Ahhhh! So that mage's name was Rei. Strange that I missed that before... This intel run was providing him with a lot of useful knowledge, but not the name that he was there for. If he could more precisely find where she'd set up her shop, then maybe he'd have a better chance.

Hahaha, and speak of the merchant... Well, at least finding out where her shop was might be a little easier now, since he could hopefully just track her movements through the windows. Or I could just go inside. The door is open after all... Then again, she said that she was missing some stock and I might get blamed for that. That and I did just break in.....
It soon occured to Matthew that his mission earlier had actually gone exactly the oposite of how he'd intended. He'd lost an item instead of gaining anything.
((I was just guessing at your class...))

"...Oh?" Well, she couldn't say she was disappointed. It meant she had one less favor she had to make up for somebody. It also meant she wouldn't have to worry as much about not at least breaking even when it came to the selling and buying of wares.
"O-of course..!" Shaking off her minor surprise, she quickly ushered to take the young lord's bag off his hands. It was a little difficult to support the heavy weaponry inside, especially considering that she was just your average woman... But demonstrating what was either some hidden strength, or pure strubbroness, she managed to handle the weight on her own.
Getting the side door to reopen while her hands were still full, however, was proving to be a bit of a chore in itself.

{Sue: I have arrived! XD Everyone else: You're late! >:[ Sue: ... you guys... don't love me!!! *sulks into Nomadic angst}
Sue had just rode in from the big fight to save Aidan, when she noticed someone very familiar. She couldn't believe her eyes, the nomad had to blink twice. "General... Roy? I thought you were on their side! Unless... are you their spy? Are you here to crush FEF's last hope of returning back to the way it was? If you are..." she drew her bow out on him. "Then have the courage to admit your faults! I won't be confused by your allegience anymore!"

*looks at Sue* Welcome back. I assume all went well to find Aidan. As for Roy, it seems like he has decided to join us.

The thief would probably have to wait until later to actually get a look at that map, even though he might not end up using what could be gained from viewing it. Deciding to focus somewhere else in his line of sight, he noticed that ??? seemed to be having a tiny bit of trouble handling herself with such a heavy load and was now blocked off by a sidedoor. ... Eh, I guess I could help her out for free this time. Matthew thought to himself, and quickly went to the other side of the door, hoping that it wasn't locked. Finding that it wasn't, he opened it to where it appeared to be closed, but would open if she pushed it; quickly retreating a few panels away and into the darkness again afterward.

Bump, bump... Fwaomph!
"Augh, finally..." By some divine (or not so divine) intervention, the door she had been struggling with finally swung open. Perhaps a little too harshly, even, considering it had smacked against the side of the building.
Roy's bag (Honestly, she'd have to take a peek at what was inside, the weight was ridiculous!) was dragged to her caravan that was stationed nearby, then unceremoniously tossed into the back. The old wagon rocked a little at the disturbance.
The vendor woman was about to pull herself up into the wagon, but stopped short of a single step.
"-Ouch! What did I..?" Apparently having stepped on something, she lifted her foot to make sure she wasn't actually hurt. Her foot was fine, but what was it that she had stepped on? Squinting in the dark, she knelt down to get a better look at the ground.
"Hmn..?" Reaching down, she retrieved the lockpick Matthew had lost when he had jumped out the window some time ago. "...Looks used..." She mumbled to herself, before shrugging it off and tucking the tool away into her dress.
She then pulled herself up into the wagon, sending it squeaking and rocking again.

Ahh, selfless good deeds always had that special way of making you feel all nice and warm inside, didn't they? Cripes! If I hadn't moved when I did, that door would've killed me! Being able to lug that much equipment around... Is she really just a shopkeeper? Well, they usually do if you're not a thief, I guess. After ??? left, Matthew noticed that she'd left the door open and decided to fix that for her. She probably forgot to shut it, being preoccupied with a heavy load and hurting herself on something. He'd long since stopped caring about where he'd dropped his lock pick, since he was pretty sure that he hadn't left it in the house and settled that it came loose somewhere in the woods instead; possibly when he was re-equiping his cloak.
It wasn't a big deal though, he'd just go buy a new one tomorrow.

Sue turned her head to nometal, not lowering her weapon. "How can we trust him? He's been against us the whole time! He probably had a hand in Nino's torture!"

Ninian clenched her hands together. She so wanted to believe that her son had only good intentions, and yet she couldn't shake the feeling that he would betray them and return to the enemy's side. But maybe that feeling was an after-effect of the despair she'd felt while lost and alone for the past few days. And yet. . . .
"Roy, why do you wish to join us, after all this time, after everything that's happened?" she asked him.
