As quickly as the energy had come it was depleted. Urza stumbled on a crack and fell, landing on the ground with a thud. She lay there, almost unable to move. Her body ached so much, and she wanted nothing more than to claw her way into the shade. Her mouth now felt like sand, and each swallow burned her throat. But she wasn't done... Urza clawed her way forwards, the steel of her armor screeching against the ground. She had to have something left in her... Gingerly Urza pushed herself to her feet. Her breathing had become heavy and she felt every drop of sweat like a lead ball weighing her down. She couldn't give up now... Just one more lap... Urza trodded forwards... Just one more lap.

It took every ounce of Urza's power, but she got herself running again. One more fall like that however, and she would be out for a long time. Maybe it was stupid for her to be running so dehydrated, and so worn down. But something in her kept pushing and pushing. She would go to the edge and back if she had to. Besides after this lap she would be half way done... She had been in the village for such a short time, and yet already, she had progressed so much. She may not know the people, and she may not even like the people. But the village.... The village is beautiful. Urza shut her eyes as she ran. She focused on what her body felt like as it moved. It felt so old, and unfamiliar. Yet at the same time, it felt so new, and so refreshed. If training was going to be like this every day, Urza couldn't wait for class. With God as her guide, and strength as her weapon, Urza was now more sure than ever that she would make a lasting impression on the village, and the world as a whole.

Urza kept her legs moving with all of her might. It seemed like at any moment her entire body would collapse under the weight of her armor. Every time her foot hit the ground the breast plate jumped, the paldrons shook, the sabaton clattered. Her armor was so out of sync with her body that every step seemed to be burden with the force of 10. But Urza was aware that mobility was her weakest asset. Perhaps that was why she was fighting so fiercely not to give up. She wanted to prove to herself that she would not be weak. That she could overcome anything. For how was she to be a shield if she was easily broken. A shield had to know that when push came to shove, it would hold strong and protect the soldier. Her body was shoving to quit. But she was being a shield, she was refusing to let someone else win.

Urza prayed to her God once more. She prayed for the strength to finish this without end. As Urza finished her prayer she felt a power surge from deep within her body. As if someone had kicked her soul into overdrive and was now powering the rest of her body using a power that had been previously untapped. Her legs led her forwards with leaps and bounds. Her feet moved quickly speeding Urza along through one lap, and quick followed with another! Urza was so close to finishing she could almost taste the finish line. With her new found energy Urza hurried herself along. The God of Earth was smiling on Urza today. With her faith renewed and her power at an all time high Urza continued to run. Her breath was heavier than ever, but her heart was as light as a dandillion on the wind.

As Urza rounded the corner of her third to last lap she came to a stop. Even with her spirits as high as they were, her body would no longer carry her. So slowly she made her way back to the dojo to fetch her water. She had come so close to finishing without rest, but her body couldn't take the strain any more, not even with being blessed as she was. She tried to keep her legs moving so that when she went to finish her last two laps she wouldn't cramp. But soon gave up on that endeavor and just lay against a tree listening to the sounds of nature. Her breath was still labored but even that didn't seem to disrupt the air of calm that surrounded this village.

Urza rested her body against the tree. The steel plates digging into the bark as Urza put almost all of her weight into the act of relaxing. She held none of her own weight and let the earth keep her up. She had exhausted so much energy just trying to push herself to the edge. Thank God that she had stopped when she had. Any more running and she would have surely been laying on the ground passed out. Gingerly Urza raised the pouch of water to her mouth. Tilting it back she felt the cool release as it moistened her mouth and brought with it memories of arctic winters. Urza wiped her mouth with the bit of cloth showing between her paldron and the crook in her elbow where the paldron continued.
The young knight looked at her armor. Even with all of her spills and tumbles the steel remained sparkling in the sun, not a dent or flaw to be seen. The was the power of her fathers crafting... No, not just her father... The entire Knight clan. Urza took another swig of water thinking back to her homeland. Great stone buildings dotted the land. Great fields of grain were harvested by her skilled farmers, horses waited in stables to be ridden into the market, or out to war. People lived in small rock homes with straw tops, and the only time the land wasn't beautiful was when it was raining... Oh how Urza disliked the rain. It made the land look muddy and sad. But even the rain could be beautiful in her homeland. When it ran down the stone and looked like little waterfalls. Or when it pinged of a Knights armor.
All this reminiscing of home left Urza feeling sick. Everything about this new land just felt wrong. There were no horses, no hero's in shinning armor, no music bursting from the local pubs. Urza capped the water pouch before placing it on the ground. Slowly she made her way to her feet twisting her back and rolling her shoulder to stretch a bit. She was beginning to feel a bit better, thought still not in top top shape. Her mouth no longer tasted like sand and the cramp in her side had vanished. With a small sigh Urza made her way back to the track, she would walk around the track once more to build up a little more energy, and than, with God's help, she would find herself done with this exercise.
Urza was feeling much better compared to just moments before, at least half of her strength had been returned. With a hop and a skip Urza started to trot. She didn't want to start breaking into a full sprint because it would cause to much ware on her already worn down muscles. If however, she picked up the speed gradually, Urza figured she could at least save some energy, and if nothing else have tried out a new technique. Whether it was successful or not, Urza had no idea, but it was still worth doing if nothing else but for the experience of trying something new.

