Kiah was practically bouncing on the balls of her feet in anxiousness, hating how they were dancing around all of the heavy subjects, but knowing it was necessary. "Well, you know me. Doing what little I can, same as always..." She hoped that Liv had left fast enough the last time they'd seen eachother. She was still a bit embarrassed about how quickly she'd lost both her temper, and all of the rounds in her pistol...

"Do you...do you wanna get lunch..?" Liv looked around a bit. She wanted to really talk to Kiah. She wanted to talk to someone, anyone. She knew she couldn't give details, but...she missed them all so much, she had to do something.

"Oh... Um... Yeah, sure. I'd like that." Kiah gave her a weak smile and held out her arm in a guesture to lead the way, looking back at the pharmacy in a bit of disappointment. She followed a bit reluctantly, knowing she probably wouldn't make it back before they closed for the day.

Liv smiled and turned around, leading Kiah to the little cafe she had taken Lavi to that time. She sat at the same table, and had they had the same waitress. Kiah wouldn't know this, but Liv would know. She thought about Lavi while they sat there, deciding what to order.
"I brought Lavi here once...how is he..?" Liv didn't look up from her menu, asking casually. Truth be told, she was probably more concerned about Lavi than anyone.

Kiah looked around the cafe while Liv was picking out a table, appreciating the homey feel of the place. She grabbed her menu and examined it carefully, not really feeling hungry.
"I'm sure he liked it here... He's doing very well, actually. He's... a lot happier now that Sil is sa- back." She stumbled over her words a bit, but continued on like nothing happened. "I didn't see him in the infirmary today, so I assume he's out and about..."

"Oh, really? Oh good," Liv sounded so relieved, "I was sad I didn't get to see Sil when I-....uhm...before I left," she also stumbled over her words.
Liv sighed a little and folded up her menu, leaning her arms on the table and looking at Kiah. She looked down a bit and fiddled with her hands, "I..I don't know when I'll be able to come back, Kiah...," she looked sad at the thought.

Kiah smiled into her menu, glad that she put Liv's worry to rest. She still wasn't ready to bring up the kidnapping with Liv just yet, as she knew it would only make her feel worse.
Kiah quickly looked up from her menu and stared at Liv's downturned eyes, not at all happy about what she was being told. "What do you mean by that? You're still welcomed there, you know. We might have to sneak you in after what happened, but you can just teleport there, can't you?" She knew the others missed Liv as well, probably more so, and put the unnecessary blame on herself for being the one to talk to her.

"It's...the Earl...he's given me...a job, now...so I...I can't go back," Liv felt her throat tighten and her eyes water. She wouldn't cry though, not again. She unfolded her menu again and stuck it in front of her face to avoid Kiah's probable stare.
"Now that everything is settling down again...Jacob and the others...they'll probably visit...I know he really misses you," she kept her menu-shield up.

"The Earl give out a lot of jobs, apparently... Why would that matter when the other Noahs still come to the Order with 'jobs'? Don't you realize how much everyone wants to see you?" Kiah attempted to talk some sense into her, though she knew it probably wouldn't work. She glared at Liv's menu angrily, huffing a bit.
"So they get to visit and you don't?" Kiah said softly, snorting a bit at the Jacob comment, but not wanting to bring it up.

Franzie smiled back at Lavi, happy that she was able to help. She stood up and peered over at Mizaka.
"Anyone else that needs my assistance?"
"Well, the infirmary is pretty full right now with patients..." Franzie let out a sigh. She pulled off the string that was holding her hair and let it fall around her shoulders.
"I'll have to do that later. I don't have enough energy right now, and I haven't started preparing my herbal medicines yet. Hopefully they can wait a little longer." She looked back at Lavi and Sil and smiled again. "I'm very happy to have finally met you. If you need any medical assistance, don't be hesitant to ask."

"I know! I know they want to see me...I want to see them too, you have...no..idea..," Liv shook her head, biting her lip.
"I...I just can't come back yet," she sighed, "I will...just...not right now."
She knew this all must sound strange to Kiah, and that she wouldn't understand. Of course it was for the better that she didn't know what was really going on. What was everyone going to think when they finally found out...They were probably going to hate her. Would they disown her? She knew they could never look at her the same again...

"You're not making any sense, Liv. Obvously I wouldn't have any idea unless you told me, but since you're going to be like this I wouldn't expect you to." Kiah knew that she wasn't really being fair, but she was still angry that Liv wouldn't go see her friends. She'd probably tell Lavi or Sil... She put her menu up to hide the sad look on her face, trying to decide if she even wanted anything anymore.

"Whatever you say, Liv..." Kiah winced a bit the sound of her smacking herself in the face, but didn't say anything and simply gazed sadly at her menu.
