"I had wanted to look around inside," Nina said, "although I doubt there's much worth looking at, considering the amount of damage that the building incurred..." Her gaze shifted to Sabrina, who still seemed to be in shock.

"There they are!!" Giovanni roared, pointing out of the window and standing out of his chair. The helicopter stalled for a moment, hovering in its position above the newly destroyed Five Island base. He walked over to his pedestal, along with Rena and Kilik. The man watched as the pilot pressed a few buttons. The top of the helicopter opened and the stand began to rise itself, filling in the gap. "I must commend your abilities as trainers!" Giovanni laughed.
Kilik stood next to the head Rocket, looking down at the group of trainers. They were right. It's the same kids from Vermillion City...and that girl! His eyes stared directly at Nina. The boy gripped the bars tightly as his eyes continued to cut into the girl.

Mitsu whipped around upon hearing a stong voice. It was the boy from Vermillion and Giovanni as well. She hadn't expected Giovanni himself to come to say the least. She remained silent her eyes staring up at the helicopter. I didn't think Giovanni himself would actually come. This should prove to be interesting.

Nina whirled around as well, and her eyes locked onto the helicopter. "If that's Giovanni..." she started, "then... Kilik...?" She didn't really finish her sentence.
At the mention of Kilik's name, Sabrina seemed to snap out of the shocked state that she was in. Whirling around as her sister had done, she stared at the helicopter. "Oh, this is amazing," she said sarcastically.

"Do you know how much money was invested in that base?!" Rena growled, stomping her foot on the metal pad.
"It's not a matter of the money. I could always rebuild it," Giovanni laughed. "So, do what do I owe the pleasure of you children invading my property?"
Kilik continued to stare at Nina, his eyes widened and he shut his eyes. The boy clasped his hands to his head. He gritted his teeth together, trying to hold back a cry. I'm...starting to remember...She...didn't...!!

"I believe you owe us my friend back!" Nina shouted at the Rocket, not intimidated by him in the least. "Undo whatever the hell it is you did to him right now, before I personally go to Viridian and destroy your Gym!"

"Destroy my Gym?" Giovanni gave another chuckle, "You honestly think I'd care?" The man held up a Pokeball, "I already have all I need. You are all just stepping stones on my way to glory!"
Kilik kneeled down, holding his head and he opened his eyes. His hands were shaking furiously and sweat was beading on his forehead. "She didn't..." he whispered.

Mitsu eyed the boy. What's wrong with him? She thought to herself. She stared up at the helicopter wondering what Giovanni was really capable of. Maybe he's remembering Nina?

Nina stared at Giovanni for a moment. Her pupils met with his, and her voice's tone changed a bit. "Yes... your path to glory?" she asked dully. "Team Rocket is your path to glory... The team that your mother made. The team that your mother made. The team that your stupid, dead mother made!" she screamed. "Look at how badly she FAILED! Her team will be destroyed by a bunch of kids!" Nina's nostrils flared in anger.

"Destroyed...by CHILDREN?! The day that Team Rocket falls to a brat like you is the day I die!" Giovanni roared, throwing the Pokeball in his hand to the ground. From the bright light revealed a large, purple Pokemon. It had a single horn in the middle of its head. It unleashed a mighty roar from its gut. "Nidoking!! Earthquake!"
I have to defend our Leader! "All righty, Pidgeot!" she threw her Pokeball out, and from the light flashed out a bird with magnificent wings and a flowing mane of feathers.
Kilik grabbed a Pokeball from his belt and lifted it up. However, he hesitated to throw it. I...can't hurt...Nina... His grip on the ball tightened.

Nina knew that she didn't stand a chance against the Gym Leader, although she threw a Pokeball out anyway. "Mihoshi!" she cried, as the Togetic was released from its Pokeball. "Use a Mirror Move! Send an Earthquake back at the Nidoking!" While Togetic was noticeably weaker than the Nidoking, she flew up into the air and came diving back down, slamming her fist into the ground, creating a second earthquake attack that was sent toward Nidoking.
Sabrina flung a Pokeball out as well. "Oracle!" she said, "use Psychic to hold Nidoking in place! Don't let him move!"
"With pleasure," the Alakazam replied. She grinned, and pointed the spoons she held in her hands toward Nidoking, which caused its body to produce a multicolored aura around it. It was unable to move.

Dante nodded and smiled at his mom. "Thanks." He said playing with his new shortened bangs which fell just above his eyes now. "Thanks for the haircut to mom."
Violet only smiled at her son and put the sisors away. "Its not a problem. Now I will go get one of the doctors and get you some new clothes. Then lets see if I drop you off somewhere." She finished with a smile and left the room.
Meowth and Kenny came over to there wounded trainer and ploped down next to him. "Now that your hair looks better we can get ready to go."
"I still have to see the doctor Meowth." Dante said calmly.
"Yeah well after that you tell your mom that you are going to the Desert all right?"
"The desert?" Dante asked somewhat confused.
"Yeah we still need to get revenge on that Trapinch!" Meowth said determendly.
"Oh a Trapinch, those evolve into teh powerful Flygon." Violet said as she walked into the room with the doctor behind her and some new clothes under her arm.

"Nidoking..." Giovanni growled, casting a gaze down to the trainers.
"Pidgeot!" Rena commanded, pointing at the Nidoking, "Take the Psychic attack from the Alakazam! Protect it!" Pidgeot flew towards the Ground Pokemon, but felt it was a little to late.
"Golem!" the Gym Leader barked, throwing another Pokeball. "Use Rollout and knock that Alakazam out of focus!" A large Rock-type appeared on the battle field, then tucked itself into its insides and rolled toward the Psychic-type. Nidoking took the damage from the weak Earthquake and began to fight off the Psychic binds.
Kilik looked at the battle, holding his Koffing's Pokeball tightly. All those Pokemon...are much stronger than mine. I can't...I can't battle... His eyes shook a little and his gaze turned to Nina.

"Nina!" Sabrina said to her sister, after looking to the Golem. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Why, I do believe I am," Nina said with a grin. Both she and her sister released one more Pokemon each. "Cupcake!" Nina said. "Blast that Golem with a Surf attack, and aim for the Nidoking after that!
"Regal, I want you to do the same thing! Hurry!"
Both Cupcake and Regal did as they were told. They each summoned a large wave of water and unleashed it in the direction of the Golem.
"Oracle! Keep that Nidoking in place as long as you can!" the Gym Leader called.

"I don't think so!!" Rena cried out, throwing Electabuzz's Pokeball to the field. "Protect the party! Use Light Screen!" A cry came from the yellow Pokemon. It lifted its hands up and created a large, pink barrier around himself and the Golem. The Rock-Type stopped as to not hit its partner in crime. The waves collided with the barrier, pushing Electabuzz to is limits. "Kilik!" Rena said, "You have to help us!"
"I can't...I won't..." he stood up, continuing to look down at Nina, "Not if it means hurting them!"
"What nonsense do you speak!" Giovanni turned his attention to the young Rocket, "Hurting them!? You knew full well this is Team Rocket and these are our duties!" His attention turned back to the battle. "Golem! Roll around Electabuzz and hit that Alakazam!"
Electabuzz looked at its partner, stepping foreward somewhat. He let the barrier go as the water disappeared. "Now, Electabuzz! Attack that Azumarrill with Thunderpunch!!"
