The look on Akane's face would've made you think the reward over her head had just skyrocketed. Either that or for normal people's cases, she had just won the lottery. Her eyes sparkled although the lights were dim. A gentle smile played toyed around her lips. For as long as Akane remembered, she was in love with all the princess business. Power, she wanted and power she had.
Nodding her head in thanks to Kai, real tempted to curtsy to him. Akane's glittering eyes shifted towards Awai. Answering her question, she replied, "I kinda want to take-" Akane frowned as she could not remember the lady's name, "the girl on her offer. You know... The girl." As if, emphasizing 'the girl' would make any difference at all. "The shopping spree one!" Akane decided to add at the very end, confused with herself.
Kurai watched Kin very careful. That's the reason as to why she managed to pull her whistle up to her mouth and blow a few notes, stopping him. Kin had seen Daisuke had stopped paying much attention to him and, like usual, Kin wanted to give a good hard peck. Ever so slowly did Kin turn his head in Kurai's direction. For right now, the attention seeking Kin was satisfied for the moment of Kurai's attention, whether it be negative or positive.

Ah, it's fine. I haven't been on in a few days anyways... friend issues, PIG DISEASE, and then some damned 'Haunted House' that failed to scare me. ... And then more pig disease. -feels awful- :C ]]
Kai was very pleased now, whether it let on to show or not; though, he preferred it not to. He had spaced out a bit until Akane had decided to speak again.
"Ah, you mean Kurai-san." It wasn't meant to be a question; who else was going around the Akatsuki flaunting around if anyone wanted some monies? ... Damn, why hadn't Kai said anything? ... Damn, damn, damn...
Crap.
Kin's small movement's had caught Daisuke's eye yet again. He looked down to the bird, looking him over now that he was much closer. He didn't understand how a bird such as Kin, whom species have such a huge wild streak in them, was tamed and under control, whether it be perfect control or not. He just took it that Kin was different, and with the proper love and care, that any animal can be tamed to perfection... or not so perfect perfection.

D; I hate Haunted Houses like that! Although, if you come to Vancouver [wants you to come], there are some hella scary Haunted Houses here. 8D]]
Akane nodded eagerly. She didn't really pay for anything before, but there was a first for everything, right? No, not really, but you should get the point. "Kurai-san." Akane repeated, her first attempt to learn anyone elses name besides Kira's.
Most people had problems with spending people's money, whether it be a large sum or a rather puny one. Akane wasn't one of those people. Someone offered, she'd take. Maybe even more than she was welcome to take, but at least she took it, right? It was her kind of logic.
Taking a few steps down the hallway, Akane hoped it was the way. She stopped, glancing back at the two with a confused expression. They should know the way right?
Kurai scowled towards Kin. The people in the Akatsuki were all on the same side, no need to go off trying to kill another. Kin wasn't exactly a member of the Akatsuki, the same thing applied to him. Again, Kin cocked his head to the left; a small innocent gesture. Really, sometimes Kurai forgot Kin was just a bird. Without wanting to disturb Kin's 'moment of happiness', Kurai lifted the corner of her lips to a slight smile, "Daisuke, you're in need of a partner, huh?" Her smile froze in place as she herself realized, she didn't have a partner either. The only ones with partners were really all the Akatsuki members who were originally here. Her eyes shifted towards Kira, 'You don't have one either, hm?'

Kai nodded. "Yeh, it's that way." He knew he didn't need to, but he pointed down the hallway Akane was standing in. He then walked by her, not too far in front. It'd be easier if he just walked ahead anyways, instead of letting Akane. Otherwise he'd have to be all, 'Turn that way,' and, 'No, not that way,' and then, 'Oh, it's that door.'
Getting there wouldn't take too long, anyways.
Daisuke looked away from Kin and up at Kurai. He registered what she had asked him, and he had almost forgotten that Akatsuki member's were always paired up for things. He took it kind of like a buddy-system.
He slowly nodded his head, as to not make too many big movements to disturb the bird residing on his hand. "T-... That would be correct." He still felt out of place there, but he felt things may change.
Kira decided against speaking. Kurai had asked her through thoughts; thus, Kira would look rather freaky if she answered in words. In the mean time, she just projected her own thoughts into Kurai's head momentarily.
'I do not. Why? ... You better not be thinking of pairing me up with some random Akatsuki member with no one to drag around on assignments. There's probably 3 people in here I can stand with no partners, and I'm not naming whom.'

Akane matched her footsteps with Kai's, an attempt to remember the whole base in a single watch. One of her best skills was her skill to memorize. All it really took was a quick walk or scan around the place and poof, it was etched like stone in her mind. That should've been the case when she walked back towards the room, but Akane was a tad bit drozy from her small nap. "So...."
Kurai ran her fingers through her hair. This was a bother. She figured Pein would sooner or later assign something to the bunch of current slackers, and it'd be rather soon. Why not get into partners? Who cares about whatever system the piercing covered man used? At this point, only the originals really cared. Then again, some people wouldn't be so happy with Kurai acting on her own. So the only sensible thing to Kurai was, "Let's pull from a hat." Of course, Kira didn't want some random member so, she quietly added, "Except for Kira, if you'd prefer."

