Nick felt uneasy with his teacher as he hesitated to speak, as if she didn't want him to know what he was facing. Was it some kind of test? His faith and trust in the maester and this woman was suddenly being called into question. He would follow along but his eyes were going to stay focused on the two.

"Thank you, Teacher. Farewell."

He appeared on a rooftop two stories up, looking over the destruction that the apparant enemies had caused. He spied the large Heartless...or something that looked like a giant Heartless and chuckled. He pulled his rifle from his back and lied on his stomach, prepping the rifle as if he was a sniper. He wasn't, but he was a decent shot and maybe he could do some damage. He carefully lined up his rifle and fired a shot towards the Black Waltz, hoping to at least distract the enemy long enough for his 'allies' to get an upperhand. After firing the shot, he immediately began lining up his next shot. If everything worked out right, he should be unhindered in his shooting.

[Tortuga ~ The Challenger]

Noelle smiled and bounced a little, happy that Jenny had caught on. "I'm on a boat. I'm on a boat. Everybody look at me 'cause I'm standing on a boat. I got my swim trunks, and my flippie-floppies . . ." She had started to sing along with the tune Jenny had provided, continuing to bounce in a strange little dance. She knew the lines were out of order, but didn't really care. That's all she really knew of the lyrics.

Jack wrinkled his nose slightly, overhearing Jenny and Noelle's odd song. With a shrug, he flipped the wheel a little to change their course to the right direction as he cleared his throat.

"Well, children, it be a few hours time before we find ourselves at the abode of my dear friend Tia Dalma. So, I suggest you all make yourselves useful and go somewhere else . . ." He said, not taking his eyes off of the horizon. He really was aching to be rid of these kids. He had thought days ago in Agrabah that when they got to Port Royal he'd be rid of them, but things changed a bit, and this was no longer the case.

Jacob ll Caribbean ll The Challenger

Jacob's smile faded a little as 'Captain' Jack Sparrow trued to hurry them off the deck. He arched his back all the way down into a bride, feeling every vertebra extend, pop, and separate. He flipped his legs over his head and back down to stretch his hamstrings, rocked back and stretched his calves. "Alrighty.....While you guys go ride dolphins and do flips and s---, I'm going to go downstairs. One, I'm going to check on Louis. Two? I'm freaking TIRED." Jacob said, quite bluntly.

His blonde hair bobbed up and down as he skipped down the stairs to the crew quarters. Louis lay partially undressed. What the HELL were these girls doing to you? Perverts...Jacob, now thoroughly weirded out jumped into a rope hammock and gently closed his eyes. He pushed his goggles over his eyes and wish a strong push against the ship's wall, his hammock started to rock. "Ahhh...just what I needed. A little darkness." Jacob contemplated saying that in a place like this, but shrugged it off as the hammock oscillated slower...and slower...

[Axel:Hooks Ship]

Axel caught completly off gaurd. Surprise was appropreate.He blinked at him wide eyed before responding-
"-Dead? Well I'm not obviously, not sure how that happened- and him?.. well.. he's not dead either- he just went home." The red head wasn't sure how much about Roxas this guy knew, but it was weird. All these earthlings seem to have some insiders information on everything about them. Just how much did they all really know?

Kyle obviously knew of his bad reputation for backstabbing. But hey! It was good reasons, right?
"Pfff- just why would I do that to you?- you're just so loveable." he replied with mocking sweetness to his voice, "Alrighty I get it- time to go."
He shifted and with a snap of his fingers, shadows pooled infront of them, built up like a fog and grew wide till the space split. The darkness formed a crack, and opened into the Darkness Corridor.

"Woman and children first of course." He said gesturing for Alan to hang back with him -then looking pointly at Kyle and Cory.

[Kai: Angel Grove: Streets]

Kai liked Ellons idea, especially since her flying cars were clustered together by Johns magnitism. So she focused on the things non metal. Kai ripped off 3 pages and with her quill she shreded them in mid air. They floated around her, shreded into jaggid peices and there was a loud shattering noise from all around them. Everywhere the windows of cars, houses and buildings, anything made of glass exploded in a rain of shrapnel. With a circle stroke motion on her page Kai enforced her will over the millions of peices.
They hovered, resonating with the peices of paper around the dark pictomancer, and launched! From everywhere the glass would striek them, like being caught in a hurrican- only the rain was sharp and solid- like a thousand razor blades hoping to cut into those pathetic spandex suits.

