Omki mutteredn, but smiled and went a long with it. " I'm only leting you help me cuz I like ya!" HE said with a fliting smile and wink. Omki kisses her cheek and leaned on her.

Tokeru circled around the unmarked high rise.

"This must be the place." He landed on a neighbouring building and set himself up to watch the security.

Well....isn't this lovley? she thought to herself as she sat a-top the bulding inwhich she lived. Her psyche had taken a hit recently, her mind had run a-muck with certain ideals that were foreign to her general thought pattern. After an encounter with a rather rude human last night, her general feeding of their energy was disrupted by a rather unusual jolt from someone else. She didn't take the time to slowly withdraw from the mind of her victim, instead, she brought them more pain and quickly withdrew. She was still at a loss as to find out how and why it had occured.So, as she watched the flood waters below, she wondered if she'd ever see the result of that jolt. A sudden shift in her being was never good for her surrounding company, so she attempted to spare those she lived with. She slowly ran her hand through her long hair and sighed again. Slumping into a chair she continued thinking I figured it was a bad move to come here....I knew there had to be a problem with it, but no....I never check out things before I plunge. Ha, plunge...I should plunge into that water...but it's filthy. She laughed to herself as she looked out across the night sky, her hand lightly outlining the shape of her eye. She was getting rather thristy and decided that water sounded nice. So, she went down the first flight of stairs to the vending machine and bought a water, then, she returned to the roof. The roof seemed to be a good place to be alone at midnight.

Tears were running from the corners of her eyes. But when a white feather fell on her chest, they stopped. "Tokeru...?"

Tokeru watched the building. It was completly and utterly guarded. There were no holes anywhere in the defenses.

"I don't care how well this place is defended. It will fall if a rocket slams into it. Unfortunatly, i don't have one. I wonder where bridget went. Maybe she could get me one."

He took off, noticing Riona in the water. He flew down to the boat and said.

"You look sad. Why is that?"

"Oh yeah. I'd heard about that. I'm glad i wasn't here yet. Or else I may have done the same thing with the chip. My actions may have been worse. Oh well. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future's not your to see. Que sera, sera.

I kinda heard that song too many times. Don't beat yourself up about it. You weren't there, there was nothing you could have done. Would you like to help me get revenge on the vampire that gave me the chip?"

Riona thought over his words and nodded. "I... suppose you may be right. But if this leaks to the Elders... There will be blood shed and a great war will start. I don't want that." She looked at him. "Revenge on a vampire? Sounds good. Revenge on the person that put the chip in you? Sounds great. Revenge ont eh vampire that put the chip in you? Sounds excellent." Riona dove into the water and came back up. "Where to?"
