"Mm...that is so tragic," Jerry shook his head and patted Franzie on the arm when she was finished with her story.
He didn't like to hear about or think about such things, despite being around it all the time since he worked for the Order. He noticed more than some, as he was one of the few people to see every single Exorcist, Finder, Scientist, miscellaneous member, and even the janitors come and go; As the cook, he had to feed everyone, so he easily noticed when people never returned. Normally he went about his business and ignored it, but he never forgot a single person that ever walked through the doors of the kitchen.

Kiah heaved a huge sigh and opened the door for a second time, shuffling over to the group and coming to a stop at the edge of their circle, trying to keep her foul mood in check. "Hello..." She'd caught most of Franzie's story and saw how difficult it was to talk about, knowing how she felt but wondering why she would reveal it so easily.
Keeping quiet, as she wasn't sure exactly what to say to the girl, Kiah moved a bit further away from the group, frowning at the somber atmosphere and trying not to have her mood dampened even more than it already was. She quietly started to rifle through the cupboards, afraid that her stomach would grumble at an inappropriate time. Kiah paused a bit at Sil's words, letting out a soft snort of disbelief before resuming what she was doing.

A small noise escaped from Franzie's throat. She coughed into her hand as she tried to cover up her sob, then quickly smiled again.
"You're right. Although they're not a very pleasant sight, my scars remind me everyday of why I joined the Soul Officers in the first place." She rolled up the left sleeve of her red trench coat, revealing several deep bite marks on her arms. "The worst scars, however, I keep hidden from the general public. They're not something one would want to show off to other people. I also have a large chunk of my thigh bitten off. It doesn't give me any mobility problems when I'm walking, but I can't really run that much anymore."
"I'm not the only one with scars. Don't tell her I said this, but Mizaka has a large one right across her chest from when she was five. She doesn't like talking about it, and I'm sure she'll kill me if I told you about her past without her consent..."

((OOP I've gotta go for a little bit to get laundry done/shower >A<;;; you guys can keep going. I'm just gonna have Sil step out for a bit.))
Sil grimaced, her heart sinking into her stomach at the little. Even if the girl tried to cover it up, it was hard to mistake crying for anything other than what it was. The horror stories around this place were thick as oil and hearing that friends of the Order were suffering just as badly in other ways, and there was nothing they could do to help them either. Her stomach churned with a sick feeling, and she stood up rather suddenly needing to alleviate some of the pressure bearing down on her.
"I'll be back in a minute, just going to step outside," she said carefully, already fishing her hands through her sweater pocket to find her cigarette case. Once her fingers found the familiar warm metal she sought, she headed for the back door of the kitchen to have a smoke.

Franzie bid her a small farewell as Sil left the room. There was no mistaking her movements; the young woman was obviously slightly troubled by Franzie's story. Franzie looked over at Kiah's direction.
"What are you doing over there? Come; join us." She then turned to Jerry and looked over at the dirty plates on the table. "Would you like some help with that?"

"Oh no, sugar. I can take care of these all by myself, don't you worry~" he got up from the table and started collecting the dishes. He carried them to a smaller room off the kitchen, where the sink and the industrial dishwasher were. He set about cleaning the dishes, humming to himself.

"Oh, uh... I'm just looking for a little something to eat..." Kiah frowned a bit into the cupboards before sighing and standing up, grabbing an apple from the assortment of foods. "Sorry, but I've still got some work to do," she lied, already on her way out the door. "I'll see you guys later..."

Franzie took one last look a the empty kitchen before she got up and made her way out through the door. After having her dinner, she realized just how tired she really was. With a yawn, she walked back to her room, eager to get a good-night's rest.

He ambled inside in his usual fashion, shuffling toward his cabinet and pouring himself a mixed drink. He thought he could hear voices, but he decided he'd just sit and enjoy the semi-quiet.

Liv was still in her hammock, and when she heard the light commotion below her, she peeked over the edge. Seeing Domo, her heart jumped at the sight of someone familiar. She remembered their last interaction, but figured it had been long enough since then, she could be around him without it being awkward.
"Domo!" she dropped down from the rafters.

He ran a hand through his lightly frosted hair and shook the water off it.
"Well hey there, It's been a while. What's up?"
He took a sip of his drink with a small grin and a raised eyebrow

"Eheh...what's up...there really is a long answer to that, you know? Really...really long," she laughed a little and shook her head, but felt at ease because she knew that he wouldn't react badly to what she had to tell him. He was probably one of the few that wouldn't react in a bad way, in fact.

He chuckled and took another drink of his drink, moving his hand holding the cup gently to mix it around a little.
"And you're more than welcome to a drink yourself, if you'd like!"

"Oh...no, I don't think I should. The last thing I need is to be in a drunken, out of control stupor," she laughed, but thought that she really would love to be oblivious to the world for a while.
With a long sigh, she started to tell the extremely short version of her tale, "Well...about a month ago now, the Noah started attacking the Order. And I had to go back to the Mansion, and I couldn't be here during the war. Many, many things happened...details..."
She struggled with the next part, despite that she felt Domo would react okay. It was still a hard thing for her to tell, but she decided to grin and bear it, "I'm.....I'm a Noah now..." she said quietly, and remained silent to await his reaction. She looked at the floor as she waited.
