The weekend was...well, let me blab. XD I had fun but I also spent half the time utterly frustrated. When we got home Friday evening we found that an SUV had hit an electrical box of some sort near our house. The box was five feet square and looked rather heavy but the SUV had rammed it right off its concrete base and flung it a few feet away. o_O; We had to pack for our Tahoe trip by candlelight and I had to spend half the night fanning the baby so that he could sleep. (Median temperature range for my city is 90-110 in the summer.)
The trip to Tahoe was lovely in and of itself, but little things intruded. Hubby's family was late getting ready, and Hubby was stressed out the entire drive up because he was afraid we might miss our boat rental reservation. Jonathan luuuuurves water and cars, so we had hoped he might like boating as well. You know how some victims will retreat into a comatose state in order to escape the horror of a rape or some other such traumatic experience? Yeah. My poor son. He clung to my mother like a baby koala, buried his face into her shirt, and squeezed his eyes shut and fell asleep after about twenty minutes of this denial-in-action.
The trip was spent in making sure everyone else was comfortable and fed and enjoying themselves. It was exhausting. @_@ *thinks it over* I don't regret going because Hubby had fun and he needed a vacation. I only enjoyed about one hour of it, all told, however, and would have much preferred to have stayed home and read some books. ^^; *introverts*

I hate when that happens, preparing and packing and fussing for a vacation then not enjoyng yourself. sad
Edit: Wow, and no power to top it off. I hope you have better vacations to come.

*is trying to get avi edits of all my roleplay characters, but wouldn't want to make you edit an avatar into a Gungan* eek sweatdrop
Oh, and would it cost if I asked if either you or Kimi could take an outfit I premade and if you could put a wig on it? One of my roleplay characters has a somewhat-Gaia outfit, and I just needed the Windy wig but I know it'd be wrong if I put it on myself. sweatdrop

awe, sorry your vacation wasnt that good Meri sad
my vacation went rather well.. the worst part was leaving crying ((for those who didnt know, i was in MN visiting my bf for 9days... i had to fly back to home, to CA, on Saturday))
