The man laughed. He laughed hard. "Avoid passion and attachment?! Then you lose touch with everything you wish to protect! You cant be a real jedi. A real Jedi has passion, is attached to things. You're about as smart as the Jedi Order that abandoned this temple long ago." He looked about the temple and his voice became serious again. " If The Jedi were to avoid attachment, then why do you seem to think that the Jedi can own something? They can not own this cave. And no one else wanted this cave. So I took it. It is mine now. And unless you wish to start something about it, then I suggest you leave." Kenji's face was Hard as he stared at Journeyman, full of Stern annoyance.

"You did not answer my question. Why do you dislike the Jedi. You can take my words any way you want but with a closed mind you can not hope to understand them."
Journeyman stood as he had before. He had come here for a purpose and would not leave until it had been solved.
My second trial... The Trail of Spirit
"If you can not be reasoned with then strike me. Be just as arrogant and stuck up as those you dislike and strike me..."

"I dont have to answer jack to you. I'm the elder here, and I'm the man with the land claim that you seem intent on breaking! And if anything, you're the fool with a closed mind! Just look at you! You think you're better than an old Ice Miner who's protecting whats his, just because you got some inhuman powers! "Oh, I'm gonna take this all in stride because his mind is closed and he's just an ignorant old colonist!" Damn dumb kids!" The Old man walked up to Journeyman and promptly kicked him in the groin. "Thats something someone should have done to you years ago." The old man chuckled.

"If yu are done then I will be back to what I was doing," Journeyman took the hit, groaning slighlty. How common for a lowly ice miner to hit below the belt.
As quickly as he thought it, Journeyman stopped. He was being childish by throwing around names.
"I have a mission and will not leave until it is complete, with all due respect."

"Your Mission has been compromised." The old man said. "You've failed. Now scram, before I have to kick your a**."

"If you offer no alternative then I guess I must accept," Journeyman nodded. "Lay hand on me and break my body. It will bring you neither joy nor wealth. Work with me and we can reach an agreement with mutual gain."
Journeyman set himself to take the blows. Already he was calling on the force to guide him and set him free. Let this man do his worst. Journeyman was to be reborn.

Kenji looked at the man and shook his head. "Is this what happens when you dont have a lightsaber to do your talking for you? You give in and surrender?" The man walked over to some crystal growths and snapped off a trio of them. He dropped the crystals before the fellow. "See if you can make a lightsaber out of those. You have three days. On the third day, Lightsaber or not, I will come back here and kill you. You might want to make full use of your time." With that, Kenji donned his facial protection and turned to go back into the driving snow.

"Thank you," Journeyman accepted the gift. How strange that this man would select the crystals for him. He felt their calling and knew they would serve hime well.
The Jedi Forge would take a month to construct, My first took me three weeks, My second was filled with hatred and took a week to create, This one will be simple, a plain weapon for a humble Jedi, It could be made in two days like during the Clone Wars.
Journeyman took the parts he had prepared from before and set them on the ground. Sitting gently down as well he began to focus, tuning the parts and the crystals to form the lightsaber.

Hovering into the air, the new hilt staid in place two feet in front of him. Over several long minutes he began to attach the focusing lense. He tuned it with the force over several more minutes. Then he began to work on his main crystal. He sensed it was stronger than the others.
Adjust its presence and force ability to fit mine, let it become what I need.
Journeyman knew he would have to sit here for nearly half a day working just this crystal.

"We should make haste," Vera said , "It is unwise to stay anywhere in the open too long." She moved closer to Iria and spoke quietly to her, "And there are important matters we need to discuss as well."

"I agree," Iria said to Vera. "Master Kalnar, do you feel well?"
"Certainly," Kalnar said. "I shall be fine," he added, giving the Mon Cal equivalent of a kind smile.
Within moments, Kalnar gently led the group to the apartment he mentioned.
"Yes, this will do nicely," the Mon Cal stated. "Now, I need to ask Guntehr something,"
"Yes, Master?" the boy asked.
"Gunther, you seemed to be lost in thought earlier," Kalnar asked as much as stated.
"My apologies, Master." Gunther said. Looking through a viewport in the apartment, he pointed roughly in Naboo's general direction in the sky. "For a moment, I thought that Freya was in danger,"
Kalnar then looked as though he were deep in thought, settling in a nearby chair. "A possible future, young padawan." He began. After a pause, he said, "Thankfully, it appears the window for the darkest outcome for her has allready passed. Your sister is cunning and resourceful,"
Iria looked to the two. It was concern for his sister, then, she reasoned. Afterwards, she then looked to Vera. "You said there are matters you wished to discuss?"

Vera nodded, a smile returning to her lips. Jolee was already making herself comfortable and seemed content with a chance to rest her feet. Vera indicated the older woman with a nod in her direction. "Jolee has declared that my training is complete. And also, she feels that she is unfit to become your master, as your mother requested, and entrusted me with your continued training. If you would allow it, I will become your master and help you reach knighthood."

Iria's eyes lit up as Vera gave her the news. She looked from Vera to Jolee, and back again. "I would be honored if you would, please," she said.

Vera's smile broadened, showing her seemingly flawless teeth. "The honor is mine, Iria." She gave her new Page an affectionate squuze on the shoulder before turning to look at Kelnar. "I need to build a new lightsaber," she announced to no one in particular, "but besides that we need to decide our next move. We can't keep running forever. Or rather, to do so would be a fairly meager existance. It's time we decide on affirmative action to take."

Leo disembarked from the ancient Action VI with disgust, the ship should have been sent to the scrap yard years ago. He had contemplated seizing control of the ship by influencing the weak minded captain, but after take off, he just wanted to be far from the ship. He stepped off and surveyed his surroundings, the Theed Spacesport laid out in front of him. He drew in a deep breath, glad to be free from the compressed air and taking in pure enough oxygen. As he walked along to find a taxi to the city, many who were just passing by started to shrink away from him, whether because of his cold demeanor or perhaps because of the two lightsabers hanging from his belt. He smiled, giving him a crazed look as he boarded an air taxi, driven by a diminutive alien with skin of a blue hue. He stuttered nervously as he spoke and tried to smile, but formed a grimace such as those seen on condemned prisoners.
"W-w-where t-to s-suh?"
"Triumphal Arch. And be quick about it."
Leo's voice was stone cold, no pun intended. The driver nodded ferociously and the air taxi shot forward with reckless speed, but then slowed to a regular speed as the driver regained his wits.
"S-so m-mistuh, ya here f-for p-pleezure or beez-ness? Cuz n-not m-many p-people like you come roun' here."
There was silence after that, right up until the air taxi landed and Leo handed the driver a few credits. The driver was about to drive off when Leo answered.
"I'm here for both I suppose, but you won't be around to see the fruits of my labor."
The driver merely nodded and drove off, thankful to be free of such a horrible customer. He flew his air taxi about fifty feet into the air and set the autopilot, but then something curious happened. He felt himself being strangled and lifted higher into the air, off the seat of his air taxi. The taxi's autopilot activated and the vehicle took off, leaving the driver floating in midair. And then, he fell fifty feet and died on impact, making a sickening plop sound.
Leo turned away from the sight and walked away, his spirits a little higher. I told you, he though.
