Sil looked at her with a blank expression, making it clear she had not heard of whatever it was Kiah was speaking of. "What's the rumor?" She asked dumbly, feeling a wave of dread come over her at anyone mentioning rumors. She had enough things going on for other people to talk about that she couldn't help but think she'd be hearing something about her.
The yelp under the couch caught her attention, though, and with a puzzled look she reached a hand under the couch feeling around for anything under there. As Lavi came in she was still rooting, though she smiled. "Hey Lavi~ Newly refurbished Common Room, it's almost like new!"

Chaoe paled, seeing Sil's hand only inches from her face.

She suddenly remembered a scene like this one from a few years back- panic and anxiety struck.
She did the only thing that came to her mind in such a state.
She bit Sil's hand with her sharp teeth.

"Hey Lavi." Kiah was a bit busy scoping out the room to give him a wave, peering over the edge of the couch. She looked over at Sil a bit in confusion after making sure no one had come in besides Lavi, wondering how she hadn't heard. "You know, the rumors for Valentine's Day? What eveyone's been talking about the last few days? Ringing any bells?" Kiah looked between Sil and Lavi, sure one of them knew what she was talking about.

Sil was still looking at her with a blank expression while rooting around beneath the couch on her quest. "Valentine's Day rumors? Wow... what the hell have I been doing that I missed that--"
As a mouth chomped down on her hand, Sil made a funny noise that was somewhere between a frightened squeal and a pain-filled yelp. She quickly withdrew her hand, gazing at the wound which distinctly looked like teeth had indented her skin, sharp ones at that. Little drops of blood started to form at the points of puncture. "Something freaking bit me! What the hell is under this couch!"

"No, I haven't heard a thing..." He eyed Kiah warily, wondering what kind of rumors these might be. "Is Komui building some kind of creepy robot again?" He shuddered at the thought of it.
When Sil yelped he jumped, bumping against the couch arm. "What the...!?" He grabbed her hand to look at the wound, frowning a little before letting it go and hopping off the couch to crouch down and carefully peek underneath, keeping a safe distance in case whatever had bit Sil was gonna attack his face next.

Edit: "No, it's about Valentine's Day." She told Lavi, shivering at the thought of another robot rampage.
"I have no clue, you really should have heard something. Anyway, I heard that there was going to be-" Kiah looked at Sil with worry, transforming to horror when she saw bleeding puncture wounds. She pulled her legs up on the couch and let out a muffled scream, covering her mouth with her hands and looking down to see if whatever was under there was going to come out.
(( I feel like Komui hasn't struck in awhile... ))

((I'm sure Valentine's Day will somehow be his fault... some plan to pair up all the men in the Order so none of them can be with Lenalee. DB LOL.
Lavi to the rescueeeeee! Sort of. xD))
"Don't put your face down there!" Sil cried as Lavi knelt down, and after deciding there had to be some sort of horrifying mutant rat under the couch she lept off of it onto the nearest coffee table where she was a safe distance from the floor. The image that came into her mind was a giant, black, furry rat with red beady eyes and sharp teeth, oozing with green drool. "Just... just poke something under the couch... or... move it or something!"

((Yeah that's kinda what I meant with the robot xD Seems like Komui to make some creepy kissing robot or something.))
As he was met with Chaoe's eyes, he frowned at her, wondering why she seemed so afraid and was biting people. He waved a hand back at Sil to calm her down. "It's okay... It's Chaoe."
"Chaoe...?" He smiled at her kindly, shifting just a little bit closer to the couch, tilting his head so he could see her better. "What's wrong? It's just us."

She shook, "Mister Rolf is- is he gone? He's not out there anymore looking for me anymore?"

"Chaoe?" Kiah looked at Lavi in surprise and flew forward, catching herself with her hands and looking at Chaoe upside down, resting her head on the ground. She immediately felt a bit lightheaded, though she smiled at Chaoe in a reassuring way, trying to coax her out from underneath the couch. "What are you doing down there, silly?"
She frowned a bit at the girl, wondering who Mr. Rolf was. "It's just me, Lavi, and Sil in here now."

Michiyo walked into the Common Room, happy to see it so fully occupied, but frowning almost immediately at the odd poses of the three on the couch. "Hey guys," she said, standing next to it, "What's going on?"

"Chaoe?" Sil asked Lavi in surprise, sliding down off of the table to join the other two on the floor, leaning down with a little head tilt so she could see the scared little girl beneath the couch. The name Chaoe mentioned didn't sound familiar to her, and she frowned as she wondered who that man was and why Chaoe was so terrified that she would bite.
"It's just us, sweetie," she said, smiling a little bit. Whatever anger she had for the bite was gone. A maternal tone came to her voice and she reached under to gently touch Chaoe's head in a soothing fashion; if she was bit again then she would deal with it. Now that the little one could see her face she figured whatever memory that tainted her perceptions had been removed. "Why don't you come on out? There's no one out here."
She withdrew her hand a moment later with a little smile. "I'll be right back, though... I need to uh... go make some hot chocolate," she stood and brushed herself off, moving off towards the nearest first aid collection. It wouldn't do any good to make the girl feel bad about the bite.
