*She smiles and runs her hand through her brown locks in a weak effort to hide the slight blush on her cheeks.*

"Normally I don't go for shorter hair, but I figure it's just hair, it'll grow back soon."

*Antoni chuckles at the situaion and then shakes his head with a perplexed look.*

Heh...its no big deal...I mean, I do it all the time but since I haven't been around much in almost 4 years I could see it being something "new".

*Antoni chuckles at the vain attempt to cover the blushing and lets a laugh out.*

Oh ho ho! What's this? Is the ever calm and reserved Nikki blushing? Whatever have I done? I have given away the fact that you DO like being complimented! Don't worry...I mean...there's nothing wrong with showing your emotions sometimes!

*He then stands up and dances in a circle and holds the "V" sign up*

*Antoni nods mostly to himself. It was obvious that this was killing Rhodes but he was told not to intervene. He wrestled and wrestled with this before he gently approached Rhodes and spoke softly to her*

*To the naked eye, it would appear as though Antoni had gotten up to look over Rhodes's shoulder at her manuscripts and he attempted to make this more feasible.*

Hmm...that's some interesting language...it looks like it might make my head explode if I read it too much.

*He then swiftly turns and sets his keister down in the chair where he was previously stationed.*

Keep up the good work Rhodes! You CAN do it.

Ksi watches his pupil with careful consideration. After a moment, he stops her.

Ah, you're doing good, but let me give you another tip. When you strike, you need to be slicing with your blade, even if you're going to try to sever cleanly through. Thus, arc your blade a bit, and lean into the stroke some. Just as if you were cutting through a leg of ham or something, you want to slice in, and pull the stroke forward and through.

As Ksi speaks, he slowly demonstrates what he means with his own sword. Synge will notice that he isn't simply swinging the blade out in front of him from side to side with the tip of the blade straight out. It's not like a chopping motion, similar to a helicopter blade or anything. Rather, the tip of his blade was trailing away from the stroke, as if he were slicing the throat with the razor sharp edge of the blade, and then severing cleanly through the base, in one fluid motion.

Ah, you see? Now please, continue.

He steps back and sheaths his sword. He then looks around to see if Becca had followed them out as he had expected. A moment later, he returns his focus to Synge.

Good, good. Now faster, faster! Maintain accuracy, and then increase the speed of your stroke. Continue to do this until you can strike with lethal speed and accuracy.

*She blushes even more now that attention has been called to it.*

"Yes... Nikki doesn't take compliments well."

*She watches you dance in circles and bursts out laughing.*

Red looked around dazed, completely forgetting what she was talking about, but seeing as everyone seemed to be occupied with other things she moved off to the door.

Finally remembering Ksi mentioning that he was ready for the leassen she quickly stepped outside. Noticing Ksi was with someone else she stayed back a good distance and just watched the scene unfold.

*Antoni laughs as you laugh. He sits down and smiles.

Nikki appears to speak in third person as well

*Antoni sees Rhodes get up, at first he panicked but then he centered himself. He spoke up a little as he watched you climb the stairs*

Hey Rhodes! Since you know what bro was doing, catch me later, I have a question for you.

*He watched as Rhodes headed out the door and cocked his head sideways a bit*

((Yessir, still got the couches...and even if there weren't you could say there are and I don't think anyone else would care. ))

*Antoni offers nod to the man, he recalled this man who gave him such a scare earlier.*

Ksi senses Red's present, and looks over. Seeing her, he smiles and waves her over.

*Synge stops and listens carefully to what Ksi is telling her and makes sure to watch every detail of his demonstration. She nods as she comes to understand what he is saying. When told to, she continues practicing. Copying the example she was given she concentrates hard on acheiving the slicing motion in one fluid motion. It definitely isn't easy, and it shows that she is having some difficulty. However, she continues to practice in order to increase her speed and accuracy as requested*