Kai looked over at Akane, expecting her to continue, but nothing happened. He figured that was his cue to say something.
"Hm. You only know Kurai's and Kira's names, right?" He scratched his head. He couldn't remember if he'd introduced himself or not. He shrugged.
"Eh, either way, I'm Kai. Apparently my nickname is Prince, now, ... which sounds kinda gay, but whatever." He shook his head at himself. The crown-less Prince Kai. Indeed.
Daisuke had taken to gently scratching Kin's head, so when Kurai suggested something about a hat, he quickly looked back up, ceasing Kin's treatment. He glanced at Kira and then looked back to Kurai. Pulling from a hat meant that he'd probably get someone he'd yet to speak to.
You may've not noticed this, but Daisuke wasn't good at introductions. He didn't favor them in the least. He nodded anyways.
"It seems fair enough." He smiled nervously. He wasn't good with emotional cover-ups.
Kira rolled her shoulders, "I don't really see why not. Chances are I may get someone I can at least find a way to use to my benefit. Either that, or maybe they'd make a good stress relief dummy...?" She smiled eerily. "Classic torture is still one of my favorites."
She gestured with her hand lazily, trying to show that she didn't really care. She just hoped she didn't get anyone she literally just hated. But, so far, everyone in the organization had something dark and demented about them that Kira liked.
Either way, Kira just might win.

"Prince?" Akane stared at Kai, keeping her steps matched up with his. "Ooooooookay." Her eyes rolled and came back to Kai again. Kai sort of looked like a prince with all his flashy necklaces and his crown that was now sitting on top of Akane's head. Without second though, she poked Kai on the side. Slim, lean. Prince material, for sure. She shook her head 'causing the small red ribbons to whack her in the face. She was taking this way too seriously. Her emerald green eyes looked away from Kai and back onto the hallways. Akane had gone crazy. Period.
Kurai held her hands together and looked up at the ceiling. "So we've got me, Kira, Daisuke, Kai, Awai, Akane and friend, Ryuu-" Kurai's eyes drifted towards the door for a second as she said, "- and Kaname." Kurai frowned at muttered, "We're odd.. Ehh, we'll probably get a new member soon." She scanned the room for something along the lines of a hat. For sure, Kurai didn't have it on her. She was wearing a short skirt with Kai's top and that was it, save for the bandages. Giving up rather quickly she asked, "Anyone have a hat?"

Kai chuckled at the poke. Mostly because he was ticklish, but whatever. He also just found it amusing. He then shrugged. "I didn't choose the name, but apparently it just fits." He scoffed lightly. "I'm not some pampered little prissy-boy." He ran his hand through his hair, and by instinct he automatically tried to feel for his crown. When he realized it wasn't there, he dropped his hand back to his side. Old habits die hard.
He slowed his steps once they'd gotten to the end of the corridor. He looked both ways before heading off to the left. He looked over his shoulder to Akane.
"You got any nicknames?"
Kira looked to Kurai with a bored expression. "Does it look like we have a hat?" She gestured towards herself and then to Daisuke. She went over the names Kurai had stated in her head. She looked towards her scythe that was still propped up against the wall.
"Did you leave Nami out on purpose?" The little ninja had taken a leave, yes, but did Kurai expect her to not return? Kira knew she'd have to come back, and she knew just whom she'd come back to.

I hope you get better : D I used to love kool laid and their comercials xD. Lol I hate root beer also, it tastes like something gross xD don't understand why people like that stuff.]]
Awai just followed Kai and walked beside Akane while they walked to where kurai is, "My names Awai unless you didn't know" she said as she gave a introducing smile[if their is one ;D]. Awai thought about kai's question to Akane about nickname's and wondered what her's was.

[[I haven't been online for a while, huh? Two days is too much for me but I keep coming home at like ten 'cause of 'em sports. D; I'ma try come home earlier. 8D]]
Akane separated a chunk of her long black hair. She began picking strands of hair apart from one another. 'Nicknames, huh?' Akane was stuck on this question for longer than needed be. Her parents probably had one for her but she couldn't remember. The only persons he remembered was Katashi and Katashi never called her much else. Save for idiot, stupid and other derogatory names. Akane shrugged, much too embarrassed to admit no one had called her much of anything except for adding '-chan' to Akane which was only done recently by Kira. "I don't remember." Her eyes continued watching her hands work away at her hair and still managed to keep her footsteps matched with his, it wasn't a lie but it wasn't the whole truth either. It counted as the truth still, right?
Kurai stared at Kira, nearly dumbfounded. Would Nami come back? Probably. She wouldn't get out easy from leaving just like that, though. Scratching the back of her head Kurai jested, "Maybe we should just throw Fish boy's name into the hat instead?" Her hand was firm on the whistle, blowing a couple of high, sharp notes and Kin came. Hesitantly at first, but he came. The little bag he dragged around with him should work. "Shan't we draw without thou fair guests?"

Kai somehow managed whilst walking to tap-tap Akane's forehead. "No nicknames? Really?" He gave a slight 'hmph.' This just wouldn't do. Newp. Would. Not. Do.
"Something will just have to be arranged..." He squinted at a near-by floor tile... but of course, they were all near-by, especially when you're stepping on them. "Nothing really has to; I just like nicknames. Especially when people stick me with some s**t like 'Prince.'" He glared over to Awai.
He looked back to Akane. "Any names you've always liked? ... Any weird characteristics you yourself've got?"
[[Kai's grammar sucks. I've noticed I make him talk differently and stuffes... maybe it's just how he is. c: ]] Kira looked at Kin, then her eyes went to the little pouch he carried. Her gaze stayed there are she spoke. "I suppose." She wondered who she'd get stuck with. With her luck, though, she'd get stuck with someone... either she didn't favor as much as others, or they'd turn out to be complete duds. She assumed she could straighten them out if needed, though.
With very small movements, she shook her head, ridding herself of 'pessimistic' thoughts. She glanced back to Kurai. "Are you drawing for us, or... what?"
