"Um," he had to think. Kashi wouldn't call himself a vegetarian, he did eat meat, but not as often as Tsume. "I guess..." what did he want? "We could eat..." he glanced around the shops, hoping something would catch his attention. "Sausages?" and pointed to the hot links being placed between a long roll of bread. He wasn't particularly craving meat, but he hadn't had it in a while, it was best to eat it when he wasn't craving it. There was a visible line of books across the floor of the study, Nayiin on one side, pouting and Elliot on the other, tense with caution and stress. The knock made him turn, eyes lingering on the immobile woman before turning to his lover which stood in the doorway, a smile of relief showing on his features. "not at all, come in, please." and looked at the clock. "Oh, so it is lunch time," the prince stood, cautiously watching the opposing noble who stood as well. "I was getting famished, all this proof-reading and explanation of laws. Who knew one law for a city could affect the entire country." she said in awe. "i do wonder what is for lunch, though." brown eyes glanced over at the image. "Oh, for your little sister's storybook." "that looks lovely." and moved before Nayiin could get close. "I'm sure she'll love it. Come, let's go get lunch. I could use the break."

Tsume nodded, "they smell good, don't they? we should get some fruit and veggetables, though. add a little crunch to the meal." he walked over to get in line for the sausages and looked around for a place to buy said extras. "have you ever had cooked peppers on a sausage? it's delicious." The barrior between the two combined with the looks on their faces were hilarious. Leo had a hard time not laughing out loud, but Elliot's obvious relief made his chest burn a little and he smiled back, laughter forgotten. "Yes, running a country is a difficult task, one that Elliot takes on quite admirably. Thank you, i was thinking of showing it to her during a break from her classes." he rolled it back up and moved to Elliot's side, "i believe the chef is going to cook up something special. he was in such a good mood when i visited him this morning." the man had been ecstatic, and speaking of which, Leo was going to need more snacks after lunch. he'd eaten all the others long ago. they were just too delicious! they were heading down towards the dinning room when Leo thought of something, "Will there be anyone else joining us for lunch, Elliot? Tsume is in the city with Kashi. will the others be eating by themselves?"

"No I haven't. I've never been assigned to cooking. The most I've done is make tea or coffee and bring out meals on the carts." he explained. "And the food stalls are the next road over, away from the shops. I must admit, making a stand for sausages is a brilliant idea since you have no other food to compete with, or not many." "You're very talented at drawing. That's a very realistic reindeer." The noble complimented, walking out, not pleased that the prince was using this foreign princess as a barrier. She hadn't done anything wrong, nothing she considered wrong. They were to be married, she had every right to try and place a kiss on him. It was going to be a chaste kiss. "he is always in a good mood, especially recently." Elliot agreed, listening to the question. "Well, depending on the girls' schedule, they may actually have lunch a little later then us, then Father eats lunch whenever he prefers." "But we all had breakfast together." "As a mere formality regarding you." The words were slightly more poisonous then he intended, but she silenced and looked away. "It will just be us three as far as I'm aware."

Tsume smiled, "we don't have the stuff for it now, but remind me to make it for you sometime. it's delicious." they were at the front and he ordered two, paying for them himself before handing one to Kashi. "my treat, let's go find a perch and eat, ok?" Leo didn't need Nix's abilities to know something big happened between the two. "ah, well. it cannot be helped, i guess. thank you, by the way. i've always liked drawing, i'm glad that you think i'm good at it." he smiled sweetly at her, "oh, i think i smell lunch." his attention was immediately diverted and he turned his head to sniff at the air, "and it smells amazing. i'm so glad i don't get sick anymore, it was such a waste to throw up all that good food." he sides softly and his stomach growled, making him laugh, "i've never been so hungry in my life! and that's saying something, considering," he glanced at Elliot, knowing the prince would know his meaning but not the little noble girl.

