edge and layed down. He was in a diffrent world after that rush of speed and intensity, he started laughing at the idea he just jumped from a cliff and now he was here perfectly fine. he was estatic . . and he forgot about Jay . . who wouldn't.

As Felicia walked further and further into the wilderness, she became more and more aware. Feathers fluttered, birds whistled and creatures scurried amonst the grass and treetops. Each time, Felicia turned her head. The wilderness was great practise for her agility and awareness.
Gripping her staff in her hand, she held it out in front of her, and watched it for a while. Soon, her most precious weapon radiated a dim, white light, and soon, the day shone on what was now a sword. She loved that sword, because it was quick, slender, and most of all, light. It looked rather fragile, but through her toughest battles, she had never had a scratch delievered to it.
She began to practise.

Jay would give a frown, being hit by a surge of water from his incredible splash. Now sittng by the water bank, he would look to Ultima and give him a sharp punch in the shoulder, saying "Thanks a lot" Then he sighed and laid back, his pale skin being tingled by the bright sun on that day. "Heh...good splash'

biggrin "Why thanks Jay, it was intense!" sweatdrop
Ultima stood still dripping with water and shaked himself off, then bid adieu to A mister Jay with a nod of his head and walked into the woods after more then a good place to dry off.

Felicia made her training a little harder, sending thorns around her. It was all a form of target practise. Hitting small targets were sometimes difficult for the young woman, but she always tried her best. Spinning around, she brought her sword up and deflected a cascade of thorns, sending them over the waterfall that was nearby. However, she had to stop. As the sun shone onto her marevellous weapon, a bright reflection caused her to squint and look away.
"Argh!" she complained, and finally lowered her sword. Sighing, she brought her hand up and brushed her thick, wavy black hair from her face, and looked randomly towards the sky, feeling the breeze against her skin.

Heh..how ironic. THe very first battle she had here as a member of the Black Amber was against Jay Kimache. And here...they are..the two of them facing off once more. This time in a tournament she had set up. It had been a while now that she wanted to challenge Jay once more. The first time the two of them fought it was intense and the battle round up being a draw. Will it happen once more? Reaper smiled beneath that cool gray scarf of hers. Standing in a wide clearing in the wilderness. Man...how she wanted to fight Jay once more. It was great practice for her to fight against Jay. He was a worthy challenger. This time....she will become far more prepared. Her powers have grown greatly since their last match with one another. She had new tricks and more magic spells this time. She won't be easy to take down. She would be much harder. She assumed Jay would be as well though. Which made the thought of the two of them battling even more exciting. The two of them always pushed themselves to their limits. Refusing to give up when the two of them fight.

Jay felt reapers presence close by. He refused to draw with her again...and would accept nothing less than victory. Arising from the ground, his clothes dripping wet, he would jump to the giant boulder and try to leap over the waterfall, failing again as he sunk to the bottom again, only to struggle his way to the banks and try again.
The waterfall was like an opponent, and this was just another thing to overcome. With this heavy armor, he'd be faster and stronger than ever. By the fifth attempt he managed to scale the falls, his legs moving so fast that he was actually able to walk along the water. Unfortunetly he stumbled and fell, falling to the bottom once more in the eternal struggle to overcome any challenge.

After becoming accustomed to slicing tiny objects, Felicia let her weapon drop, and she sat on the floor. That was her practise for the next few minutes. Lifting up her sword once more, she studied the petal and thorn engravings which she loved so much, and examined the blade. It looked fine to her. Tilting the face at an angle, she saw her own reflection in it, and smiled, before running her finger along the blade.

Sakura sat on a rock, that layed by a creek. She seemed deep in though, about the tournament, whether she should transform into her sister, Feena and risk of never changing back...or she should just fight with her skills. Though, in though, her fingers ran through her long silky lavender hair as she stared at the water with her enchanting lavender eyes. "I wonder.." she said under her breath, her tone mixed with mystery and kindness. As the wind blew softly, she dipped her fett into the stream, feeling the tender wetness run through her feet, like pure snow. ~I wonder who i'll be facing..~ she thought, hoping for a rematch with Teresa.

Reaper had actually began practicing with magic without using her tarot cards. They took too long to activate and always left her open for an attack. But...she had found that not using the tarot cards gave her the chance to make her shadow magic even greater. SHe would have to have to practice in here. But....she did not want to risk the chance of destroying the stadium. Besides...Mother would understand with her actions. Taking in a breath she stepped back with her right foot. Both of her hands above her head reaching towards the heavans. Focusing on the shadow magic running through her blood. Focusing on everything that made her the person she was today. She turned those negative events and thoughts to anger and her power grew even great. Hands began to glow with a charcle color. It looked as if her hands were engulfed with see through fire. They bursted with even more energy. "...forgive me Mother..." She whispered. Opening her eyes they were a sudden blackness. "Aaaaaaaaaah!!" Leaning forward she put her strength into the power running through her hands. The open hands came towering down before her with speed. With the left hand pulling back the right one came straight down to the ground. It send a shockwave through the earth making the earth and trees shake. Then a bolt of shadow magic came tearing through the earth darting out of her hands. Throwing debre everywhere for a good thirty feet.

((me love tarot cards))
SHe felt a rumble, but took no notice. SHe was consentrating on her energy, she knew if she trained hard enough..she could be able to reach Feena's standards..no..she could reach higher than that. Her eyes were closed as a black aura circled around her. Though, her energy couldn't be felt by other presences. Her energy was somewhat special, her energy was qiuet..only those from the underworld or her kind of angel race could feel her energy. SHe was a lunakinesis Angel, a rare breed, they are thought to be extint but it seems they are not. "Focus..Focus" she said, having trouble, her long silky lavender hair was floating against gravity as her eyelids shook, wanting to unravel her kind soft lavender eyes.

Jay was about to give up...then he felt that burst of shadow magic. Arising, he gave the jump a final try. Quickly he dashed, his feet seemed to hover over the ground as he went up vertically on the water fall, walking along each bead of water until he reached the top and kept running, the water no longer a limitation for him as he quickly ran all the way down to the base of the mountain where the water leaked from the springs. He jumped to the side and sighed, a wide grin over his face.
His training for the day was complete.