As Urza picked up the pace she noticed in inherit flaw in her plan. That flaw came as a sharp pain in the side. Its seemed her cramps were not going, and had indeed just subsided as she was not moving. But she could feel it there like a knife being driven into her side, and it did not take long for Urza to stop and catch her breath. Urza stretch a bit hopping that she could release the pain in her side., but it was costing her time. Urza shielded her eyes as she looked in the direction of the sun. It was already later in the morning that it usually was when Urza began training at home, class was bound to be starting soon. Urza crossed her arms again in prayer and lowered her head to the ground. It would take a miracle to finish this in time, and that was exactly what she was praying for.

Again she asked, and once more she received. The warmth of her spirit lifted her ailments and again she was filled with the will to succeed. She didn't have time to be wasting though. Her blessing seemed to be short lived, and she did not wish to anger her God for wasting a blessing. So digging her feet into the ground Urza once more took of with great speed around the track. She was nimble as she avoided cracks and holes, any obstacle that may have gotten in the way of Urza completing her task. With the force of an oxe Urza came barreling through her lap. One more and she could start heading over to the academy. But she would not give up, and she would not give in. This task would be finished, and it would be finished now.

Urza's speed and power would not let down. She moved like a stampede demolishing any that stood in her way. She was fast as she was strong, and she could tell that this exercise was well worth the trouble. She felt faster and more agile. Her armor no longer seemed like it was weighing her down, and indeed it flowed with her body as if it were not even there. Blessed be the power of the earth! Urza laughed as she finished her last lap slowing down to a stop. She put her hands on her head to try and control her breathing, but she was so excited that she had not only formulated an training regime, but had also fulfilled most of what she had planned, time permitting. Feeling like a true champion Urza walked to the dojo, picked up her water, and headed out to the academy. She felt more confident than ever that she would soon be making a name for herself in this land.

-Enter from Academy-
School had been let out early and the day was lovely. Urza looked out across the training grounds. She thought about how much progress she had made just in this last day. She felt fit as an ox, and more importantly she had made new friends. She looked at the two books in her hand, curious to what sort of new lesson they may contain. They looked much more complex than the scroll with the hand seals, which worried Urza a bit. That and the fact that Yuzuki had warned against trying anything that they couldn't handle. Urza lowered herself to her knees, placing the book beside her. She closed her eye and bowed her head as she began to pray. She was going to need God on her side if she was going to make it through this day.❦━━━━━━━━━❧ Lvl. 2 Hp: 20/20 MHp: 18/18 Cp: 6/6 ❧━━━━━━━━━❦

Miyako Chōzō T╔═.1.══════╗ TAIHp: 9/9 TAICp: 4/4 TAMHp: 8/8 Dodge Bonus: -3 T╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako stepped into the training grounds. It truly was a beautiful dojo, and relaxing to train in. Yes, she would learn everything she needed to know... She looked around and found her other companion, kneeling on the ground. She is such an odd person... Whatever she was doing was kind of creeping her out, so Miyako just simply walked near her and dropped her book on the ground. She set her ramen off to the side, in the sun to keep it warm. She would probably eat the rest later when she was tired of doing whatever it was they were going to do. "What are you doing?" she asked curiously. She always seemed to be doing it, though it didn't bother her, it was just... strange.

Urza opened her eyes and stood up, "Waiting for you." Urza turned to face Miyako one hand resting on her hip. She let the light of the sun warm her body and the wind cool her face. It was perfect weather for training. "Hm, I'm surprised you beat Alucard here." Urza said looking around, they had both left after him. But he was rather hungry when he took off, perhaps he was busy eating still. No matter, she and Miyako would help him catch up the second her returned. "So, what should we start with?" Urza adjusted a bit of her armor, making sure it was fastened correctly just in case Miyako wanted to do any physical training.❦━━━━━━━━━❧ Lvl. 2 Hp: 20/20 MHp: 18/18 Cp: 6/6 ❧━━━━━━━━━❦

Miyako Chōzō T╔═.1.══════╗ TAIHp: 9/9 TAICp: 4/4 TAMHp: 8/8 Dodge Bonus: -3 T╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako laughed in her mind, Clever answer. "Yeah well... I'm not much of an eater. I think he was starving." Well I wouldn't mind some physical training after sitting in a desk for that long reading about making shapes with our hands." She stretched out her arms and pulled her hair back out of her face. "I know you had done some running before, but I actually wouldn't mind doing some now. My step could use a little quickening." The girl looked like she was about ready to do anything, as she fixed her armor. How in the world can she wear that all day? My goodness, I'd be dead tired tomorrow...

Urza nodded. She didn't eat much herself, and when she did she was usually the first one done. "I wouldn't mind a little run myself, if you don't mind some company that is." Urza smiled as she finished making the last touches. She stretched her back and legs as she readied herself to warm up. Miyako's goal may have been to quicken her step, Urza's goal was to just not stop. She wanted to work on her ability to control her breathing and body under strenuous situations, and what better way to do that than to push her body to the limit whilst running. "Have you taken a look at whats in the book yet?" Urza asked. She was a little too frightened to do it, as she was worried about what she would find.❦━━━━━━━━━❧ Lvl. 2 Hp: 20/20 MHp: 18/18 Cp: 6/6 ❧━━━━━━━━━❦
