Jaun looked up..or rather down from his place on the wall. A smile spread on his face. "Well well well, Jell. Would you look who it is?"
"What, what?" He was facing upwards, and looking around at the ceiling. When finally it occured to him to look down, he spotted imidiatly what Jaun was stalking aobut.
"Our freind with the white hair is back.
"I dare say he enjoyed our company last time."
"Perhaps he would like to see us again?" both grinned this time.

The tapestry lived a long fruitful life, until it had the missfortune of falling on a drow. A fiery burst intercepted the thing, incinerating it rather efficently. Tarathiel laughed until he saw Malik and turned his head to see what the commotion was about. "Interesting house guests, what are they, tieflings?"
Jiscal watched the tapestry fall into ashes, "That was valuable."
Diamond looked a Malik and his eyes widened, Malik's reputation preceded him.
"Oh, Malik. Greetings." Tarathiel said calmly.

Aella shook her head. "They are imps, Tarathiel. Lively ones at that."
She turned to see this Malik, but her memeroy of him was not as clear as it was of Piper. She was not yet sure what to think aobut it. She stood in her silks, leaning on her staff.
"Do you here that Jaun?" A shocked face greeted his brother.
"He....laughed..."
Jell giggled, a mischievious light to his eyes. "We've made a freind!"

Morelle bounced on her shoulder, feeling awefull that Eliot had to elave her father like that. Actually, he wasn't about to let her leave him like that. He knew his vah twins were alive, whether or not they would be for long was another story. but for now, he would focus on helping Eliot, she needed him the most right now. He jumped from her shoulder and grabbedon to Eliot's hood, pulling at it while he fell to theg round, then letting go before the tug-surprise hurt her.
She was going the wrong way. Thsi way would be better! There are people down this way. He barked at her until she stopped running. Barked again and took off down the corridor. He followed scents to the larges grouping of people..the more there to here her than perhaps the more to help her, right?
He lead Eliot straight to the throne room.

Eliot was not thinking about where she was going. she did not notice the familiar halls or tapistries. She followed Morelle blindly, tucking her face cloak up below her eyes.
She saw Morelle dancing before two large doors and did not stop. She pushed them in at a fast pace and came barelling into the room. The fisrt thing she noticed were people. Her heart tripped, so many people to deal with at once. She tried to keep her composure.
Unfortunatly she was short, and did not pose much of a threat, but she tried. Her accent taunted her.
"Which ohne af youh wohuld be theh king?"

Malik's hand rested on Malvolence, the red glint of it in his eyes.
"hello, Captian Tarathiel...and I take it the woman in silks with you is the Whirlwind that Onyx is so concerned with?"
A look to Diamond, and Jiscal.
"And this must be the new ruler of Deepwater. Jiscal, was it? Dimitri was rather..upset...at you replacing him. But I'm here not for a social visit, but buisness. The Oracle..I assume that Tanundra found her, since he's not throwing a temper tantrum in your city. I need to consult with her, so if any of you know where she is I'd be appreciative."
then a closer look to Jiscal.
"And I do hope you won't be following in your predessor's footprints when it comes to elven folk."

Jiscal stared back at Malik. "Of course, you come marching in here after we disposed of him to-" He would have continued had he not been interrupted by Tarathiel.
Tarathiel looked inquisitively at Malik, "I never told you this name?" It wasn't even really his to begin with.
Diamond took a step back, not wanting to be near these brutes should they decide to fight.
"The lovely Oracle is safe, and she is not well. You will have to wait until she recovers to inquisit her." Tarathiel replied to Malik, his attention drawn away from the imps all together. "And King Jiscal's policies currently have nothing to do with race, he has more important matters to deal with than squabling with the quesiton of genetic supiriority, Unlike you Malik, who seems to have all the time in the world to do what he wants, when he wants to do it." Tarathiel's cold tone did not reveal that is the way he actually lived as well.

"You didn't have to. Malvolence has many unique gifts. now all you need to wonder about is who's mind did I snatch it from in your present company. and as for time, it's a way we both seem to live. you hiding on your magically cloaked vessel, able to come and go as you please, when you please. Me in my home, abel to go where I want, when I want."
Malik's tone was equally as cold to Tarathiel, though he grinned lightly.
"And I take it, you now have the oracle in your custody. and as much as I normally wouldn't mind waiting, this buisness I need to see her about is quite pressing. Which of course is why I came here, as opposed to simply trying to find her on my own. And you know, I am a bit annoyed at the fact you prompted an opportunity for me to get a little payback agasint the former ruler and then snatched it away. I was planning to enjoy sinking his fleet. maybe comandeer a vessel for myself."