Kashi looked at the sausage curiously, hare stomach warning him that it wouldn't stomach it if he swallowed. But, but he couldn't go back on his word now. "Y-You shouldn't have paid." he murmured, following the wolf and taking a bite. His entire body held two reactions. One, spit it out and hang yourself for eating another animal. Two, take another bite. Needless to say he went with the latter option before sitting on a wall with Tsume, a lower tier of the town on the other side. Such was the life of living on a mountain. "Thank you." he murmured while chewing Nayiin smiled "You should teach me how to draw so well. You are truly a master." and paused, watching teh other hungrily sniff the air like a dog before hearing that unlady like growl of the stomach. "Get sick?" she questioned, wanting to interrupt the moment of familiarity this foreigner was sharing with her prince again. "Well then we should hurry less the food decide to run off, Miss Lily." and opened the door for both ladies to enter, lunch spread out decoratively, plates already filled. A stew it appeared, placed over a healthy serving of mashed potatoes. Potatoes could be found everywhere in these mountains.

Tsume gently patted Kashi's shoulder, "You're welcome, my friend." they were simple words, but he meant them with all of his being. Kashi truly was his friend, and for Tsume, once you become his friend you are family for life. "it's nice to share a quiet meal between friends for once, don't you think? though we did have breakfast this morning." Leo smiled, "I can try to give you lessons if you wish to learn. though a fine lady such as yourself surely knows how to draw." he looked at the spread and sighed happily. he felt like he'd just gone to heaven. "Mmm, yes. it seems that there was a bit of something upsetting my stomach a little while ago, but it has passed since we returned here. Now i may eat to my liking without worry for making myself ill. One forgets the wonders of food when it is denied you for so long." though it wasn't just his pregnancy he was speaking of. he sat down to his plate and looked at the stew. to his slight horror there was fish and various other meats within. He would have to thank the chef for making hearty food to help the baby, but he didn't think he should test the waters. "here you go-" he began to spoon his meat into Elliot's bowl without thinking.

The hare smiled, continuing to eat in silence, but it wasn't an awkward silence, in fact it was very comfortable. Kashi had never been in such a lovely silence where one wasn't required to talk to the other but just to enjoy the other's company. It was delightfully foreign and he just smiled at it all. "I like it. It's always noisy back at the castle." and finished the meal, licking the breadcrumbs from his fingers. Apparently he'd been craving meat more then he'd expected. Nayiin giggled. "Hardly as good as you, Miss Lily." and sat down politely at the table on the other side of Elliot. It seemed that the prince, despite fearing her (not that she could see why) was still being a gentleman. "But upsetting your stomach? Oh dear, is there something you do not like?" Lily was a little on the pudgy side, what food didn't the hog like? Elliot began to eat the stew, famished from the work and having to tolerate Nayiin. "So Miss Nayiin do you have any questions on," he paused before looking back at the fish and a selected few foods being placed into his bowl. "No, No Miss Lily." and paused her hand with his own. "Try a little bit. Just a little, you need it." The baby needed it, even if it was just a bite no larger then the nail on Leo's pinky he needed a bite. "Just a little bit. I'll take majority but please, just a little bit." Nayiin frowned. "Are you a vegetarian, Miss Lily? I heard it was rude to deny the food of the family that hosts you." "Miss Nayiin." Elliot warned, silver eyes turning to her, making her shrink slightly.

Tsume nodded, "yes, back in Falia too. there meals are more a comunity thing. of course you can eat by yourself in your home, but heaven forbid you do so for more than a few days at a time! you'll have neighbors springing in at any given moment to make sure you're ok." he rolled his eyes, "though i might have been a special case considering...they gave me two days at most before they drug me out. but they mean well, i'll admit, it helped me move forward a lot quicker." he finished his own meal and pushed off the wall. "now, time for some wandering. where to first, oh leader mine?" Lewis pouted a little, but he knew why Elliot was making him eat some of the meat. "Well fine, here. i'll leave these three chunks in. happy?" he felt a slight tick in his temple at the woman's words and turned towards her, his smile as sweet as ever. "Is it not also rude to serve a guest food their body cannot digest properly?" he asked pleasantly enough, but there was a hint of venom within. "Then again, i did not deny the dish, now did i? only the part of which i have difficulty eating, therefore my decorum was correct. Forgive me, Miss Nayiin, but is it not also rude to point out the flaws in another? Do you hear me comment upon your being overly judgemental, quick to jump to conclusions and a land grubbing fool who thinks she's entitled to the prince simply because of who her father is?" he cocked his head to the side, the various decorations holding his hair back clinking together softly, "indeed you do not for such words, though the truth, would be rather uncalled for, don't you think?" he lowered his spoon into the stew and lifted up his first bite. he should have known that it would contain the largest piece of fish left. well, damn he thought to himself before delicately eating it. "but do not take my saying such things as an insult, my dear. i'm sure that somewhere deep inside you've a sweet spirit."

