A-Adorable? Why does everyone say things like that? gonk
lol! emotion_awesome Thanks! I modeled his personality more after his history and historical accounts of him from different time periods than current stereotypes. (The hillbilly/redneck stuff apparently goes for all regions of the US that aren't covered in urban areas so it was boring to focus on that.) I'm pretty happy with how he turned out.

He's charming me now, like he was when I was a child and visited Graceland and went horseback riding with my dad.
For me, I'm basically modelling Hawaii both off of historical accounts, which is why she has a distrust for both Arthur and Alfred, since they both tried to force religion on her and Arthur actually gave her small pox, measles, and influenza, killing off like 1/5 of the population, I believe. I'll double check that though. And she hates tourists like the locals don't really like tourists because they corrupt the land and are taking away from the culture of it all, like their mocking it instead of appreciating it. Stuff like that, and since she's a bunch of islands in the middle of the ocean, she gets lonely and doesn't know the other states well, but she's willing to try, since she's tired of being so alone. xD

She seems really cute. My knowledge of Hawaii is super limited, but sounds like how I would have interpreted her, too, based on what little I know (What little I know is essentially the biography of her last queen whose name I can't pronounce/spell from the History Channel which included her annexation to America sweatdrop ). I like it a lot that she has her resentments to the others, actually. It would be boring if all the states got along super well.

Yeah, well, as stated before, since almost all of the states are south-easterners, they have a tighter bond than she does with any of the west coast states, well besides California, but I can't have her here for obvious reasons lol. But I like how shes slowly starting to trust Andrew, since he was the first and generally the only state to even notice her existance up until now xD

Heheh. If there's one thing I'm proud of about TN it is that, even though he has a scary, violent history/record, he's also ranked as one of the top ten friendliest states. *pinches his cheeks* It's one of the things that makes you such a cutie-patootie-face~ >3<
*debates getting out his rifle again* =_=
Anyway, it's in his personality to be kind to Hawaii although I doubt he has any clue what a hard time she's had. He's unfortunately the type to be kind of oblivious to things that aren't directly related to him/his immediate neighbors unless it's a national scandal or something big.

Aww, so sweet. But I still refuse to believe that somehow Mississippi and Texas are ranked numbers one and two, something about that just doesn't rub me the right way. Have you ever been to Dallas? If the Cowboys lose that day during a good season, you'd better have bullet proof windows or super-human speed because people there just go insane, everyone has a freakin' gun!
But yes, I feel sorry for her, she's been pushed around so much without really doing too much to stop it and if she tries she immediately silenced for it. =/ I love her though! And haha! That's why I wan't someone to be like New Jersey and the other states could be like, "So uh, hows that former gay govenor doin'?" *troll face*

I'd believe it about Mississippi. If I remember right, Mississippi is the state that ranked as the top most generous for donating the largest percentage of its wealth to charities for at least 6 years in a row. (Maybe more since then. That article I read was from 2006 so who knows.) Of course, just giving away money doesn't make you super friendly, but at least charitable/concerned about others.
I don't know if I accept Dallas as a good representation of Texas as a whole but... in Tennessee there's basically a mass understanding that if you run into someone with Texas plates, you just smile and nod. Let them say what they want to say because deep down we all know Texas is TN's b***h. xp (Historical reasons for this.)
lol! I keep waiting for some opportunity to ask Massy about Senator Scott Brown and his truck. For some reason that's soooo funny to me that his slogan was him driving around in his truck. When I read about it I was like "MASSACHUSETTS IS SAVED! Thank GOD someone finally thought to bring a truck! ;~;"

Uh, let's see...
-Norway and Mexico went psycho during the dance (being controlled by Fenrir) -North Carolina got taken outside to safety by Northern Ireland -England and Lili got saved by America and are hiding behind a pillar during the chaos. -Hawaii showed up and is super cute. -There's now a wall/barrier preventing anyone from escaping the hall (not sure if anyone can get in)
I think those are the main highlights and letting you know what happened with your characters.

Not everyone in Texas has a gun (Proof being me), and anyway when did Tx become Tn's b***h????
And I hate to say this but I think Taiwan is going to get jealous of Hawaii alot if she comes between Taiwan and Japan
Japan is mine!!!

She's not going to come in between them, she has really no romantic interest in anyone. She's just a really good friend to Japan since they have a mutual respect for each other, even after the *ahem* Pearl Harbor incident. xD

Texas has always been TN's b***h. razz I'd go on a history rant about the Tennesseans Andrew Jackson, Davy Crockett and Sam Houston, but I'm kind of tired right now. There's also the huge number of Tennesseans who went to fight for Texas after the Goliad massacre. (There's also President Polk who later dealt with Texas, but TN didn't like him too much even though he was a Tennessean) Pretty much the Texas we know and love today was largely built by people from Tennessee and the support from back home. That's the major reason why when the Mexican-American war broke out TN had such an extreme reaction and did the 30,000 volunteers thing. Texas Rangers were even described as people who shot "like Tennesseans and fight like devils." <-- Implies to me that Texas learned how to shoot from TN, but I don't care if that's an actual character thing or not.
