Drea blinked.. thenblushed and smiled shyly up at him. When Caradoc knocked he peeked around the other man and into the room uncertinally

 Miles heard the voice clearly. He got up and opened the door. It swung with so much force it hit the wall and came back hitting Miles's side with a loud WACK Miles wasn't phased at all by it.  "What the hell do you want?" He asked holding in most of his anger. It was then he saw Dream cowering behind him. He put his hand on his head to calm down, then turned so he didn't look Dream in the eyes.  He swore under his breath. He turned around with more compasion in his eyes.  "Yes?" He asked more nicely.

Dream jumped starlted. THen eyes wide. He completely hid behind Caradoc with a tiney whimper of fear. He didn't peek back out even when it seemed like Miles was calm again.
Such shifts in moods were clsoe enough to personality shifts that it was making him extramly nervous. His fingers tightened there grip on Caradoc's shirt making his knuckles white. Unconciously he even pressed his face into Caradoc's back trembling slightly

Tomo laughed, "No, I mean you're spending quality time together." He said, bending down to kiss Rhiannon on the head, "I hate to break this up, but you ought to get to bed, sweetheart." He said, scratching his daughter's ears.
Rhiannon nodded and bowed politely to Trina. "I was nice talking to you." She said, hugging her father, "G'night, daddy." She said, walking upstairs.
Caradoc froze up. His body made an electric charging noise like a camera's flash building up. "Jeez, we came to see if you were okay. You're gonna scare us to death!"

Trina blinked, then laughed at her misunderstanding. "Ah...of course..forgive me Tomo. Goodnight Rhi!" She said to the girl, smiling. "She's wonderful Tomo. Talkative, but not so fast I can't understand her."

he heard every word he said. He calmly and slowly walked past Caradoc, and saw how frightned Dream was. He felt pretty bad about himself now.
"i'm sorry I didn't mean to do that." He whispered calmly.
Miles fell to his knees.
"I'm very sorry." He whispered bowing his head.
Miles eyes looked up at Caradoc.
"I was thinking is all, and I was wondering, if it was okay with Dream." His eyes shifted back to Dream. "If maybe I could buy him from whomever is doing all this to you anyway, or I could take your place." He looked at Dream.

"i.. it's ok.. " he said. Though he remained cluching onto Caradoc's shirt tightly with his hands. He uncocniously scooted just out of arms reach for Miles. Then he shook his head no.
"n.. no.. k.. kaden didn't.. wanna buy me but.. i was runaway an.. he was helping.. an. .it's just the bad half an that would be bad if you got hurt it would be all my fault" he said in one fast breath. THen took a slightly deeper one. Dream didn't know how to handel this at all so he was keeping close to Caradoc.
"T.. th key is on the dresser.." he added timidly to Miles.
"i wont.. come in anymore." he said quickly to him.

"Obviously..." Caradoc breathed, resting his hand under his bangs as his adrenaline dissipated. He stood to the side only a little bit so Dream could talk to Miles. He took a deep breath and waited for Dream's response.
Tomo beamed proudly. "Isn't she? I'm so proud to be her dad." he said, pouring himself a cup of tea. "Did you want anything, Trina?"

Miles eyes went wide. He looked at Dream something inside him felt as if it was breaking under preasure. His hand went up then went towards Dream slowly, then retracted a bit. He slowly got up and went closwer to Dream, and knelt down.
"I don't want you to leave." He whispered. "I'm not afraid of anyone, and I'll protect you if I have to." Miles said calmly.
He glanced at Caradoc, part of him didn't want him involved and yet he knew he was a key assest here.
"I want you to keep the key." Miles said more normally.
He stood up and gave Dream a smile.
"Now why the heck are you so terrified, if you think I'm ever going to hurt you then there's something messed up in your head." He laughed ruffling Dreams hair.
He knew by showing that he was okay now, and was happy that hopefully Dream wouldn't be terrified.
"See it will be okay. I promise." Miles told Dream looking directly in his eyes.

Trina smiled at his smile, then heard the question. Sleep... "A glass of water would be lovely Tomo, if you do not mind...thank you." She said, nodding once. "I'm sorry about the rain...I can't stop it right now." She said, apologizing.

Tomo nodded and got her a glass of water from the tap. He walked over with both drinks and sat down beside her, "How's it going, Trina? Life treating you good?"

Lily woke, blinking sleepily as she gazed around the room. She looked a bit better than she had earlier, though not by much. After a moment, she realized that she was still hungry, and her mouth was dry; with a soft grunt she stood, and slowly made her way behind the counter to get to the kitchen.

Dream was confused. But relaxed a little bit. At least Miles didn't seem completely angry he'd been sharing a room with a slave. And it was comforting to have Caradoc right there.
He automatically flinched when Miles reached for him. then relaxed when it was nothing more then ruffling his hair. A tiney smile went on his face
"o.. ok" he said

"You're upset about something aren't you." He smiled. "All right go on tell me what it is so you stop flinching." Miles smiled.
He could tell his plan was working, and seeing that Dream was happy and staying he felt his anger leaving, and felt better himself.

"I'm not upset.. I expected you to hit me. That's what.. usually happens when i do things wrong" he said uncertinally to him.
