Anyone good with computers? I'm trying to figure out a way to scan the CD I saved stuff from my last computer to see if there are any viruses on it but it's not coming up with any options for me to do that. I don't want to save the stuff on this computer if there's a virus. emo

A B A B Skizzors Oh? I've never seen it used to mean anything other than "prissy, stuck-up, condescending b***h." How do you mean? -C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
Oh? I could name a couple of "elitists" in this guild that doesn't match that "personality". And also, if you knew was "prissy" meant, it wouldn't belong in that category. lol, if you've never seen any other definition of it then it's about time you "explore" outside Gaiaonline.
And btw, "ganguro lolita", lolwut.
-...quand le soleil sera couché dans ton âme froide.- IAWTC.
Lolita =/= sugarcoating princesses that do cross-stitch all day. Lolita = normal people in frillier clothing. I can ******** be as bitchy as I please in lolita, but that doesn't make me an elitist.
Also, ganguro lolita? D: It raepz my mind. Decora Lolita I can work with, ganguro? No thanks. -C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
The closest thing to "ganguro lolita" is Romanba, where it's basically a manba (I usually see the really dark ones) wearing princess-like clothing and sometimes Lolita. Except it's not Lolita, just another one of the Gyaru themes/sub-styles.
-...quand le soleil sera couché dans ton âme froide.- The two subcultures don't really mesh well, imo, but I guess if you can work it, you can work it.
Then again, I haven't done much research on the Gyaru or Manba styles. I should really look into them more.... this is why I don't like hanging out in lolita communities much. You try to be open to things (like ganguro lolita.. it would be awesome) -- and then they attack you like HOW DARE YOU CROSS THAT WHICH IS LOLITA! even though they try to shove Novala Takemoto's ******** essays in your face about how there is no definition of lolita, it's a personal fashion, blahblahblah and then obviously if you think "elitist" is synonymous with "bitchy" is synonymous with "mean" it means you ONLY POST ON GAIA. Which like shut the ******** up! Elitist is never a good thing! I heard you say it isn't always bad and I bloody well asked what you meant don't get on my a** that I'm retarded and unworldy for not grasping the tiny details of your made-up language bullshit! tl;dr: GRR. domokun

Ashram McDuck Streamjumper Ash, when you lock your door, please use the chain lock. I want the Japanese police to declare yours death the most gruesome sealed-room suicide ever seen. I'll see you later. You'll know I'm there when you start screaming. You know you can't kill me. Not until I finish that Yoko figurine in anycase. Or perhaps I could entice you with a Vita figurine. A Fate-chan, perhaps? You seem reluctant, Ash. Don't you want the distinction that can only be granted by being the only suicide ever to involve quartering yourself and artistically displaying each piece in a different room? Because I've learned from years of watching various detective anime that any time the door to a murder scene is locked from the inside, it is automatically declared a suicide unless some legendary detective is present. But I'll give you time to finish the Yoko figure... the way I see it is that it'll provide an interesting "clue" if you had clearly just finished it. One of the things I'll be looking for at AB is some of the StrikerS kits... I love the look of Fate wearing her Enforcer Barrier-jacket. And I'm aiming to get figures of the younger Stars and Strikers... especially Subaru and Erio (strong evidence that gar can exist in the shota stage). And I'mma getting a small Zaku kit, having realized that I don't have any such thing... and I need to pave the way for a Tieren.

I love the fashion so I try to hang around and be friendly in the groups sometimes, but the blatant hypocracy and errant bitchiness piss me off no end. I need to figure out how to work my scanner, and finish my drawing of the gasmask loli..

I want to get everything from it onto this computer but I don't know if there are viruses anywhere so I can't! I haven't that Haruhi game saved on there too and I want to play it and I've got all my pictures and just...STUFF. gonk There's no way to scan the CD for viruses though and it's upsetting because I don't want to save all that stuff on this computer and then end up having to restore the computer because of a virus or something. emo

But I'll give you time to finish the Yoko figure... the way I see it is that it'll provide an interesting "clue" if you had clearly just finished it. It is not so much reluctance but regret that I will no longer be able to aid He Who Feasts Endlessly in his endeavors around the Eastern countries. I simply had to indulge in Walking to the Dinosaur while I gleefully added paint to my delicious pretties. He Who Secretly Rules China has a few strange quirks, to be sure. Quote: One of the things I'll be looking for at AB is some of the StrikerS kits... I love the look of Fate wearing her Enforcer Barrier-jacket. There are some new Nanoha figurines coming out this season (a look through the 31st issue of Replicant shall give a glimpse of some of them) and my passed accross a delicious (but much too expensive) duo of Fate-chan kits as well as a Reinforce kit that would probably be alongside my Vita (resently acquired) if not for its ridiculous overpriced price. (more than double the standard confused )

Oh yeah... I've been thinking about the short and simple cosplay I want to do for AB this year and came up with one solution...
I'm getting a white pair of pants, a white long-sleeved shirt, and some thick black duct tape... and going as a Kingdom of Loathing avatar. I'll make the mask with a headband and some foamcore board, a sword with a few layers of foamcore laminated together with a few dowels for strength and black marker for the lines, and I'm trying to decide what familiar to make.
There's a ton of great familiars I'd love to make, but most are too complicated to even contemplate, like the Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot, Ghost Pickle on a Stick, MagiMechTech MicroMechaMech, Origami Towel Crane, Spooky Pirate Skeleton, Teddy Borg, and tons of others.
The most doable ones I see are the:
Blood Faced Volleyball - I can either do it with a stuffed volleyball and some paint, a whiffleball and red paint, or one of many other similar ideas.
Sabretooth Lime - Either use a real lime or snag a plastic lime from the fake food isles of the local toy store and make some plastic teeth to toss on. In a pinch I could just look for a green foam football and go to town.
Clockwork Graprfruit - Similar to the lime but with a yellow plastic or foam ball and a clockwork-looking key.
Baby Gravy Fairy - If I could find some kind of cheesy plush mushroom, I could glue some googly eyes to it and voila!
Fuzzy Dice - Doable, but a bit in the way of weaksauce, both a familiar and as a cosplay item.
Hovering Sombrero - If I could find a small sombrero at one of the dollar stores or the Christmas Tree Shops, I could put it on a wire running to part of my outfit so it could "hover" by my shoulder.
Howling Balloon Monkey - Granted, I'd need to bone up on my balloon animal skills and carry a bag of long balloons in my pocket, but Furious George could be a reality.
Killer Bee - Similar in execution to the Hovering Sombrero, but it'd involve me cutting out a foam lowercase "a" and putting it on the wire. Yes, I said "a"... its a Nethack reference. If you never played it, you wouldn't get it.
Stab-Bat - I could probably pull this off in a similar manner to the Sombrero, but carving a small foam sword with bat wings would be difficult as all ********... though it would get a lot of recognition from other KoLers.
Star Starfish - Similar to the Sombrero, but probably the easiest... thin dowels for the lines and simple white foam balls for the stars.

So. Slight chance I may be able to go to AX this year... I'm applying for an REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) at Harvey Mudd. If I get in, I could potentially be *at AX for at least a day. No guarantees, but. There's a small chance. whee
