"No, I mean... I don't need two people supporting me. I'm not that handicapped." He faked a small laugh and brought the arm around Sil's shoulders back to his side when they'd stepped out into the hallway, repressing a scowl as he wished people would be a bit less observant. "At last... freedom!" He gasped dramatically as if he'd been unable to breath in there and raised his hands in the air victoriously, the large book still clutched in one.

"What do you mean, help heal it up?" He turned back to look at Mizaka, eyebrows knotted. He lifted his bandaged leg and set it back down a couple of times for show, knowing already moving and walking on it didn't really hurt. "It seems fine, actually... I don't know why I was kept in there for so long."

A nervous laugh came out of her lips at the comment Mizaka made, and though she made no move to change the arrangement she couldn't help but feel the heavy weight of disappointment when he took initiative and removed it. She quickly reclaimed her arm from around his side and stuffed it into the pocket of her trousers hoping it would make the gesture feel a little less personal. "Oh, another friend?" She tried to put a light tone to her voice, a little annoyed with the hollow feeling that had settled in her. "Hopefully she's got around with little trouble... I know we're all a little on edge right now, so unfamiliar faces probably aren't too welcome..."

Lavi's exclamation made her smile at least, "You might be free, but I'm the one that will get in trouble if we don't make sure your wounds heal properly... We need to get you somewhere to sit down at least." The note about healing piqued her interest, but she assumed that Mizaka's friend was simply someone well versed in different medicines, like Bookman and his acupuncture.

((How was work anyway xD? I think I forgot to say welcome home too... wtf... I'm stupid tonight apparently.))

"When I came back from Headquarters, I brought back a good friend of mine who specializes in Healing Magic. We didn't get much trouble when we got here. I'm a familiar face by now, so as long as she's with me, she'll probably be safe." Mizaka led them to her room and stood in front of the door. "Even if you're feeling better, you should at least let her take a look at it." She knocked on the door. No answer. "Hey. Franzie."  She knocked again, only louder this time. A muffled noise came from behind the door. "C'mon. You can't sleep all day. There are people out here waiting for you." 

"Nnnn...five more minutes..." At this, Mizaka lost her temper. She began banging at the door.

"YO, EYEPATCH! YOU GONNA GET UP, OR DO I HAVE TO THROW A BUCKET OF COLD WATER ON YOU?!" The sound of someone groaning and getting up from their squeaky bed was heard. The door opened up to reveal a young blonde woman standing in the room. The right side of her face was pale and had nice features, while the left side was deeply scarred. A black eyepatch covered her left eye. She rubbed her remaining eye before glaring at Mizaka.

"Geez, show a little curtesy. I haven't slept in days..." She looked over and saw Sil and Lavi. She jumped, then bowed so low her body was in a perfect 90 degrees angle. "P-p-pleased to meet you, I'm F-F-Franzie..."

"Right, thanks for getting me out of there." He shifted his weight back to his good, right leg. "I was trying to persuade her all day, but it was like talking to a wall... But not a lot of people can stand up to that perfect combination of Italian passion and American stubbornness." A small smile tugged at his lips.

Lavi frowned as they followed Mizaka to her room, limping a little as he tried not to put too much weight on his left leg, not sure he wanted anything to do with any kind of Magic. He'd always been rather apprehensive of it, and what he had just learned about Sil and Eira hadn't helped. He said nothing, though, as they waited in front of her door. He'd see what this friend of hers had to say, and if he didn't like it, he would just turn around and leave. He jumped a little when Mizaka started yelling, a confused look on his face, thinking she was talking to him, at first. When he realized she wasn't, he glanced at Sil and shrugged a little with an 'I don't know' face.

When the woman opened the door, he wasn't too shocked at her appearance, although he hadn't been expecting it. He'd seen a lot worse in his life, things like that didn't even phase him anymore, although seeing the scars on his own arms had bothered him a bit. Raising an eyebrow at her flustered response to them, he waved a bit, despite the fact that she wouldn't see it bowing like that. "Hi... I'm Lavi."

(( John: He's a pretty funny kid. : P It's just a bit annoying when he calls your name every five seconds because he wants to find the heartless in the Coliseum.

Sil: I was pretty proud of him when he picked that one. I probably should have focused more so he wouldn't get bored and leave, but I spent a lot of time with him this evening already...