Kashi giggled at this. "A very special case indeed, but such large gatherings but be enjoyable at times too, Tsume. Eating by yourself can't always be fun." Kashi would very much prefer eating with at least one other person. Eating alone felt to sad in that place and even worse with Ipo. Yet it didn't help that people preferred Ipo over him, mostly because majority of the staff was female and he'd slept with them all. The twin was always amazed at the fact the women didn't kill one another over Ipo. "I'd like to move forward." he murmuured before looking at Tsume and hopping down. "Um, I'd like to look down artist block. It's just down that way." he pointed out, nervously grabbing the man's sleeve before gently pulling him forward. "Three is good." Elliot nodded, about to eat but as soon as Leo turned with that sugar sweet smile he could only sigh before shoving his own mouth with food. He'd been at the end of those bitter words once before. Nayiin sat there, continuing to eat despite the sour words being aimed at her. "Land grubbing is hardly the correct term for a woman in my position. I am of twenty years old, unmarried and with no children. I have been saving myself for the prince because it was known that due to his mother's annoying smothering of him he was not able to be betrothed at a young age. Perhaps if she had been a better mother, which I shall be, he would have long since had a fiance." and looked at Lily "Though I doubt I am not the only land grubbing fool. It was only recently that you've come to visit, what after a trip from Reta? I have heard the servants and there is little doubt you are a whore. Shame your belly became distended due to such frivolous activities, perhaps the prince would bed you then." Elliot had stopped eating to listen, gently placing down his spoon before standing. "Prince Elliot?" Nayiin made a noise as her chair was roughly jerked back from the table. "Please stand, Miss Nayiin." she opened her mouth to question why but the lynx wasted no time in grabbing her and bringing her up to her feet, quickly leading her away from the table and towards the doors. "My prince what is the matter?" "My mother did not raise me to be a violent man, Miss Nayiin, but your rudeness towards my mother, towards the staff and towards Miss Lily are inexcusable." The silver eyes had become as cold as the element he controlled. "Firstly, my mother was a wonderful woman who restored peace and prosperity to the country you should be thankful to be apart of and the fact you would dare insult her in her house is the most rude of things a guest can do. Secondly, they are not called servants, they are called staff and they all play a very important role in the management and upkeep of this building. Without them you would be making your own bed." "My prince my comments were provoked--!" "Thirdly and quite possibly the most important note if not second to the one on my mother. You are to never call her a whore. Is that understood? You cannot even begin to fathom the pain and hell she went through and sadly, nor can I but that 'land grubbing whore' as you so rudely called her, is my wife and her distended stomach is my doing so if you care to have any more complaints I can assure you your town will be annexed on unstable grounds, Miss Nayiin." "Y-You cannot be serious, El--" "I shall be called Prince Nalaenir, Miss Nayiin, because as of tonight your city will be removed from this country. You shame your deceased mother, she was one of the few decent people left. I order you to pack your things and leave these grounds." he gave a rather cold smile "I would forbid you from entering the capital but now you need papers to cross borders. I suggest you leave now before I throw you in prison." he watched her face fall slack before turning angry, then slack once more in defeat as she turned and exited. The prince himself turned on his heel and toward Leo, kissing his lover rather possessively before holding him, one hand on the belly. "If you wish it I can indeed have her thrown into prison or worse." he murmured, knowing full well Leo wouldn't take him up on it. Maybe.

