There was no need to argue. Getting to the car, he pushed Raki inside and settled in the driver's seat. "Elsa, get in!" he shouted over the bullets. "We must escape quickly!" He started the car and would only leave once she got in. He then remembered that he had never answered Rin. Rin, I've got a piece of the arcade and will be back soon.

Elsa was too busy making sure to block all of the bullets but she could feel the spell wearing off already, she hadn't practiced this spell very much and her lack of use for the spell was starting to show. She winced at the pain of dark welts and bruises appearing all over her body but the bullets hadn't pierced her yet. She heard Daniel's voice and quickly threw herself inside, curling up on the back seat so she had more protection against the bullets besides the glass. "Go go!!" she shouted as she settled in the back seat.

Daniel pressed his foot on the gas and the car sped forward. Normally, he would have been considerate of traffic laws, but preserving their lives was more important! Only after the gunshots stopped did he slow down and follow the flow of traffic. "Just what were you two doing back there? I thought I told you to stay put!" he scolded them, glancing at them through a mirror. He was suddenly filled with a sense of dread. "Was... was there anyone else with you?"

Elsa tried to catch her breath and felt relief that they were out of the war zone. Her arm started to sting where she engraved the letters for her blood spell. "Hey, blame spy boy over here!! He's the one who ran out after you left the house! I followed him to see where he would go!" she snapped back, definitely in no mood to play around as the cuts on her arm started to turn a little pink. "No, there was nobody else with me, nobody followed us either. I made sure."

"Raki, explain," Daniel ordered sternly. If he wasn't driving, he would have glared at the boy. Because of Raki's foolish actions, not only had he nearly lost his grandson for a second time, but Elsa's life had been endangered as well! "Do you not value your life? Or Elsa's? What is the matter with you lately? Ever since we found out about Asher, you have become rather immature and reckless! Not to mention you're almost always out until very late at night! What happened?"Raki sniffled, the reality of almost having been the cause of his grandfather's death overtaking him. He nearly wanted to spill everything, but he couldn't do that. Letting them know would ruin all the plans he had. Those were too important, as he didn't know what they planned to do with his secrets. Besides that, he couldn't speak anyway.

Elsa couldn't believe Raki was just going to sit there and say nothing, after everything that had happened! She balled up her fist as tight as she could and punched him square in the nose. "How DARE you!!?? Do you understand what just happened!? You don't have any respect for anyone else's life but your own!! What if I had been Rin? Or Asher!? What if Asher followed you and died because of your actions!?!" She screamed, continuing to punch him everywhere as she didn't pay attention to what she was punching on his body.

As Elsa had punched him over and over, Raki tried to hold back the cries of pain, though a few did escape. His nose was bleeding and he just knew he would be covered in bruises by the time they got home. The pain nearly caused him to just tell them everything, but the secrets were too important. He had to think of some excuse! He had to stick to his mission!"Elsa, stop! Hurting him won't make him speak!" Daniel objected, turning his head back momentarily. "We'll question him once we return home. Raki, until then, think about what you've done." He refocused on the traffic. The fact that the arcade had burned down was already bad enough, but now there had been an ambush and, somehow, Raki's foolishness contributed to the near-disaster. Something had to be done, he knew.

Elsa tired herself out anyways, between the blood spell and nearly punching Raki to death. She allowed herself to rest on remainder of the car ride. Once they arrived back at the house Elsa was the first to get out of the car, she didn't want to be around Raki any longer than needed.Rin had been relieved when she finally received the message back from Daniel but she had been worried ever since. Pacing the living room back and forth until the door opened and her sister walked in. "Elsa!!" she said worriedly, seeing the welts and bruises all over her body. "What happened, are you okay!?" she asked, continuing to worry especially when she saw the word carved into her arm. She heard the door open once more and saw Daniel walk in. "What happened, was someone shooting at you guys!?"Leo had been in the living room also, bored to tears and worrying about everyone that had left. He was relieved to hear Elsa return but at the mention of someone shooting at them, Leo became attentive. He would have started throwing questions at them also but Rin was worrying enough for everyone.

Daniel sighed, unconsciously clutching the piece of arcade in his hand. "There had been an ambush. See, this is why I was supposed to go alone," he said, emphasizing the last word and glancing at Raki. "I'll get the first aid kit. Please rest, you two." He left the room to look for said kit, reminding himself to buy some more supplies sometime soon.Asher had been waiting with Leo, simply keeping him company, but felt his blood boil when he saw Raki, looking as if he was barely alive. "What happened?!" he demanded, rushing to his biological brother and checking him over. "Dammit, Raki, who hurt you?!" His brother didn't answer, seeming to prefer sniffling and wallowing in what looked like self-pity.

Elsa took her sister's hands in her own when he heard Asher's questioning behind her. "I punched him." she said bluntly and suddenly she could see everyone's eyes on her, not that she cared. It was odd that everyone would be surprised at her, or Rin at least. It wasn't in Elsa's nature to not punch someone. "Serves him right for trying to get me killed. He ran out when Daniel left and when he led me to the arcade there was an ambush. There were bullets flying everywhere." she turned her cold gaze at Raki once more. "Your lucky I can perform blood spells, if I hadn't done that you would have been very hurt!" She said sternly.

Asher looked like he was about to go violent, so Raki had to stop him. "It's fine, Brother. I did deserve it," he said sadly. Such an amateur mistake... It seemed that Raki had been making a lot of those lately. How could he expect to complete his mission like this? It's barely even started, now that he thought about it!Daniel returned with the first aid kit, approaching Elsa first. He opened the box and pulled out some ointment for the blood spell and the welts. "Thank you, Elsa, for your protection," he said as he applied the ointment to her wounds.

Elsa was actually quite surprised to hear Raki actually admit that what he did was reckless, she expected him to deny the whole thing and tell him that she beat him for no reason. She didn't say another word to him. Elsa sat down on a couch and let Daniel help her wounds, hissing at the sudden sting of the ointment. "Y-yeah....don't mention it." she said softly but soon his touch was a little too much to bear. "I-it's okay, Just leave the bandages with me and I'll wrap my arm a little later. The welts and bruises will heal in time." she said softly, her arm twitching slightly.

Daniel left the bandages on the table and then moved on to his wounded grandson. He gave him a disappointed expression before he started spreading ointment. Raki had a lot of explaining to do, though it seemed that he was in no condition to say anything. At least he heard the boy admit that he had been careless, though he wasn't sure if that had been any reason to cry. Normally, Raki would simply shrug it all off. Strange...

Leo felt bad for what had happened and was actually glad that he stayed behind instead of going with them. "Will you be okay Elsa?" he asked, hoping she wasn't hurt too bad, but he was curious about the blood spells she worked. Maybe there was some way for her to work those spells without hurting herself.Elsa gave a soft sigh as she allowed the ointment to dry. "I'm okay Leo, thank you." she said softly, letting her sister bandage her arm so it would heal a little faster. Rin was too busy to scold anyone much less pay attention to the conversation at hand, but she understood what had happened. She finished wrapping Elsa's arm and turned toward Daniel. "I don't want to sound greedy Daniel...but....did you manage to get something from the arcade?" She hoped she wasn't sounding self centered.

"Yes, I have something," Daniel said, though he was still busy tending to Raki's wounds. Once he was finished, he fished the arcade piece out of his pocket. "This was near where the entrance should be, so it should have some memories of everyone who entered the arcade." He held it out for Rin, allowing her to decide whether or not she wanted to see any visions at the moment.
