Ky ran out of the Pokemon Center, filled with excitement. "I hope I find this guy. Not only will he be a challenge, but maybe he'll give me some tips. I just hope Little Guy's ready..." Ky thought as he entered the nearby woods. Ky took the Pokeball from his belt and called Little Guy. The white light formed onto his shoulder. Little Guy came out dozing, but due to Ky's running, the roughness on his shoulder woke Little Guy up. Even so, it looked like Little Guy was back to perfect health, alertly gazing up at the canopy as they passed under the trees.
Ky then slowed his pace to a walk, wondering where he could find the trainer. He really didn't have much of a clue as to where he'd find him, so he just went in the direction that he remembered his class went one day on a field trip to witness wild Pokemon. It seemed so long ago, and he remembered the trees feeling like towers, causing the class to huddle together in fear of both the vastness of the wild and the untamed Pokemon that lurked within. They were guided along by their teacher, who was a very skilled trainer. Ky looked backwards, imagining a line of kids following him, a trainer, them knowing that he held the power and understanding to keep them safe. Ky sighed.
"Natu!" Little Guy suddenly spoke up, scaring Ky to death. He never really heard his voice before, let alone at that volume. Shaking his head free from the scare, he looked at Little Guy and noticed that he was pointing with his wing up towards some nearby trees. When Ky looked, he saw that there were some twigs oddly stuck to the trunks, very close together. He walked up to the tree and looked to see that they were held glued by a white substance. Ky smiled with a look of understanding on his face. "String Shot," he muttered.
Walking only a little bit farther, he found him, laying against a tree with both of his Pokemon sitting next to him, his Larvitar by his side, and his Spinirak on his head. The Spinirak on his head seemed to notice Ky's presense causing Ky to gulp in nervousness.
"I..." Ky said softly. 'Come on man, gather up some courage,' he said to himself. "I ch.ch..challenge you to a duel!" Ky finally stuttered. Ky gulped again as he waited for the trainer's response.

Spinarak Jumped up from it's position on Crenu's head, nudging him gently as it jumped onto the ground defensively. As larvitar awoke as well it continued to nudge him until he woke up as well. Standing up all groggy like he looked around, then noticed another trainer with a Natu nervously looking at him. "You say something kid?"

Ky gulped one more time, this time to gather confidence. "Yeah," he said, much more strongly. "I'd like to battle you, 1 vs. 1, my Natu vs. your Spinirak." The defensive stances of his Pokemon were a bit unnerving. Little Guy just stared on.

"A battle huh?" He looked at his Spinarak, she seemed ready to go. He thought to himself, he knew that his Spinarak was outmatched by Natu by type. Natu's flying traits beat her bug traits, and the psychic traits beat her poison traits as well. He could only hope that Natu didn't know any psycic attacks yet. "Alright kid, sounds like fun. So what's your name?" He stared back at the boy, directly into his eyes without any felign of care or anything on his face.

The indifferent look on the trainer's face was almost terrifying, at least to Ky it was. He seemed unphased by the type advantage, though Ky could understand. 'It did stand up to that Spearow,' Ky thought. Nevertheless, he kept his composure. "My name's Ky. I'm from Violet City," Ky introduced himself. He pointed at his shoulder with his thumb. "This here is Little Guy. What's your name?"

"Name's Crenu and I'm from Ecruteak City. Alright Ky, lets do this." Crenu grinned as he hopped back a few feet to clear more room for a battle field. Spinarak jumped back with him and Larvitar remained on the sidelins as he watched. "Make your move kid."

Suddenly, Kasiya felt very stupid. "Uh, let me just put this away," she said, her voice rushed. Her hands fumbling slightly, she managed to fold the Acro Bike into its odd, yet strangely compact form before she attached it to her backpack. "There, that way I don't have to worry about leaving it behind," she said quickly, having forgotten that M.A. didn't have a bike. "Let's catch up to Fang and Shocker, then," she said brightly, impressed with herself. She hadn't really gotten sulky or whiny (well, except for that brief moment when she thought she'd be trapped by the rocks blocking the path) much the last day. All the drama she'd put herself through was behind her now. It was almost then that Nina's warning flashed across her mind like a news ticker, and she almost stopped dead in her tracks. I promised Nina I'd warn the others...I can't believe I forgot! I'm so selfish! she scolded herself, resolving that, upon finding Mitsu safe and sound, she'd hunker down and tell her, as well as her new acquaintance, M.A., about the possible dangers of this Maorde Menskr person or whatever he was called, then she'd call Keegan. It doesn't matter what we said to each other yesterday, the girl thought, pursing her lips as she walked. Even if he hangs up on me, I'll send text messages until he understands!
Meanwhile, Fang was swooping around Mitsu happily, a slightly airsick Shocker clinging to his back with all her strength. The Raichu gave a small wave, before jumping down from Fang's back and landing in front of the familiar trainer. "Raichu," the electric mouse said reassuringly.

Ky sighed. 'This is it,' he thought to himself. In his head, he thought up a battle plan as fast as he could. 'What I know is that the Spinirak's String Shot will lower Little Guy's speed. In that case, the first attack needs to be as quick as possible.'
"Little Guy, I'm going to give you a boost," Ky whispered as he lowered himself into a push-off position ((like what you'd see an Olympic sprinter start off with)). "On my word Little Guy," Ky instructed. When Ky looked for understanding, Little Guy gave a nod. "PECK!" Ky shouted as he dove forward, feeling Little Guy push off at the last second before Ky ate some dirt. Spitting the dirt out, Ky watched Little Guy soar through the air at the Spinirak, hoping that he'd connect.

