iBarty For those that took Joasis' number down, it's the wrong one. I ended up talking to some idiot unless Jo was playing a joke but...the person clearly didn't know me. sweatdrop I think he may've been joking. xd While I haven't called him, it's the number he gave me a couple weeks back on AIM.

Kinetic Dream 3.14 Why must AMC regs do things to make me angry. Seriously. Spamming a topic up to six pages? Why would they think that is okay when they have already slammed the OP for -spamming-.Obviously the rules don't apply to them. ... stare On a related note, I realize that Versus threads aren't allowed in the A/M/C, but what about comparing/evaluating shows, I mean in terms of art, character development and such, not just 'lol, dis 1's butter'? I just ask because I know some people are a lot more familiar with A/M/C regulations. Edit: Taking personal opinions into account of course, I know it's impossible to avoid those. sweatdrop I generally move them because they aren't well done. So long as you can bring forth good points and put some forth that is discussable rather than just giving an info dump on why two shows are similar/different, then I have no problem with it being in the A/M/C.

iBarty Skizzors iBarty Is it wrong for me to like the taboo animes? I mean..I think it's just kind of neat to see things you wouldn't normally see being talked about on TV and such. I don't know. But the thread I started will definitely give me ideas of some anime to check out. whee ..well, I like those shows because they portray incestuous relationships as like any other relationship, which I think is a wonderful thing. whee So on the "ew weird" scale, you'll get a LOT less people on your a** than I will.. >>; Yeah..though there's usually some sort of struggle feeling wise for the character(s) which makes it interesting. However, why do you say that I'll get a lot less people like that? You just said it like you watch them because they're an interesting subject, which people can understand.. but I (unless I misunderstood and you feel this way too, in which case yay) actually think that there's nothing wrong with incest at all, and almost no one agrees with that. I would watch a series with incest in it as any other romance series, with an interesting gimmick.. Love*Com has height, Hoshi no Koe has distance, Koi Kaze has blood relations. It's still love~

I would watch a series with incest in it as any other romance series, with an interesting gimmick.. Love*Com has height, Hoshi no Koe has distance, Koi Kaze has blood relations. It's still love~ Well, that's where I'm unsure..I don't know if I really support it or not because you can't really say you only support it if it were gay/lesbian incest while you don't support straight because they get pregnant. People don't understand... But I have a reason for it mostly being that way (it's gotten better over the years though) though, because I had a bad experience with this (not experiencing the incest just to clear that away).
I agree that love it love, I will say that... But not when there's this twenty nine year old guy (at the time he was that age), having sex with his just turned thirteen year old daughter, and then his nine year old. He's one of those he won't do anything unless the other person starts..well, I guess his oldest daughter did and then the youngest saw them at one point and tried uh..mounting him in his sleep and etauhputh;a. ******** just really disturbs me and makes me sad. This was some guy from online too..telling me all this. And that's why I hate to be such a good listener sometimes. And..what's worse is that he got the both possibly pregnant. *sighs* I just..ugh. That's always going to be one of those things you wish you could forget but can't.
Though, I suppose I can't really judge him..there's things about me that people would be disgusted over if they found out what happened. But I don't plan on telling anyone about it (only actually ever told two people that I felt I could really trust) so...unless they're psychic or can read people's thoughts, no one will know.

That's.. wrong. I feel that that's wrong. At that age (13, not 9) you're JUST getting a sense of what you do, with who, and why -- and it's unlikely that she really understood the full context of the situation, and.. mrr.
It's an extreme. I'll leave it at that. It's an extreme that has no reflection on my overall belief concerning the matter: incestuous relationships are perfectly fine, gay OR straight, as long as there is mutual consent, and no attempts to have biological children are made.
Simple as that~ I don't see why people who could genetically transmit something like AIDS, or who are sterile, or simply don't want kids, shouldn't be allowed to date or have sex, so I don't see why siblings shouldn't either. Because, if they have kids, they might come out weird? So what? Adoption, artificial insemination, maybe they don't even want kids..

Bah. I'm not even sure how to word it. This subject is just one of those weird taboo ones. I don't know..haha. I'll probably just leave it at that. This is going to be an interesting convo for some to come across.

I mean, considering that experience I had with it that made me think badly of it... I end up liking it to an extent. Bart is messed up in the head. I don't know..but with the anime for it, it always seems to end up cute in some way (minus the hentai..though, I still do want to find a DVD of the one VHS I had). sweatdrop

I try not to let extreme examples like that affect my feelings about the whole issue. Whether or not it's okay is a case-by-case basis for.. well, for anything, right? And especially where people are concerned, sometimes there's going to be a blurry line. But overall -- overall it doesn't hurt anyone, and I think it's sad that there's such a stigma on it.

3.14 Who is going to by my Gaia valentine? emo I say we get rid of valentines day. Let's reinvent it and make it about giant robots. Oh, and incorporate pancakes somehow into the whole thing.