Tsume smiled at Kashi, moving his hand so he was holding the other's properly, "that sounds ni-" he stopped dead, his head snapping towards the castle as his grip accidentally tightened around Kashi's for a second before he loosened it once more. "seems i've a b***h to kill," he muttered, having 'heard' the woman's words through his master. he looked at Kashi, "sorry, Leo. apparently our visitor called him a fat land grubbing whore trying to steal Elliot away from her. Princey sent her away, but that's not enough." he'd made himself known to the wolf population hidden in the mountains. they would track their party down as they left and make sure they didn't get a single night's worth of sleep. one simply didn't mess with a wolves and their pack. "so, to the artist block, then?" "whore"Leo froze in place, his eyes wide, his spoon half-way to his mouth. he placed the spoon back into the bowl and placed his hand over his stomach, looking down. whore. he knew what he was. he could pretend and act like it wasn't true anymore, but it was all just a lie. he knew the true, he knew what he was. a whore. filthy, disgusting, pathetic little whore who moaned and begged for men to take him. he distantly heard Elliot speaking to the woman, but the words didn't register. it was as if he was hearing them from a great distance, but he was brought back to sharp reality when a hand was placed over his own. He jumped a little and quickly looked up at Elliot, blinking rapidly. "What?" he looked at where the woman had been, but she was gone. "prison? why-why would she go to prison for stating the truth?" a small smile crossed his lips and he threat his fingers through Elliot's, "we both know what i am-was-am-" he shook his head, looking down, "she only recognized the truth. why should she be punished for that?"

The black ears lowered slightly when his glove covered hand was taken, opening his mouth to speak until he was jerked back. "Tsume?" he questioned, looking at the wolf before looking in the direction of home, flinching slightly as his hand was gripped. "Is that so? That's all right, she was actually quite rude to Justin yesterday morning, and she hasn't even been here two days has she?" he mused before nodding. "Yes, the artists block has all sorts of things from clothes to sculptures. Their clothes sometimes become the next fashion so you should never undermine them." He smiled and continued to lead him, pointing out the handmade jewelry which was made more from glass beads and strips of leather then the high class metal. "You always find unique things in this part of the shops." "Leo," he said softly, kissing the Falian's head, "What you were, and she can be. When I am king you will be my queen and right now you are my fiance. all you need to do is ask." But Leo was not cruel and neither was Elliot. Banishment from the capital was all he could do. "Please understand me when I say you are no longer a whore, Leo. Please believe me when I say that. It is only the truth if it is current, and that is no longer the case." fingers gently tapped against the womb. "I do not want our child believing his mother is a whore, Leo."

Tsume looked around, taking in the different sights and enjoing the various colorful cloth and necklaces. "maybe we should find something for Nix here. she loves bright things and new styles of clothing. what do you think?" he stopped at a vendor with particularly beautiful ware. his strnads of beads had been woven together beautifully and Tsume smiled when he found a deep red, white and dark green necklace. "i'll take this one, please." it would suit nix well indeed. Leo couldn't look at Elliot as he spoke, "i-I'm trying. i don't want to keep-keep thinking this way. i know it bothers you and i hate, hate how i feel when i do this kind of thing but i can't help it...i'm sorry." at Elliot's tap, there was a responding press against his stomach and Leo smiled. "feel," he grabbed Elliot's hand and placed it over the two very distict foot outlines i his stomach. "the baby's saying hi." He smiled as he watched Elliot's face, but that smile faded slowly as he looked down at himself. "El-" he whispered, looking freightened. "Elliot, i feel, i feel something else, but it's-" he slide his hand over to the opposite side of his stomach and had to swallow hard. "Elliot, i feel another foot..."

