lovelyboredom I like being grown up. Most days. Some days it's really really really stupid. Take money for instance. Money, blah.
The girl who lost $80 in her room is going into the business field.

Drive= Can't get a ride anywhere, parents won't take me, and my friends can't
Work= At least I could have some of my own money so parents don't have to keep giving me money they don't have
Community service= Not here. You gotta be 16 for 4/5 of the jobs, and the other 1/5 you only get to work for 40 min. I need another 26 hours to graduate high school
Shop= see above under "Work"
Money=...*lost three giftcards and 40$ in her room*

Ohh, that community service thing would be a problem.
Luckily my school doesn't require it to graduate.
As for money, I live off of birthday/Christmas/Chinese New Year money all year long. >>
Annnd I'm not allowed to get a job until I got to college.

Thankfully my highschool did institute the community service until after I graduated. Huzzah!

I try to live off the money I get at Christmas/Birthday/Easter, but they're kinda few and far between.

Andragoran I never got that whole "he needs to apply himself more" spiel. I always got the "he needs to give a damn, show up for class, shut the hell up and do the homework so I don't have to look at him for another year" speech. I don't know why that is. I always got the "He's to goddamn smart for his own good and needs to at least pretend like he's not better than everyone else and do the work he's to good to do" speech. It's a far bigger burden than people think.
