Does anyone remeber the original Sonic and Megaman series? I do not mean Sonic X nor Megaman NT warrior. The Sonic of which I speak had a weird looking Robotonik compared with the games. In the Megaman original, Protomain had a shield, and not a sword, just like he should. Also, Megaman seems to defeat Cutman in every episode and use his powers more than anyone else's.
Also, I have always wondered about the name of the show with the following. There were 3 guys that wore armor. the blonde guy had blue armor that would turn into an aircraft. The Black haired guy wore green armor and had a mustache. He could turn into a sea vehicle. The final guy had brown hair, yellow armor, and could turn into an automobile. The seemed to live in this missile silo that had a computer that would tell them when a disaster occured or something.
In addition, there was a show that had these barbaric guys, blobs that made a funny laugh-like sound, and dinosaurs that the barbarians would ride. It was on another planet and was futuristic, yet ancient.
There was alos this show that I vaguely remember that had some crime solvers in it. The beginning was always raind at night, focusing in on a building.
There was also this newer show thatlasted very briefly that had a sheep and two military guys (Private Public and general psecific) would chase after it for some odd reason.
Does anyone remember the Superchunk marathon of a randomly selected show on Cartoon Network way back in the day. I mean way back, as in Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theatre, back.

Reboot was teh awesome^_^I still sometimes feel bad whens I blwos up NPCS now:p

Ok that was um..the one with teh armor damnit!>.<, now when you ask i forgetx.x crying That was such an sawesome show!I used to watch reruns on teh Boomerang channel till we had to get cable(cant get sattelite in the palce we live crying )

OH!I loved that show, with gloop and gleep!they could stretchy themselves razz anbd the stone gorilla, and the dragon that shot lasers from the holes in his skino.o(or so it seemed:p)and the rhino dinosaur that shot metoeritres from his head:p

Dude!Sheep in the Big City! That show was surprisingly funny^_^

I didnt like Flintstones or the jetsons sweatdrop
I coudlnt stnad them at all>.
I just never got into the flintstones and the Jetsons I thought just didnt make sense(too much sci fi books for meh:p)

eek eek eek Crap, Snowman!!! dude, I thought that I could write long posts.

Okay . . . *cracks his knuckles*

Yes, I remember the Megaman anime- and was mildly disappointed. Sure the game series got a bit repeditive, but the series could have been made better. One point was to ask: Why make Megaman buff?! He was a robot, so he had no need of a sixpack! I also remember the earliest (I think) Sonic show, the one with princess Sally, the half-robot bunny, the mechanic walrus and so on. That was an awesome show and to be honest, I miss it. cry

Ronin Warriors is teh shiznit! pirate

Pokemon . . . so many problems with this concept. What was worse, when the origonal bit came out, my roomies and I got caught up in it all too. We pitched in and bought a pokemon monopoly set, and even likened each other to certain pokemon. Really stupid, I know, but can anybody guess whom they chose from the origonal 151 to resemble me? The worst of it was that the guy I shared a room with would listen to the poke-rap in it's entirety several times a day . . . for a while I recognized the whole song, as well as others since he was playing a soundtrack disk from pokemon. rolleyes

Yu Yu was alright . . . same effects and power levels of DBZ, but not nearly as drawn out. Still, for some reason it couldn't hold my attention for long. If it was on, I would gladly watch it- but rarely did I hunt for it.

The only Card Captor I know is Card Captor Sakura . . . so . . . much . . . loli hentai!!!! ninja

Yu-Gi-Oh, oh shnap. I have so many cards I don't know what to do with them all!!! The show was great, when I could see it, and given the oportunity, duels would have been fun. Unfortunately, all around here that ever dueled were kids a fraction of my age with nothing better to do than to refine their decks to a lethality that makes playing them senseless. Usually my defeat happened in less than six turns. crying No newbs around here for me to duel.

The scale was used by shadi, though. He had both the Millenium Key and Scales and used them on Yugi back in Pegasus' castle just after defeating him in the five episode duel. *feels nerdy for knowing that off-hand*

Animaniacs . . . there are two kinds of people in this world- those that liked them and those that hated them. I was the latter. Well, perhaps not hate, but they never did anything for me. The only bit that did make me smile was "Pinky and the Brain".

Freakazoid: See Animaniacs

Scooby in all it's forms is just bleh for me.

Power Rangers, in the same vein as so many animes that I can't summarily dismiss them, but in their like 15th season new ideas have to be running pretty damned dry.

Titans: Hell yeah. Love that show. Of course, seeing their daughter in my Kingdom Come graphic novel, I also want to see them get together. Then again, the adoptive son of Batman is bound to have massive problems dealing with women.