She nodded, although she did not appreciate the tone she was adressed with. Elves, they never liked half-cousins. Obviously he thought that Onyx being concerned for he was a waist of time.
"Aye. But Meilikki will be having no visitors, not for a long while."
She noticed the newcommer, btu she was not the king of cours, so she did not answer.

"I thought about letting you do that, but then the oppertunity just seemed to arise." Tarathiel partially lied, "Oh, yes, your sword did drink the blood of a psionist... If that really is your sword." Tarathiel bluffed. "Obviously you can't read my mind, or you would have used my proper title." The elf boldly proclaimed.
"And if you did have the means to exact some revenge on D'Mitri, why did you sit around in your castle? Parading your freedom to annoy him for some personal pleasure, as surely true Drow do not allow foreign rule so close to their homes." Tarathiel knew that well, Jin's homeland was several leagues from Tarathiel's capital, and it was put to the sack.
"Then again, you are not the same dark blood as my own, which probably means you are an inferrior surface variety." He must be bored to cox a fight from Malik. He even knew something that would cause this one to break... Then again, maybe that is how he was learning things, intercepting the messages his wizards were sending him... That would be clever.
Jiscal started to see the glimer in Tarathiel for what it was, and he too began to move slowly away from the drow, knowing full well that Tarathiel would not stop short of killing him. The imps began to draw his attention, "What do you two want?" He asked more hostily than he would have intended, his angre at the two more powerful figures was begining to turn into jealousy.
"As my estimed special said, Meilikki will not be seeing visitors for a long while... That, and my ship is close to being underseige... It would be terible to save her from the demon's lair only to lose her to the depts of water."

They smiled. "We're watching," they said together.
"Fights are fun to watch!"
"There might be fire!"
"Or lightning!" The dropped from the wall and ont their feet, imidiatly taking to mimicking a sword fight. "Shing! Clang!" Jell stopped and elbowed his brother.
"Oh yeah!" He held his chest out. "I'm looking for a crwon. I've always wanted one!"

Lord Jiscal looked dumbly at the two imps and then turned his head towards the other new voice. "I am the king, or was the king." He responded.
"Who are you, and what would you like?" Jiscal asked as though it were second nature. Since he was raised in the outer rim territory of nobles, he spoke more often with servents and peasents than other high borns. "How can the current ruler of Deep Water be of service to such a young mistriss of the realm?" He walked closer to the child as he spoke fliching a look towards the imps.
"The treasury is empty, and the crown a fake." He was glade that moving towards the girl got him away from the drow.

Malik laughed at Tarathiel.
"Oh come now. you think I woudl be so stupid as to try and play in your mind, with your wizard's games afoot? As for Dimitri's rule...as long as it can be controled, and is no threat, I don't care about it. however during the tournament it was made quite clear he was a threat. and unlike you, I don't have several thousand troops to summon in a fingersnap. So I have to work a little more subtle. Or, simply wait. Patience is a virtue, and human's only live so long."
That last comment about a surface variety got his blade drawn, springing to life with flame. He was already in a foul mood from before, and that just made it a little worse.
"Just because I don't go rampaging into things doesn't make me any less a Tier'dal..or drow..as you. There will come a time your bloodlusting and overly-ambitious lifestyle will get you killed. and I'll be there to watch when it happens. Your shaman, your wizards, won't save you everytime and your skills will one day find thier better."

This man did no look to appealing.
"Was the king? Then you wouldn't mind answereing some questions for me. I'm sure your foolish little war can be on hold for a moment or two yes?" As eliot spok she twirrled her dagger into to rest against her wrist, just in case.
"How is it that a..."respectable"...man can assume he has the right to simply walk onto any land and take whatever, or WHOMEVER he wants?"
She silently prayed she wasn't digging herself a grave.
"Do you enjoy killing pups? Sir Ruler?"

Jaun frowned, then imidiatly brightened. "But it looks real. I don't care if it is or not." He trotted behind the king, pretending to be a good little imp, which was kind of fun and differenet for about 20 seconds, before he got very bored.
He took a leap, landed on Jiscal's shoulders and grabbed the crown. Jumping down again, he plopped it on his own head, which was to small for the crwon. It slipped intul it sat right on his eyebrowa.
"Look naked lady! I'm the king!" He puffed out his chest.
"Who are you, and what would you like?" Jaun sauntered to Eliot in a very poor impression of Jiscal.
