Mizaka had walked up to the infirmary's door and opened it slightly. Peering inside, she could hear Sil talking to the Head Nurse. Without making a sound, Mizaka listened to their conversation.
Wow, you really need to persuade that woman to let someone leave this room, Mizaka thought to herself as she listened to Sil's reasons for letting Lavi go. When the nurse said nothing, Mizaka had the sudden urge to burst into the infirmary and say, Orrrrr, we could just let my friend heal him and be done with it! But she controlled herself and continued on listening while biting her lower lip.

((Sil: LOL while I was reading that I glanced at your avi and the monocle and mustache just... >_>; It was hard not to imagine Sil bitching to the Head Nurse with a monocle and mustache on her face xD))
Lavi had been keeping up with the glaring for a while, determined to annoy the Head Nurse into complying, when Sil's sudden entrance broke his concentration. He smiled at her, thinking she could distract him for a while and get his mind off of how crazy he was going, but she just stormed right past him. He watched her march up to the object of his earlier annoyance and stared in surprise as she cut straight to the chase. He hadn't expected her to try and push his discharge, thinking she had wanted him to fully heal, although she had expressed her displeasure at how long it was taking a few days earlier. A smile crept on his face as he listened to her reason his freedom. If the Nurse refused to let him go now, she was just being unfair. There were legitimate medical reasons for letting him go, after all. According to Sil, at least.
When she had finished, he looked at the Nurse expectantly, his face falling a little when she showed no apparant emotion. Then she sighed and moved around Sil to stand by his bed, hands on her hips and a very stern expression on her face. The way she was hovering over him was a little intimidating. "You will not aggravate your leg more than is necessary. Rest it as much as possible and if I catch you doing anything more than walking, I will drag you back here myself by both your ears!"
"Yes, ma'am..." He smiled a little nervously, saluting her. It took a lot of restraint not to jump out of bed and skip his way out of there, opting instead for gingerly placing his legs on the floor and standing up slowly, feeling the Nurse her eyes boring into the back of his head. Sil's book the only thing he had with him, he quickly grabbed that from the bedside table and grinned over at his saviour, nudging his head over at the door. He noticed Mizaka standing there and gave her a wave with his free hand.

"Yay!" Sil clapped her hands together in glee, as if she hadn't come in the room with such a stern look on her face before. It had split into a pleased smile, though she tried to look a lot less pleased as the Nurse shot her another glance that made her think she might find a reason to make her come back to the infirmary. She straightened her back and moved out of the way, easing herself with a careful sidestep over to help Lavi with anything that he needed.
"We can hobble out together," Sil smiled, offering him a shoulder to put his arm around to help bear some of his weight even though she couldn't take much extra herself. It didn't matter, though. She wasn't honestly in danger of not being discharged and she would rather be helpful to him. The head movement did divert her attention, however, and she waved over at Mizaka as well. "Hey there! The coast is clear, the health-monster has been sated," she winced a little as the head nurse glanced over at her with fire in her gaze, shrinking down a little bit. "I mean... the most beautiful and gracious woman I know has so kindly released Lavi."

Mizaka smiled when she saw the nurse had given in to Sil's persistence and watched as Lavi slowly got up. She waved back at him before stepping towards his bed.
"What's up, Red? Need any help getting to your freedom? She sweated a little when the Head Nurse glared at Sil's comment. "Smooth..."

Lavi barked out a laugh at Sil's little slip, but quickly covered his mouth to muffle the rest of it, glancing back at the Head Nurse, who hadn't been so amused. He flashed her a toothy smile, which she replied to with some more narrowing of the eyes. He'd put an arm around Sil's shoulders, not really needing the support and only very slightly leaning onto her to make it look like he did, but really just wanting the closeness. He hoped they'd have a chance to be alone again sometime soon, having severely missed this kind of closeness while he'd been incarcerated.
"Nah, I'm good." He grinned at Mizaka, hobbling along with Sil to the door.

((I hate that! Its the same way here with rain.... actually what I hated more was when I lived in the mountains with snow and the Californians would go blowing through the mountains going over the speed limit with snow out. Dumbasses. ))
"I'm slick like oil," she returned with a sheepish smile at Mizaka's comment, and though she wanted to make a hand gesture to indicate her smoothness, her one unbound arm went to 'balancing' Lavi with her arm draped along his back, gripping gently into his opposing side. "Lets get the hell out of here, pronto," she urged, heading towards the door while gesturing at Mizaka to head out too. They didn't need to incur her wrath any further. "No Jack today?"

"Really now?" Mizaka smirked at Lavi as he leaned against Sil. "Guess you're leaning against her just to get close to her." She walked up ahead and opened the door for them. "He's here, but he's a bit busy giving one of our friends a detour around the Order." Mizaka glanced at Lavi's leg, then back to his face. "Now tell me how your leg really feels. I brought back a friend who could help heal it up for you."
