Well I joined the Dark Life RP. Seems nice enough. At the very least I got something to do besides sit aroud in the lab wondering what to do.

I killed some rats and levelled up with a my SL buddy walking me through the stuff. We can't team up because there's too much of a level gap between us, but he's keeping other crap off my back while I grind on weak stuff.

It's the same kinda stuff all the time, go and kill stuff, heal up, go and kill stuff, heal up, etc. but all MMOs are like that, and at least since this one's in SL, it opens up a whole world of possibilities. You can take a weapon script for one of the swords and put it into one you made yourself, and you can do the same with the armors, so you effectively can have any look you want even with all the gear. However, I don't think it's doable with the backpack given it's very complex and all.
So, final rating for Dark Life RP within SL:
Good.

The cow goes to its stall and munches on fodder.
The horsie roams a bit before heading back out to roam around outside.
The bunny darts out the door, runs across the yard, and pounces me. whee