Kenshin = Awesome! I actually have Samurai X downloaded, and would like to sooner or later get a hold of the series that made it to american TV- uncensored if possible. mrgreen

Megas XLR. . . . *eyes get wide and grin gets impossibly big as he builds up a bit of energy before yelling* I DIG GIANT ROBOTS!!! YOU DIG GIANT ROBOTS!!! WE DIG GIANT ROBOTS!!! CHICKS DIG GIANT ROBOTS!!! *quick guitar solo* . . . nice. That is one of the most awesome shows ever to be made. They ridiculed so many anime cliches that I couldn't stop laughing ever. "Give me a philly cheesesteak, wrap it in bacon- then deep-fry it!!!" rofl rofl rofl

Gundam (any variant) . . . meh. It is alright, but never really grabbed me.

Shaman King is just like One Piece to me- the animation leaves a bit to be desired and the plotline gets way too repeditive for my tastes.

Curage the cowardly dog? No. talk2hand

*seethingly jealous of complete copy of Reboot and Ronin Warriors not being at his disposal*

Naruto is awesome as well- I have up to episode 76 in subbed format. Love it . . .

Zatch was alright. Not wonderous, but alright. Bobobobobobobobobobobobobo, however, I just can't enjoy on any level. I have tried, but no.

Could probably go on, but fingers are tired and JLU is coming on. Justice League is so well handled that I would kick myself hard if I missed it. cool

EDIT: Darkseid!!! pirate

I don't get FMA or Inuyasha very mch. I just can't seem to get a hold of the storyline for very long when it changes on me and I'm confused again. I just quite watching it after about 5 tries.

~~~~~
Same here, Ivel. *pieces together an AI-driven NPC* You'll live Bob, you will.
Oh well, I don't expect anyone to remember. I justwish that Cartoon Network would keep an archive of all of their show titles along with a synopsis and a few screenshots for easy reference.
Gloop and Gleep! I remember them! Oh, what was the name of that show, then?
Sheep in the Big City! That's what it is. I've got to find that some day.
~~~~~

Apparently, I can, too! biggrin blaugh pirate It is just that there are so many great or memorable shows out there that I either liked or hated, and I have to talk about them all.

I don't remember him being buff, but I do remember an episode where Wily started sending out these high-frequency sound waves that drove the any robots batty.

I'm not sure if we are on the same page with the Sonic show. Did the Dr. Robotnik have a weird outfit, and were his eyes all black, except for some beady little red iris-es?

Isn't it?

I couldn't guess.

The main character of Card Captors was Sakura. I guess that the American version cut all of that out. She has a stupid plushie of a cat with wings that can turn into a huge lion. Also, to use some card that flew out of the book that she has reclaimed, she throws it in the air and smacks it with her staff of blah-ness.

That is a big problem with Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. My cousins have had the 3 egyptiand god monsters plus all of exodia in 1 card since the game came out. Those 4 card make them rich, I swear. Oh, I wasn't aware of that and must have missed that episode. What did the scales do?

Oh well, I understand you dislike and non-understanding of it.

I must say that the original Power Rangers had some good graphics considering the time that they were made. Nowadays, they're stupid police people and have the same lame explosions and poofs of smoke.

They have a daughter in a whole new series already!? very true. Poor Robin was warped by Batman.

You do? Lucky! What is the nname of the other series of Kenshin's. There Ruroni whixh is after his batosi days, Samuri X which is during his Batosi days, and there is another one with some numbers in it that covers him when his hair is hot-pink and he is very young.

Yeah, another fan. I would so collect Megas XLR if I could find it.

My sentiments exactly about Shaman King and One Piece.

I happen to have the jaapnese one that can be played in Japanese English or one with the subtitles of the other. Good luck in finding the OVAs. They were hard to find all in one. Try looking up "amurai Troopers"
I couldn't find ReBoot again. I guess that I was just lucky. The company that supported Reboot on television selkls some, but not all, of their season, and at very expensive prices, too. Good luck!

That much!? *twitches*

Really, I guess BoBoBo is just something you either hate or love just like Animaniacs.

I watched it, too! Where the heck is Brainiac, though?
PostPosted: Sun May 07, 2006 4:58 am

*twitches* Too! Many! WORDS!! *dies* Anyway, I lurff Kenshin, but I've never seen Samurai X, only Rouroni Kenshin. I don't know most of the stuff about Megaman and the like, but I like CCS and GW, they PWN. Bobobo makes me twitch and Inuyasha is a very cool show to watch if you like thinking and have the time to devote to the entire series. You can pick up the storyline after about five eps if you've missed a lot, too. Another one I personally adore is s-CRY-ed and Paranoia Agent. FLCL is my idol, especially Haruko. I have no idea which of my favvie animes were discussed, but I figured I'd bring them up. ^_^
