You can't apply to be Vice Captain but you can apply to be a Captain. I will link you the thread shortly in an edit to this post if you cannot find it. For future reference however it is on the Main Page.

Vice Captains are picked (primarily from the squad though this is not a rule seemingly) by the individual captains if you show a degree of skill or if they really like you. Sometimes there are tournaments.

Otherwise to work up the ranks you can challenge other people (and win) or show your potential by going on missions and such.

So you're just going to have to strut your stuff. Fear not though as if you have the skills needed you could get a position as Captain and by extension Vice Captain positions are being assigned.

Alternatively as I'm on the Arrancar side you could join us. We're all cool. We also start at the level of third seat unless it changed unbeknownst to me.

EDIT: If you want to apply for a Captain spot this is the place.

We've no Espada here (admittedly this is only a recent change and had you been here a month or three earlier this wouldn't hold true). The only rank that carries 'absolute' authority is King among the Arrancar and there is more than one King.

Potentially there should be three but we need more Arrancar just to fatten up our numbers if nothing else. Even if you don't make the cut for King you'd still be a great addition to the forces of Chaotic Evil, True Neutral or Chaotic Neutral.

Oh and it'd mean we'd have 8 Arrancar totals which means more normal Arrancar than Kings.
