Caleb flicked the switch from on to off, the chain stopped and he placed it onto the ground. He took out a scalpel and walked over to a nearby bookcase, taking an old book, titled The Fabric of the Human Body. He began to flip though the pages, keeping an eye on the cadaver.

Moé thought about the world overall. What if they were the only ones left? She shook this thought away as she wondered about Caleb's condition. "Sir... how has your body been doing?

Caleb cut a small part of skin off of the creature. He placed it onto a clean slide and under a microscope. For some odd reason, though the cell should have been dead, they were still quite alive. A force pushed Caleb to the ground, followed by crazed screaming. He tried to fend off the beast off of him, holding its shoulders to prevent it from getting any closer.

Moé heard the struggling, and, taking out one of her pistols, she shot it cleanly between the eyes, effectively killing the vital neural tissue. Moé blushed, and held out her hand to help Caleb up.

"...Thank you." Caleb said to his student, getting off of the ground. He looked to the body, he picked it back up and placed it onto the table again.

"I thought you were already proficient in that subject." Caleb replied. He continued to work, taking the blood out of the beaker and placing some of the blood on to a slip. He placed the slip underneath the microscope.