"What! Spinarak move!" Spinarak jumped up into the air, but was cliped by natu's peck attack. As she spun around in the air, she regained her balance and landed asfly on a tree branch. Spinarak, Poison sting!" Spinarak opened her jaws and a wave of needles fired out directly at natu. With a launch like that, Natu should have some trouble getting back in controll of the boost...

"Hey Fang, hey Shocker!" Mitsu said with a smile. She had no doubt of who they were. "I'm guessing Kasiya's nearby then right?" she asked. Sapphire had made his way back and relaxed next to Mitsu once more. Nightmare too seemed happy upon spotting the three familiar figures. He gave another happy roar, this time it wasn't so loud.
Mitsu made an attempt to stand, but to no success. Her legs wobbled before giving out. She sat down again. "Gah, I still can't walk," she said moodily. Her stomach growled slightly. "And the fact that I'm hunrgy doesn't help." Mitsu looked up to see Kasiya in the distance, she waved to the trainer and the girl who followed behind. Sapphire's ears perked up upon seeing a Houndour, but he made no signs of getting up to greet the Pokemon.

Just as Toph predicted the Mankey was able to dodge most of all the attacks only being clipped at times. However the poison was doing it's damage that Queenys attacks were not doing. Unfortunatly the Nidoran herself was getting a bit tired from trying to keep up with the Mankey. The Mankey was also landing blows on the Nidoran and both of them were close to reaching there limits. Both of the pokemon stopped after one exchange panting in order to get there breath. You could see some bruises starting to form on her blue skin. The Mankey was painting and could hardly hold itself up anymore due to the damage that the poison was doing and the bruises on its legs from where Queeny had managed to hit it a few times. The next pass between them would be the last one.
As if there was something that told them to go both of them took off at each other one last time. Queeny launched a Tackle attack with all the strenght she had left. The Mankey attacked with another Low Kick also coming at him the all of its left over strength. Both of the pokemon clashed hitting each other head on. The Mankey flew back and so did Queeny each of them landing on their back and neither of them getting up.
Feeling that Queeny was done for Toph recalled the Nidoran. Jake on the other side did the same. "Storm its your turn." She said motioning for the Squirtle to go out there. The small pokemon nodded and jumped out ready to take on whatever was thrown agains't it. Across from her Jake tossed out another pokeball revealing what appeared to be a moving smelly blob. Once the smell hit Toph's nose she made a sound opf annoyance and put her hand over her nose. Edge did the same as he watched the other pokemon with distaste.

Their brunch was pretty uneventful, even with Bagon's continuous (and failed) attempts at flying. The little dragon seemed undeterred by her failures, if anything they only made her more determined to accomplish her goal. Having never really read much about Dragon-type Pokemon, Jaeshan could only shake his head and sigh, wondering that if she tried hard enough, someday some divine intervention would occur, and she'd sprout wings. Little did the trainer know what evolutions were in store for the young dragon, even though it would still be a while yet.
Thud. Bagon landed unceremoniously on the ground, giving a little snort of annoyance. A few embers escaped her mouth, and she held out her stubby little arms for Jaeshan to lift her up again. "Could you please just finish eating? Everyone is waiting for you," Jaeshan told her as he sat her down on the table. Bagon gave a toothy grin, and began to chomp away noisily at her food.

Ky gritted his teeth when he saw that Little Guy's attack didn't hit as solidly as he had hoped. Little Guy, realizing that he was not going to stop until he hit the ground, turned around and frantically flapped to regain his control in the air, which was made much more difficult from the speed he had aquired. Unfortunately as he did this, he was met with the wave of needles hitting his chest and wings, causing him to lose control, fall, and tumble across the forest floor to a halt. Little Guy slowly got up and scanned the surroundings. To his relief, he felt no poison-like effects. Up on the tree, he found the Spinirak. 'He's going to need more momentum before he can use Peck again,' Ky thought. "Little Guy, use Leer!" Little Guy glared at the Spinirak's many eyes.

The noise going on in the pokemon center was to much to sleep through anymore. Yawning Dante pushed himself up and streching a bit looking around the busy pokemon center he noticed that Jaeshan wasn't there anymore. Bahamut was sleeping next to his stuff her levitate ability keeping her floating in the air dispite the fact that her wings werent flapping. Pushing himself up remembering just in time that he was still in a skirt he grabbed his stuff so that no one would steal it and writting a small note on sticky tape and sticking it to Keegan's head informing him that he was either eatting breakfast or at the gym. He left and headed over to the caffiteria Bahamut was being dragged by her tail still asleep. Taking his Pokeballs from the counter befor he headed into the caffiteria. Looking around he spotted Jaeshan, shrugging he went over to the table and smiled at him. "Good morning, or maybe good afternoon. Do you mind if I sit with you?" He asked as nicely as he could in his female voice.

"Uh," Jaeshan checked his watch, "it's still morning." He nodded, raising his glass of orange juice. "Go ahead. No, not you, Bagon. You should sit down and eat, otherwise I'm going to give your bowl to Mightyena." Bagon gave an unhappy sigh, for she'd been preparing to launch herself off the end of the table once more, and sat back down. She stuffed a piece of Pokemon food into her mouth, and crunched loudly, now giving the evil eye to Dante for no reason whatsoever. "So, did you sleep well?" Jaeshan asked, trying to be polite.
