Kiah walked into the Common Room with a book in hand and streched in satisfaction, happy that she'd gotten all of her work done. After a good night's sleep she'd managed to banished her headache, though her bruises were still a bit sore. She'd avoided the office for most of the day, and opted to work in her room instead, still a bit wary of getting hurt. Kiah gently took a seat on the couch, tucking herself into the corner between the arm and the back of it while curling her legs up underneath her, making sure she was as snug as possible. She then opened up her book and proceeded to lose herself in it for the moment.

(( Le gasp. I see a Kiah. emotion_kirakira ))
Liv had taken up her usual spot in the rafters, where her hammock still hung. When she heard someone enter, she quietly peeked over the edge. Upon seeing Kiah, her stomach jumped. The last time they had seen each other had been on bad terms. She wondered how Kiah would react to seeing her again...

(( Hey John! ))
Partway into her book, Kiah had the strange feeling that someone was watching her. She shifted in her seat nervously, knowing that it seemed ridiculous but still not feeling comfortable staying in one spot. Heaving a sigh and throwing her book on the table, Kiah subtly threw a glance around the room before standing up slowly and walking over to the window. She rested her elbows on the sill and put her chin in her hands, simply staring outside at the snowy landscape and thinking.

Liv continued to watch Kiah for a while, sighing quietly herself. Finally plucking up her courage, she slipped from her hammock, dropping down from the rafters lightly. She fidgeted with her hands as she approached Kiah, but still kept her distance. With a slight clearing of her throat, she made her presence known, "Ahem.....Hey Kiah..."

Kiah was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice Liv come up behind her until she spoke. She froze a bit as she recognized the person speaking and quickly masked her surprise with a stoic expression, slowly straightening up and turning around. She was secretly glad that Liv was back and looked fine, but she was still angry at the girl for running away after taking her files, probably handing them over to that strange jerk who took them in the first place, and taking the blame for the fire in the file room when she knew for a fact who really caused it.
"Well, well, look who's back..." Kiah leaned against the wall and crossed her arms, looking at the girl with indifference. "Did you finish your mission, or did the Earl let you off the hook when you brought him more of our files?" She tilted her head a bit in honest curiosity, giving the girl a chance to explain herself, but also not wavering in her cold stare.

Liv sighed again. Kiah had every right to be angry with her, she knew that. She couldn't expect Kiah to be happy to see her in the least, so she just calmly explained what she could, "I didn't give him the files...I still have them- well, they're back ho-...back at the Mansion...I intend to bring them back."

Kiah raised an eyebrow at her explanation, not quite ready to believe it until she saw them for herself. She narrowed her eyes at the pauses in Liv's sentence, wondering why she was acting so suspicious, though she didn't comment on it. "I should hope so... Have you seen the others yet?" Kiah abruptly changed the subject, knowing that Sil and Lavi in particular had been missing the girl. She hadn't had the heart to tell them about their previous meeting, and was too angry to do so at the time.

"I've only seen Lavi," she replied. She stood there fidgeting still, not sure what to say.

(( Distraction, distraction, distraction, distraction, distraction!!! ))
Kiah glared at her and shook her head, a bit disappointed at the answer. "You haven't even seen Sil yet...?" Out of everyone in the Order, she thought Liv would have at least gone to Sil first, since they seemed to be close. Then again she thought bitterly I guess I really don't know what's happened between everyone here...