But that wasn't the only thing Kai was planning to keep them entertained with.
Flipping to the next page she smiled at the pretty flower she had inked there. It looked very similar to Kyla's lotus shields.------------

[Kyla: AG: City: Streets]

Kyla ducked around the cars easier thanks to Johns help. The larger but fewer falling meteors of smashed motor-vehicles was WAY easier to dodge then a horde of smaller ones! She had to hurry, pressing her own pen to the page she activated Warding Lotus (Protect & Shell). She cast one for as many people as she could. In doing this she noticed Cloud has left to fight the Black Waltz. Which was good, even if this heartless version was stronger, it was still a magic caster- physical attacks should be effective if she remembered right.

And then came Elleons attack & Kai's From within their spred out ranks, Elleon's Grenade exploded into sharp peices, and from the outside, a sea of glass peices rained in on them! Not good!
Kyla tried her best to avoid them- but she'd never be known for her good avasive manuverse under pressure. She got cut up no matter which way she went- but the Warding Lotus reduced the damage that would have been delt under normal circumstances, and hopefully aided everyone else as well.

Kai was dangerous, she was just playing with them. She wasn't even trying! If Kyla's replica could imagine half of the nasty things you could do... then they wer ein trouble if she meant to really destroy them. But She, Azeal and Elleon- and.. whatever just joined the fray wasn't the problem. The Black Waltz was the problem. They were a distraction. Cloud couldn't fight it alone, they needed more people over there, more Melle's to take on the thing.

So Kyla charged. Waisting no time, the pictomancer made her mad dash to face her replica head on!
Would she win, one on own- probably not, but she could make herself one hell of a nuisance!

Here she comes.

She knew her original would figure it out. She would have. Her pride said she would have figured it out faster then her though.
She could see the artist doing something on her book page. "No quick enough!"
Kai released a Meta-slash, and like a sword coming down she sliced at her original to stop her approach.
Kyla met her slash with one of her own. the two stuck and it was like real metal cutting metal. There was a rining clash noise, but because it was a force, not a solid form, there was a backslash from the impact and both were pushed back.

Kai smiled, this would be interesting. She could assess just what her original could give her when the end comes.

" You wanna see how's better- I'll show you!!"

[ Kyle ; Sora ; Zexion ; Kuja : Isle of Tortuga : The Challenger ]

Kyle was about to say something when he heard a rather loud 'thud' and turned to watch Joe fall from the sky, landing roughly on the deck, even if it was on his feet. The swallow-wielder physically cringed at the sight and sound, hesitating for a moment before looking to Joe with a sympathetic face. "You gonna be alright?"

Sora, on the contrary, seemed to be searching around the deck, bending over every once in awhile. Unlike the others, he had a relatively keen eye for specific things- things like loot drops from Heartless.

"Gotta nice batch this time!" he announced, walking over to the main body of the group. "Two Mega-Potions and two Mega-Ethers- who wants'em?"

[[Riku : AG : City Streets]]

Riku said nothing but moved like lightning. As the shards of glass, cars, rubble, and earth took flight all around them. Riku dodged through most and deflected the rest with his keyblade.

The keyblader spotted Cloud making an approach on the Black Waltz, their main objective, and most detrimental of foes at the moment. Lending his support as best he could, Riku reeled back then tossed his keyblade controlled by darkness setting it to home in on the heartless.

At that moment, Riku spotted Kyla's replica a bit away, completely engrossed in her original. Fearing more for Kyla's safety, he felt the power inside him well to the surface and lift him off the ground about an inch. He thrust his palms forward and generated a barrage of black firaga spells streaming in her direction. Most of them would miss and plow into the earth around her, but the cloud of dust would impair the replicas sight for but a moment. The time would be short, with the wind whipping around to clear the dust away quickly, it would give Riku just long enough to move and assist.

[Dawn : Isle of Tortuga : The Challenger]

Dawn glanced over at Noelle and Jenny. The two girls seem to be having a good time. She was half tempted to dance along with, but her lazy, and tired side won out on that one. She leaned her right side against one of the rails on the ship. An action that caused the daggers on her hip poke her in the thigh.

She stood back up right and placed her hand on one of the hilts, and let out a sigh. Dawn had almost forgot she had those. With all that happened since Louis had gotten back, she hadn't gotten a chance to return them.

Her attention was caught by Sora who came up to the group with some items. She was tempted to claim one of the Mega-Ethers for herself, but shook the thought away.

"I am just going below deck and get some rest," she announced before she slowly started down the steps and made her way to the crew quarters.

She smiled half weakly when she spotted Jacob, who was already there, in a hammock. That smile faded when she saw Louis unconscious on the bed. Dawn slowly sat on the floor, not trusting herself to sit in one of the hammocks. Her eyes glancing between Jacob and Louis.

"I am guessing you haven't been down her long enough to notice any change..." she said in a rough whisper to Jacob. Not wanting to wake Louis. Or Jacob for that matter if he was trying to rest. With or without an answer she let out a soft sigh and leaned her head against the wall behind her.
