((Fanfiction.net tally hoooo~))
Sil frowned at his sudden downturn of mood, missing the smile the second it disappeared from his face. She had been desperately hoping for a positive answer to follow along with the good news, and though she was disappointed there was none to accompany it, she kept those feelings hidden for the time being. “Hey,” she said softly, stealing her hand from him just for a moment to gently tap her finger beneath his chin, trying to bring his downcast gaze back to her own. “If Liv says she’s safe, there’s no reason we shouldn’t believe her. She knows how to take care of herself… but at least we can take solace knowing that she’s taken care of for now.”
She pursed her lips for a moment, wishing she could just gently wipe that painful expression from his face, as if removing dust from a glass table. “I know you miss her,” a hard swallow followed the words, like they were a little difficult to admit. Lavi and Liv had always seemed to have a close relationship, and with the way Liv had been acting just before she disappeared, even with her claims about Jacob, had made her a little concerned about how deep that relationship was. Sil loved Liv deeply, like a sister if she had the will to admit such a connection, but now she found Liv’s track record with swooning men to be more worrisome. “I miss her too, I really do… and I never did find out the story behind the reason why she was teasing me so terribly that day in the Common Room. I mean, she’s known how I’ve felt about you for years…”
Her hand glided down his arm in a gentle movement, tangling her fingers with his. “The door is locked, right…? Lets sit down on the bed. Even if Franzie’s treatment made you feel better, I promised the nurse I’d look after you. We should hear a key rattle if Bookman comes back before I leave, and it won’t be a lie to say that I’m supposed to be making sure you’re not doing something stupid…” She gave his hand a very gentle encouraging tug to try to move him in that direction, making sure not to slip on any papers or anything important. The suggestion wasn’t just for him—her foot still hurt something terrible.

((Terrible... scarring fanfictions ]: ))
Nodding a little at her reassurance, he lifted his head to meet her eyes again, telling himself to stop worrying about it and to just focus on her. These moments were rare enough as it was, he didn't want to ruin them by being gloomy and depressed. He could do that when he was alone again... He actually laughed at the memory of Liv's behaviour in the Common Room when Sil brought it up, even though it wasn't really all that funny, but it just seemed so silly now, in hindsight. It felt like a million years ago. He stopped his laughing quickly, holding the back of his free hand to his mouth, not wanting to insult her unintentionally.
"Sorry," he muttered and followed her to his bed, lowering himself onto the mattress without letting go of her hand. He wasn't surprised to hear Liv knew about Sil's feelings for so long, as Liv always seemed to know everything. "That was... Liv just being Liv. I told her about us." He admitted, his free hand fumbling with the green scarf she had given him that had been lying on his bed. "She always helped me cope with my feelings for you, so... I felt she should know. I should have just told you instead of letting her tease you like that, I'm sorry..." He looked at her apologetically, unaware it had been bugging her, still.

((Only some of them! I'm reading legit things now.))
She blinked, taken aback by the sudden laughter at her question, wondering what was so funny about it. It was easy not to be too insulted at being laughed at, since it was an excellent alternative to pain even if it was at her expense. Sil would do just about anything to keep that smile on his face as long as she could, though she couldn’t help the slight faux pout that pulled at her bottom lip. It disappeared quickly, however, and instead of sitting on the bed next to him she proceeded to settle down carefully on his lap. They were alone, and as long as she wasn’t aggravating any of his remaining injuries she was going to keep as much intimacy as possible. Well, at least as much intimacy as they were comfortable with. Everything about them still had that new feeling to it, and she was still unsure of how Lavi was in a relationship.
“That’s why?” She let out a long sigh, like the knowledge irked her slightly, though she was pleased to know there wasn’t another reason behind it. It made a lot of sense, considering Liv’s mischievous personality and how much she loved to tease. “Yeah, that would have been nice to know… We’re going to have to work on this whole… communication thing,” she gave him a lopsided smile, “I can break it down pretty easily… You should tell me when you tell someone else about us… since I’m not planning on telling anyone other than Cross, so it would be nice to know when I’m looking like a total idiot denying us in front of people,” she hummed for a moment as she thought, “Then, of course, if you do something stupid… or something you know will upset me. It’ll be better to hear it from you,” she nuzzled his neck gently, placing a gentle kiss beneath his chin. “Oh, and of course when I’m doing something that bothers you… I need to know or I can’t fix it, even if it will upset me a little.”

