She smiled a little at Kege "So cute, not wanting us to be able to call you by name little one." She glanced at Kuroi and Cali and smiled a little more, she moved and sat down next to him and touched Cali's leg softly. "She is like a doll, she always has been. Take care of her, you break her I will break you." Her voice the serious sound of a mother.
Cali barely moved when her mother touched her, staying curled against Kuroi, completely content.

The entire while, Voro ust stood there watching the scene taking everything in. He paid extra close attention to the boy, Kege. "It appears you missed me." His fangs grew out and he melted away, only to reappear behind Kege from his shadow. "Im a combination of angel, shadow demon, and Vampire." His black lifeless eyes peering into the child's.

Maya swept Kege into her arms and frowned at Voro, she turned to Kege smiling, "You want to tell me your name?"

Kuroi smiled nervously, though his power could out match Lavender he was still deathly afraid of vampires without his Demonic Powers behind him.
"I will protect her with my life Lavender" he said sounding content that it would be no trouble.
Kuroi leaped into Maya's arms, he had not noticed Voro until he snuck up behind the child. He shivered in maya's arms and was not making a sound, he was even afraid to say his name now, "Please make the bad man go away" he whined.
Moonreaper smiled, he didn't really think much of Voro as a Demon Knight, but could see his sense of humor a little more now that he was closer to his level. He smugly walked over to Voro and placed a hand on his shoulder guiding him away from Maya and Kege, "Ok Voro... thats enough of that now we don't want to scare the child too much..." he said as he held out his fist to Voro, it was like his version of a handshake a gesture of a job well done though from an outward appearance he seemed as if he was just being nice to Kege.
Once Moonreaper had moved Voro away the child was more enthusiastic about sharing his name, "My name is Kege" he whispered.
(Kay-Gee just in case you can't read the pronunciation, I believe the english translation means "Unique")
Kuroi's ears twitched and he softly chuckled, Elvin ears were very good at hearing picking up sound, he thought it was a well suited name for such a child.

Voro smiled. and Returned the fist gesture to Moonreaper. "I was only introducing myself, but i guess so." He shrugged and chuckled lightly to himself as he walked around Moonreaper over to Edward. "I want to hold you." He said picking him up.

Maya smiled at Kege's enthusiasm, "That name suits you very well."
She couldn't help it, Kege was just so adorable, she planted a kiss on his cheek.

Voro was glad he distracted himself with Edward or he would have seen how much of the sappy affection radiated from the two on the ground. He almost began to twitch with angst. he hadnt killed anything in a while, that required him to use his power much.

Kege stopped for a moment, he then slowly laid his hand on his cheek where Maya kissed him, it took a moment for it to click in but as he realized what Maya had done he shyly smiled and blushed.
Kuroi laughed, "Aww... that is truly adorable, the child received such a rare gift" he said with a smile as he moved forward and laid a kiss on Cali's forehead imitating Maya to a certain degree.

Kege continued to blush shyly, he tried to speak but was not able to get a syllable out before making a little messed up face so he simple shook his head trying to say no.

Moonreaper moved closer, "You like him a lot don't you? Do you plan on keeping him as a cute little pet?" he asked in a sinister tone.
Kege looked at Moonreaper with a hard face and then spit at him. He really didn't appreciate the remark, especially when he was really starting to like Maya.
"Your not like that are you? Am I a pet to you?" he asked curiously.
Moonreaper wiped the spit from his face, "Insolent child... You are safe only by a whim... Do not disrespect me like that again!" he said before walking away.

"Kege!" Maya cried, "That wasn't very nice." She frowned at him but shook her head, "No. I don't think of you as a pet. Spirit is called my pet, but I consider him my friend."
She turned to look at Moonreaper, "Why can't you be a little nicer?"

She smiled at Kuroi, "No need to be so afraid Kuroi. Elf blood does not suit my tastes." She glanced at Voro and Moonreaper "Good to see you two are not trying to one up each other anymore." She sighed softly
Edward willingly went to Voro, smiling softly. He set a hand against his cheek "You haven't hunted in a while...why?" His small voice curious, completely ignoring Kege seemingly not interested in the child at all
Cali squeaked softly, and looked up at Kuroi a small blush on her cheek, then she looked away chewing on her nails a little. She moved and almost stood against him and kisses his cheek lightly before curling back up against him blushing more.

"It's because now the knights are gone. My goal is fulfilled to a certain extent though most died, it's sad to see it that way. But now I sort of see us as equals to joke with." He turned to Moonreaper. "Gods you have a bit more patience then I do. I would have back handed him right out of Maya's hands." He said this next sentece more towards Kege. "You better learn from this moment and be warned, because I won't be so gracious, no matter what you look like or how old you are." He then smiled at Edward. "I think i have lost the taste for hunting for a while. I have had my sights set on a more challenging prey but having this human child here is certainly looking more and more the prey. Perhaps if he has any abnormal behavior or ability he might show it." He said smiling. "Don't worry to much. I will go hunt should my wish not be fulfilled, but as a last resort only." he created a head ornament of Edward's choice from shadow for him to wear. "Just think it and it will take shape."