"If you'd like." Kashi said with a smile. He wouldn't really know what to buy for himself or anyone else. Perhaps a wedding present for Elliot and Leo? They did fancy each other a lot, but what would he even buy? He stopped as Tsume stopped, looking at the jewelry before smiling. "I-I'll pay." he said, shoving tsume aside (if one could really call it shoving, more like a weak push) and paing for the necklace, allowing it to be wrapped up. "Here you are." and smiled, handing it to the wolf. "Nix must like colorful objects, she is incredibly colorless herself. Why is that?" "Just tell that to yourself at least once a day, please." he murmured, not wanting to force it onto the other. Elliot couldn't remove the history that easily, Leo would have to do it himself, and with time. "Feel?" he asked as his hand was moved, silver eyes widening as he felt the small bumps. The baby, the baby responded. He gave a bright smile looking down at the stomach, white ears perked to their fullest. "Hello." he whispered softly, tracing the unknown shapes before looking at Leo, smile dimming instantly. "what?" Another foot? Another? "Babies... have two feet." but it was impossible logic, he had two under his hand. Before his mind could think it through his hand dropped and he stepped away from Leo. "Two." he repeated. "Twins." was he to blame for that? He knew the actual lynx animal gave birth to two to four cubs, but that could not be his fault, he had never learned to shape shift into his animal. Oh god what did shape shifting have to do with any of this? he opened his mouth to speak but no sound came, lips quickly closing as he ran his hands through his hair, over his ears which had lowered very quickly. "That's not right." he murmured weakly, starting to walk around, first in circles, then in an awkwardly shaped figure eight, or back and forth. "Twins. Twins! Twins..." No. No. No.

Tsume had to shake his head a little, "fine, but since you bought it, you have to give it to her." he put the wrapped necklace into Kashi's pocket. "you can say i picked it out, but you bought it. as for why she is white," they began to wander down the street again, casually looking at the various wares, "she was born under unusual circumstances. Her mother had been badly wounded and lost both her husband and son at the same moment that hundreds of her close friends had been slaughtered before her eyes. we aren't sure if it was the shock or her being born while our lady queen was in a coma and within the trees, but she was born that way and it does nothing to cause her harm, so there no real reason to fix it, even if we knew how." "Oh hush up, you!" Lewis said from his seat near the grand window at the far end of the dining hall. "You're worse than your father was, and there were three that time." he closed his book and stood, up, stretching. the area surrounding him was littered with odds and ends, and he'd been curled up into a blanket with a book, giving off that hibernating look of someone who'd been in the same spot for a long time. "I called it, going to have to go and tell Al. he didn't believe me, but i'm never wrong." he grinned, winking at the two, "i've even got genders right too. though there was one maid i was wrong, but the baby was both sexes so that didn't really count, did it?" Leo looked at Lewis with shock, "I-um," but the man's words, added to his own mixed up feeling and Elliot's pacing were all driving him a little mad. he looked at Elliot and frowned, "is-is there being two such a bad thing?"

"That's really odd." Kashi mused. "But you're right, if it isn't hurting her there's no point in fixing it. It's actually quite nice to look at since the rest of the world is filled with color and she isn't. does that make sense? I suppose not, let me re-word that." and thought a moment. "I don't... know how to reword that." and looked up at Tsume. "How does the world look through your eyes, Tsume?" Elliot jumped, letting out a low hiss at the Prime Minister before forcing himself to calm down again. "He's been a father before!" he snapped. "And would you quit doing that just being somewhere and blending in! If our knights could do that I will never yell at you again, Uncle! You are-augh!" he yelled again, what little calm he had quickly being overrun but the large amounts of stress he'd been holding in. "And that person doesn't really count since they were indeed born with both genders but they are the best interior designer in this bloody estate so you cannot be biased against them!" "He's loud." Another voice whispered to Leo, a woman's head popping out from under the table, light brown hair falling over her shoulders before she inched forward. "so these are the heirs of Nalenyr and Falia, hm? And even Reta, how interesting. Shame there aren't triplets.' she mused, pressing her cheek to it." "No two children are not a bad thing but I don't even know how to be a father!" he exclaimed, resting his head against his Uncle's chest. "I'm going mad. So very mad I hear that sadistic president's voice." "Ooh, I'm sadistic?" and smiled, continuing to poke the tummy gently.
