Why wouldn't I be? Perhaps I condescend to those I don't find to be altogether worthy of my attention from time to time, but I hardly think I'd want to categorize you that way.

Well.. I never really thought I was worth much. Seeing as I felt just like a second string to everyone else..
I'm not sure how I should feel about garnering your attention.. But.. It makes me feel like I'm worth something.

You're a founding Avenger. You're more than capable, and I think you've proven that many times over. Not to mention, you're quite... attractive. I think that most certainly qualifies you as being worthy of my attention, even if Stark doesn't feel the same.
