His turn to tease back a bit, raising an eyebrow at her.
"And how would you kow that Isle is a hair puller and not a scratcher, hmm? has piper been playing with the other girls from time to time in her past?"
though a slight frown.
"That's unfair. though...hmm. maybe if we find out who the father is, then I can play matchmaker again. that would be an intersting and fun task. making Isle settle down with one elf. I bet I could get another title to my name if I pulled that one off. the Tamer of Isle."

She chuckled softly at his leery expression and opened her arms, embracing him. Lucky her, his shirt was still downstairs. Dipping her head, she nibbled at his neck and shook her head. Her history of using candles to convince him to sate some of her needs was probably flashing through his mind right now. She took a step, pushing him back and locked her lips on his, moving him rather easily against the wood of the door. "Trust me, Raven. Atmosphere only."

"No, Piper hasn't. But she does talk sex and all other matters of such intimacy with her friends from time to time. I know things that would either turn you on...or freak you out. Things which I'm not telling you because those are under womanly confidance." Giving him a grin and shaking her head lightly. At least their son was too little to really understand what they were talking about. Shaking her head. "It's not unfair. If I can't be the only woman in your life then I don't want to share any of me with you. Including those children which mind you, I had to lug around in the small space that is my body for a year each." Rolling her eyes then. "Now Lateef would hurt you for taking the spirit out of his little girl. Isle always told me that she'd never get married or settled down, men were always just too much trouble."
Yes he was wary of candles, but only because he knew what she usually used them for. These days it was more of she used them depending on how his mindset flowed during the time before these sorts of moment. He crossed his arms over his chainmail lightly as he watched her skeptically before she reassured him that she was just creating atmosphere this time. And that was the door at his back. Hands came to rest on her hips is commonplace fashion as he indulged her in her affections. "If I find out your lying, I'm hiding your napkin rings, and your spices."

Ooh double whammy, he was really worried about that wasn't he? She chuckled softly and moved to getting his chainmail off. In the fifteen years they'd been together, one might possibly think she could actually get the stupid stuff off of him by now but she still struggled with it. It didn't matter how many times he'd shown her, the only way she could possibly get it off was when she wasn't thinking about it. Leaving the chainmail for now, her fingers threaded through his braid, moving until they found the thong holding it in place and pulled loosening his hair and tunneling her fingers through it. "Not my spices."

"but you wouldn't have had them without me. both for twisting arms to get your fertility drugs, and for provided the base material in ther creation process."
tapping her on the nose.
"I doubt it. but I could convince the elusive and overly stubborn Isle to get married, than that would be a feat worthy of praise."
A slight chuckle.
"Lateef would probably be happy to think that she's not out doing somethign overly dangerous alone when she has a kid, or heaven forbid taking the kid with her."

He was amused briefly as she tried at his chainmail...though she had wised up in the years and learned that if she couldn't get it at first go, to just leave it alone and he'd eventually shrug out of it. But he watched for the moment as she took to one of her favorite things to amuse herself with in the meantime. Might as well not make her suffer too much. Thusly he started on his chainmail as he merely kept a lopsided yet could be considered evil plotting in his head smirk on his face. "Oh yes, your spices. And then if that didn't teach you enough of a lesson, next goes all your spoons. Pretty soon, you'd be out a kitchen."
"Empahsis: Housed them for a year. Until you do that, you don't win." Childishly sticking her tongue out at him just because she could. There was something in their little play fights that always brought out the rather playful child in her. Wrinkling her nose lightly at his tapping. "Worthy of praise yes but very unlikely. You know she'll punch you in the teeth too if you tried to force her when she didn't want to be convinced of such things. And frankly dear, I'd like you to keep your teeth." Taking a moment to tuck a few red and silver strands behind her halved ear, "I don't think Isle would do something like that. A woman's perspective changes once she had children to look after. But I don't doubt she'll have him out and about by the time he's Dhairiss' age...surface is a lot safer for little elves than down here." Sometimes she thought they were too cooped up down here.

He was teasing, he had to be. She pulled back and stared at him for a long moment then shook her head. "You wouldn't..." Spices was bad enough but her spoons too? Kill her now! And then her sacred kitchen. Dipping her head again, she gave him what could easily be classified as a brutal kiss in punishment for screwing around with her. "You know I go crazy when you mess in my kitchen." She was trying to remember if the candles did anything or not...

"she wouldn't punch me. I'm blue, she wouldn't damage such good looking eye candy. thought she might slap me."
a slight roll of his eyes.
"the surface can be just as dangerous as here. particularly for that elf that likes to go places elves like her shouldn't go to."

"Yes, I would." He usually did follow through on his threats...probably one of the reasons that people did take his rather soft spoken words in high regard. "Yes, I do know you go crazy. You mess with my crazy so I have to mess back with yours. That's the only fair thing after all."
Her turn to roll her eyes again and giving him a dismissive wave. "Okay okay, you can win the argument. It's not that you're right mind you, I'm just tired of refuting your ever attack on the subject."

"because I'm right and your drawing at straws to keep refuting me."
a slight chuckle and a kiss for his wife, before sending off one of the serfs...you know what, just for the hell of it, lets send off one of the scantily clad women servants he still had, to fetch the boys for dinner. of course, that ment having one serf go downstairs to fetch the other one, but still..humor value to be appreciated.
"food should be ready soon, so might as well start gathering everyone up. anything in particular you want to drink, 'Chev?"

"I'm not drawing at straws, and you're not right." Because she wasn't going to be wrong on this. She knew her best friend better than he did...or at least hoped he did. Gee thanks Malik, now she was going to think bad things. But a light sigh and a shake of her head before a light smile to him. "You're impossible sometimes. And I dare say you're trying to get me to drink wine....wanting to get me all liquored up for something Malik love?"

"Now when was the last time I wanted you liquored up. the last time I thnk was shortly after you got back home from your trip around the underdark. and then it was to make sure you stayed home for an longer period of time. though I will say that I have been able to get Serino to drink things from time to time to lessen your escapades. plus Ramoth finds him much more agreeable."

A few blinks befor a frown at him. "Malik! Why do you have to torture him like that....I don't mess with your horse, why do you have to do things to mine. The poor thing, no wonder he's all paranoid around you and so on. I should hurt you for that...and if there weren't small elves in the room, I would do just that. So feel lucky..." Narrowing a gaze on him that was playful at hte same time to an extent. "An you like to liquor me up to see me all goofy and agreeable as well too...I know you, don't play innocent."

"Hey it's not torture. it's simply a clear alcohol mixed in with water. he gets a bit loopy, does what Ramoth wants, and is loopy enough to not fall for your lets go play with the dangerous things for fun ideas. It's not like I get him plastered."
then a slight smirk.
"well, you do a lot of interestingly fun things when you're loopy. so who can blame me if I try to get you in that frame of mind every now and again."

"You still shouldn't get him all loopy...poor thing. And he stops me from doing things I shouldn't we just have a different definition than you do on all of that. You're far more paranoid of bad things happening." It was endearing in a way, well sometimes. It was funny really...sometimes it seemed he worried more about her than even what their kids got into. But a roll of her eyes and she reahed over, slapping at his arm. "You enjoy those things...many a time you just think them cute. So stop complaining."
