Wow.
It took Viper like 4 days to post, and he STILL got it wrong.
Even after he asked TWICE and Vahn answered TWICE, he still based his entire post off of something that just isn't going to happen.

Imperfect-Chaos Ye be talking about the stealing back of heat? Generally, yes. If one person pulls, and the other pulls back, it's a tug-of-war, not a default win for the second person. Maybe he can pull in all the stuff that he put out, but that just means that Vahn has more time to pull in all the ambient heat from around them anyways. And what the hell's all this s**t about 'fishhooks tearing'? He stated like eight times, both in the posts and in the OOC when Viper asked, that there was no absorbtion of heat involved, it's just being balled up externally. And yet, Viper still doesn't get his short post right on that, after taking 4 days to even get a post... My brain hurts.

Jello, the fact that Vahn is a good friend of yours is becoming problematic here isn't it?
I don't care how it works, I'm basing it on what I saw. And its not a tug-of-war, I warned him several posts back that something was wrong with it.
Even if its just on the outside, Viper's taking it back anyway. Vahn's free to try to grab it, but it won't work because its not there for him to take.

No, the fact that you asked the same question three times and got the same answer three times is problematic. As for the 'tug of war', yes, yes it would be. Viper can have back all his tainted heat, there's no question about that. But as for all of the natural ambient heat in the arena, you two are going to have to fight over it instead of you just assuming that you win like your post says. More or less what you've done so far is to put out heat, then take it back in. If you re-absorb it, then you've accomplished nothing really. If you try to ball it up for an attack, it's the equivalent of someone just conjuring a fireball or whatnot in their hand since all you did was put it out and then concentrate it.

I was wondering what taking back heat you gave off was suppsoed to accomplish.
By the way Jello, about Eldin Legacy vs Cole Eastcott. Cole and I only get to exchange like 1 PM a day but our conversation should be over soon. I'm just saying 'cause I put that discussion notice post up in there a few days ago and I don't think either of us want it locked or anything while we're talking. I thought it might be best to mention something.

You asked a few times whether or not Vahn was taking in the heat, and he said "no, I'm just pulling it in around my hand" or something along those lines. What I referred to above was this paragraph of your post and the multiple references to "I rip my energy out of your body in a very painful way", when it should be more along the lines of "I steal your popsicle when you're not looking". Jans Viper Frost covers the ground, spectators freeze to their seats, and in the center of it all Viper stands entirely unworried. His long ash-white hair whips in a wind that no-one else can feel, and his eyes have changed like embers stoked to left, a dull red flecked with brilliant specks of fire. This is the one where the tug-of-war should come in. Vahn started pulling in heat before you did, yet in this post you outright state "despite what he's doing, I draw in all the heat from the entire arena, and Vahn gets jack s**t". No matter who is involved, when you have to people of the same type of powerset trying to do the same thing, you're going to have the standardized "my power overpowers your power" fight... which, given the fact that unless there is good reason given, as a judge I tend to grade fighters on even levels of power especially in regards to their specialty... well... "Yes, I fully realize that your character's main power is to piss into the wind. However, my enis is bigger, I piss harder, and mine goes a further distance."

Yeah, Viper is Cole too, isn't he?
Anyways, yeah. I think Eldin's gonna have his ghost-powered behind handed to him if I misunderstood something. On the other hand if Cole misunderstood we coudl have an actual fight. Something entertaining. Still possibly ending with me getting schooled but better than *Snap* "I win". lol
