Streamjumper ERA718 On a side note, I could of died yesterday when we had a leak down here. My mess under the bed stopped the water from reaching my comp and saved me from being electrocuted. I almost got in a horrible accident on the highway on the way to work today. The mixture of slush and rain was ******** with a lot of drainage and I found out about a few extra-large puddles (borderline mild flooding... at least 6 inches deep and more than 20 feet across covering about 70% or so of my lane) at a really bad moment. I was a decent distance behind this jackass in an SUV who hadn't cleared off the top of their vehicle, just the windows and hood, and the ice/snow crust on the top flipped up into the air suddenly. I braced for it since it was coming for my windshield and I knew it'd cut off my visibility for a second or two... and hit the brakes a little. right at the point where I couldn't see anything in front of me the SUV plowed through the puddle, sending some water into the air to complicate things. It turns out that the slowing down probably kept me out of the hospital since I almost lost control when the puddle grabbed the driver's side tires and almost sent me into a spin into the guard rail and then at the trailer behind and to the left of me. Goddamn, but that s**t sucked. Situations like these make me glad I live on campus, I've had so many near misses because people down here refuse to acknowledge that driving in the snow/rain is different than driving in favorable conditions. Still, at least nothing bad happened to you from the sound of it, aside from getting shaken up.

Streamjumper Cynder people, drive, learn, etc. The problem had nothing to do with anyone's driving skill and everything to do with them being a lazy ******** with no interest in the danger presented by not taking the extra few minutes to clear off the top of their SUV. I consider keeping your vehicle from being a road hazard through cleaning or other minor maintenance a driving skill. evil

So..does anyone in here think the White Drome Eggs will do well the further it gets along in the evolving stages? I'm trying to wait to sell the extras I have because I know the price goes up steadily if anything.

Why would they think that is okay when they have already slammed the OP for -spamming-.Obviously the rules don't apply to them. ... stare On a related note, I realize that Versus threads aren't allowed in the A/M/C, but what about comparing/evaluating shows, I mean in terms of art, character development and such, not just 'lol, dis 1's butter'? I just ask because I know some people are a lot more familiar with A/M/C regulations. Edit: Taking personal opinions into account of course, I know it's impossible to avoid those. sweatdrop

Drome eggs should go up some next evolution. They didn't move on the last one since the evolution was just a crack in the shell. The hermes moon, as I recall, didn't go up too much during its first evolution because it was the same thing; just a crack... sweatdrop
I hope they go up. I have 17 to dump. I hope frostbites start moving in a couple months too...I've got 86 or so to dump.

Ooo! Also, I made a topic in the AMC.. I doubt it'll last long, but it's about taboo anime. I wouldn't be surprised though if it took a short amount of time to have someone say "ewwww" about something even though I said not to.

Is it wrong for me to like the taboo animes? I mean..I think it's just kind of neat to see things you wouldn't normally see being talked about on TV and such. I don't know. But the thread I started will definitely give me ideas of some anime to check out. whee