((You only showed me the scarring ones! Except that HP one xD))
He hadn’t expected her to choose to sit on his lap instead of the bed, but he was glad that she had. Letting the scarf drop back on the sheets, he wrapped his arms around her waist, tilting his head slightly to rest it against hers.
He returned the smile a little grimly. He didn’t even really know why he’d kept that from her, maybe his mind was still set so deep in denial mode he had trouble sharing things and being honest with her, even about stupid little things like that. He’d been lying to himself and to her for so many years, after all. Liv had been the person he would talk to about his doubts, the things he couldn’t say to Sil, that he wouldn’t trouble her with. And even Liv hadn’t been told everything… But he tried not to think about all of that too much, pessimistically looking to the ‘what if?’ scenarios. What if she’d been better off not knowing about his feelings? Would it have hurt her less? Those were never going to go away, and he couldn’t turn back time. All he could do was just forget about them as much as possible and be happy with the choices he had made. And they did make him happy, more so than he had ever imagined was possible, but he was still trying to convince himself that he’d done right by her.
“Well…” he bit his lip a little, figuring his lessons in communicating might as well start immediately, “I don’t really… like that you smoke.” He regretted it the instant it left his mouth. He didn’t really need her to change for him, and his reason for disliking her habit was more because her Innocence was already eating away at her lifespan and he didn’t want her to worsen that, rather than the actual smoking itself. But he’d sent her some disapproving looks whenever she had lit up a cigarette, so he imagined she might have already figured that one out by herself. “But, you know…” he shrugged a little, trying to brush it away like it was no big deal, “You should do what you want, it's not that bad…”

By time the man had caught up to Liv, she had calmed down completely. No one was in danger anymore, and she was well enough away from Kiah. Both of her arms were wrapped tightly around the papers still, and her sights were set ahead of her. A little shiver trickled down her spine at the breeze, and she quickened her pace a tad, wanting to get home.
"What's your name, then?" she asked him, still looking forward, "She went home, right?"

He was minutely surprised at the girl's change in attitude. Noticing the shiver forced a hand in removing his jacket. He then draped it over the girl's shoulders. "If by home, you mean The Order, then yes. That was the direction she headed." He mentally noted how refreshing it was to be honest, after a day spent in lies.
"I'm Soma," he stated and then quickly replayed in his mind, the altercation they had just endured, searching for the information he wanted. "Liv, right?"

Liv jumped a little when he laid his coat around her shoulders, not expecting it as she had still been staring straight ahead. She gave him a small, furtive glance before tugging it around herself more. It felt odd accepting a coat from a complete stranger, but Liv still felt he wasn't a stranger. She knew he wasn't a stranger rather, even if she had never met him before.
"Good. Yes...that is my name. I would say I'm surprised you've never heard of it before, but seeing that I haven't heard yours before either, I really can't.....I know that you know where I'm headed, and I know the reason you're headed for the same place, " she told him matter-of-factly.
(( Yeah that happens sometimes XD Actually...it happens to me a lot...when it's just a lot of dialogue, I feel bad that I type like 2 lines, wishing I could put a huge block of text...but there simply isn't much else to say, lmao. ))

((Hopefully the deeper I get involved with this RP the easier things will come.))
Soma was relieved that he could help the girl become more comfortable. As she forced the covering to envelope her more, a gentle smirk played across his mouth. He listened to her words. Pleased that the wheels in her head were turning, and wanting to hear her assessment he posed a question.
"What do you know? And what do you suspect?" Soma always chose his words.

"Don't play coy with me. I know you're one of them. They're my family, I'm not stupid, " she snapped at him. I am now, too...she thought to herself, but made sure not to give anything away to him.
He really had no idea who she was, that much was obvious. Though she didn't know exactly who he was in the family, she knew he was part of it. She tried to think of all the members, ticking them off in her head. There were many she had heard of and never met; he could be any of them. He hadn't been in the Earl's loop as far as her own...incident...was concerned, so he must not be very close to the Earl. She knew some of the members the Earl certainly favored above others. For a brief moment, she wondered how the Earl felt about her. Did he favor her at all? Doubtful. She brushed the thought away quickly. It didn't matter what the Earl thought, she had her family forever now.
