Eww. Headless body hug. Elke stood awkwardly, if yesterday hadn't happened the same way, she'd be crying longside Danny, too. Or she'd be talking with Josiah. Or she wouldn't be so off the edge. She hesitantly extended her arm to pat Danny's shoulder, frowning. "Danny. It's not your fault, really." It's mine, she thought.

"Danny.." Her voice trailed off as he ducked into bushes. Her legs shook heavily while she bit her lip. She was so stupid to have gone without blood for so long. You could.. No, I'm not, I'm bloody not, you idiot she thought. She dropped down to her knees beside where Danny had been sitting. She couldn't bring up any of her nagging questions now. Prolly never. "Danny?"

"You better be, b*****d." Elke shuddered, it was pathetic how mean she could be when no one could see. She just couldn't do it to him. He meant too much to her. Now, it seemed he had shunned her out. What had she done? Well, you didn't kill that kid. Should've. I bet you could've gotten away with it. She groaned, cupping her hands over her eyes. This place was no good.
