Kuroi picked up Cali gently and gave her a soft hug before telling her, "It all happened so fast... Moonreaper destroyed the book, by doing so we should have been destroyed as well... Our Demonic Powers are gone... I can no longer transform or use other elements other then nature, Moonreaper has by far lost the most, losing much of his strength, his elemental power, his mind reading capabilities, his seals and fighting skill are all he has left, it may not sound like much but that should put him about on par or just slightly weaker then your mother".
Kuroi looked over at his staff, a vine extended from his skin grabbing it from the floor near the wall where it had landed. The vine then retracted holding his staff against his back.
"Moonreaper... That child... was he the one you were looking to make into a Knight? He seems weak even by your standards, cowardly as well and even mroe bold then even Lunacy was.
Moonreaper had no obligation to answer, he didn't even want to really but he didn't really see any harm in it now, "Yes... I imbued him with a Demon Shard of my weapon Shadowscythe, once the book was destroyed he must've been transported here, because the demonic power was gone he returned to normal and must've lost his memory of the ordeal I put him through.

"How old are you then? The vampire is over 5000 she said but she still seems pretty, the scar guy looks kinda old though" he commented.
"One thing I still don't understand, you are all strange and weird things and aren't I trespassing or something?" he asked a little worry in his voice.
Moonreaper looked over, "Stop calling me that, if you really must know my name is Moonreaper, that's the last time I'll say it, The vampire as you call her is Lavender, The elf's name is Kuroi, the girl in his arms is Cali and the one looking after you... her name is Maya as for your other question, yes you are trespassing as such but all are welcome here and thanks to Lavender you won't be killed anytime soon. Technically I have no need of sticking around, not bound by a book or rules but I made a vow to serve Lavender and I shall do that until the end of my time".
Kuroi turned and glared at Moonreaper, "Your not the type to give up so easily on something, out of all the knights you enjoyed your power the most, thanks to your seals your immortal, and thanks to my godly powers so am I, we are the only ones were immortal... the others all had ways of losing their lives whether it was vampire, soul monger or otherwise..." he said sounding deeply suspicious of Moonreaper.

Maya smiled widely, "I'm 18. And yes, my name is Maya." She tilted her head then looked at Moonreaper, "You know the name "Scar" sure fits you."

Moonreaper moved his index finger over the cresent shaped scar on his face, "Of course it suits me, but my name remains from when I was born, I am a warrior now and always" he said as he moved to his Scythe taking it from where he had thrown it then placed it on his back.
Maya is a nice name..." he said shyly. He looked over at Moonreaper for a moment then turned back to Maya, "Is he always grumpy?" he asked curiously but at the same time mischievously wanting Moonreaper to hear him.

She sighed and looked at the kid, standing up brushing dirt from her skirt "I am well over five thousand more like around 6,600 and something I lost count." She glanced at Moonreaper "Loyal to the end I see. Even if you are pratically below my power rank now." She made her voice sound arrogant but the grin on her face said she was happy to have someone who was on the same power level as her that she wasn't afraid to hurt like she was with Mercy.
Cali instinctively curled up against Kuroi, hugging him back. She nodded listening to his words "Good, demonic did not suit you." She hide her face against his chest and whispered soft enough only those close to them, even with a vampires hearing, could hear her "I am glad you are still here..."

Kuroi sighed remembering briefly the pain he long felt from when he left the last person who cared about him to sit in solitude in a realm all alone. Even though it was not his place he still wished to stay, young Cali was enough of an anchor to keep him in this realm.
Moonreaper smiled placing his hand over the edge of his Scythe, he tightened his grip around it as blood began to flow from his hand and driped on the ground, the wound did not heal, it was something so odd and unfamiliar to see, his blood smelled pure and filled with wisdom and experience as he then held it out to Lavender.
"I know your not much of a blood person, but you still require it to survive more or less feel free to have a taste, do not take enough to get addicted but have some to prove my loyalty to you, my strength and power can no longer be my proof nor can the book you once held. I bleed like a normal Elf... Thanks to my seals I can still maintain many of my spells but my raw elemental magic is gone, I can no longer reform by body so there are indeed ways of destroying me. I will advise you be very careful if you spar with me, I may not be as physically strong, fast or agile as you but my skills are still unwarrented" he said with a smug smile.
"How can you be that old? Shouldn't you be wrinkly and decrepit? Like an old hag or something? Or do you really look like that and you are just doing some weird freaky Vampire mind trick?" he asked before getting cautiously closer to Lavender. He walked up to her then slowly walked around her, once he finished he began to back away, "You look like you have killed a lot of people..." he said looking afraid again.

Cali stayed curled against him, her good hand gripping his shirt tightly, almost as if she was afraid he would leave.
She shuddered slightly when the scent of his blood caught her, her fangs lenghtening "I do not get addicted, it is not in my family's gene's Cali gets that from her Father. This is how you choose to prove your loyalty? Offering up your blood." She took half a step forward touching Moonreapers hand pulling it closer to her "You have never seen me truly fight Moonreaper, do not judge before you have seen." She would normally have turned away from drinking fresh blood from someone, but today she didn't she ran her tongue over the wound shuddering slightly. She did this again three or four times not taking too much but enough, she closed her eyes then shaking her head opening her eyes again. She looked at Kege her eyes a blue-grey "Vampires do not age. I had vampire blood in my veins when I was born, I stopped aging the second that blood was activated I stopped aging." She sighed and watched him "I have killed more than I ever want to admit."

Kege looked up at Lavender, heard her words and then a shiver ran down his spine as she took Moonreaper's blood, he immediately ran and hid behind Maya. Even if it was repeated that he would not be harmed such an act in front of him still instilled fear, the child was even shaking in utter fright.
"I would never judge you my dear, I serve you in all aspects, by offering my blood I can hold no prejudice, I serve you as somewhat of an alliance. I have no further purpose in this world, you are giving me purpose... I am serving someone of equal power and stature as myself there is no need to say more..."
Kuroi picked up Cali and walked over to a chair laying Cali on his lap allowing her to cuddle and lean against him. "No need to squeeze me so hard, I will not leave you I promise, I will watch over you for eternity..." he said trying to sound reassuring to the young Cali.

She half smirked at the kid, knowing that her actions frightened him. She looked back at Moonreaper "It is not your judgement I care about. It is my own, I do not drink blood often from a human I grew out of having an interest in it after killing so much. I do not ask people to serve me, they have free will to do what they want."
Cali nodded against Kuroi but kept her hand holding onto his shirt

"I am doing exactly what I want... and need I remind you I am not a human..." he said pointing at his long slender ears, "I am a Moon Elf" he grumbled.
Kege came slightly out of hiding. He watched Lavender and Moonreaper from a safe distance, he eyed them suspiciously not wanting to interupt them as his fear slowly began to subside. Maya's gentle hand eased him making this an easier to deal with burden.
"Maya... I know your name but you don't know mine..." he said tugging at her wanting her to lower herself so he could whisper it in her ear.

"I know what you are Moonreaper, and what I ment was I normally do not drink blood from a body." She sighed and ran her hand over the wound he made healing it over. She looked at Kege "I would not hurt you even if someone paid me. I do not hurt people anymore unless they attack first."

Moonreaper was amused by Kege, he knew the child's name and thought it was adorable that young Kege didn't want anyone except Maya to know.
Kuroi gently stroked Cali's hair admiring how soft it was, Cali seemed like some well made doll in the fact of her beauty and how fragile she was as a person.
