It had been some time since the start of the attacks, and Cross had healed completely. He had spent much time working on more research while in America, and had left Claire with still plenty more to peruse. His hair was mostly grown out again, and he looked like his old self. He donned his General's uniform for the first time in what felt like forever. With a somewhat heavy heart at the thought of leaving Claire alone, he still looked forward to returning to the Order. He most of all looked forward to seeing his apprentice, despite everything that had happened between them. He wanted to know she was alright, to see it with his own eyes. With a flash of his lighter he lit a cigarette, looking up at the massive doors. For once, he would walk through the front, instead of appearing mysteriously as he usually did. Taking a deep drag, he entered his home.

Kiah couldn't help but feel bad about what she said, but she was too frustrated to apologize to the girl. Though no matter how mad she might've been, she wasn't going to stomp out on Liv. After she ordered her small glass of cocoa she started tapping her fingernails to a beat only she could hear, not liking the awkward silence.
"So... How is he...?" Kiah was pretty sure Liv would know who she was talking about, but if she didn't, Kiah wasn't going into details. She probably shouldn't even be asking in the first place, but she didn't know what else to say.

Liv was relieved for something to talk about, and she answered instantly, "He's alright...he misses you...he misses everyone, I think...he's had a bit of a rough time lately, but...between Addie and I, we've been able to handle him. Isaiah really helps too," she smiled a little.

Kiah was glad Liv seemed less anxious, but didn't show it. She decided not to make another comment that would depress Liv, and avoided voicing her doubts about him missing her. "Well it's good to know that he's got you guys to help him out... But who is Isaiah?" she asked, having never heard about him before.

"Oh..you didn't know..? Jacob has a brother. Well...they aren't actually blood related, not really...but...Isaiah is Jacob's brother," Liv smiled, "He's very...very different from Jacob."
She suppressed the thought that Jacob and Isaiah were now her brothers in a way as well. She swallowed a little and played with her curls, taking a sip of her drink. She thought about Isaiah and how calm he was. He was also intellectual, not to say that Jacob wasn't smart or anything. Jacob was just...immature.
"He's reserved...and very calm," she nodded.
