Lavi awoke with a jolt when he was touched, still a little on edge after everything, but he calmed himself down immediately when he found himself staring up at the familiar infirmary ceiling. He shifted upright a little, rubbing his eye groggily before peering through the darkness at the person who had woke him up, expecting Sil or a nurse to check on his leg, but he quickly identified the shape standing next to his bed and confusion spread across his face. "Liv...?" He stared at her for a long time, his mind not really catching up as fast as his eye, but then he smiled at her a little uncertainly and reached up to touch her cheek lightly to make sure she wasn't just a figment of his imagination. When his fingers didn't pass right through her, the uncertainty in his smile disappeared and it broadened, a pressing heaviness on his heart gone in a flash as she was apparently standing there, safe and sound. "Oh, thank God you're okay!" He laughed in relief and hugged her. He'd long forgiven her for choosing the Noah's side, this had been inevitable from the start, after all. She would always be one of his closest friends, no matter what, and he was as glad to see her alive as he had been with Sil a few days earlier. He held onto the hug tightly as he whispered into her curls, trying not to wake up any of the other bedridden people in the infirmary. "We were so worried... we didn't know if they'd found out about what you did... if you were hurt." He hoped with all his heart this wasn't just some cruel dream, although he did wonder how she'd gotten in there without being detected.

Liv smiled a little at the soft touch to her cheek, and the warm embrace of his hug made her heart burn. She squeezed him tightly, so glad to see him mostly okay after everything. She knew this could be the last time she'd see him, at least in that way, and she didn't let go for a long time, keeping her hold tight.
"No...I..they didn't find out, they didn't hurt me. It's okay," she assured him, though she knew very well it wasn't, "Is Sil okay..?"
Liv pulled back finally, keeping her smile strong, though her heart was faltering. The churning was dying to break through from the depths where she had it contained, and her hand twitched slightly. She stretched it, tightening it to a fist and then un-tightening, wiggling her fingers nervously. Was this something she would get used to? Would it go away with time? She wondered if any of the others felt the strange phenomenon when they were around their natural enemies. Liv hadn't even thought about that until that moment, where she was sitting at the edge of Lavi's bed. Natural...enemies...

I did dance in the rain a little bit... the "I'mreallydamncoldandwet" dance. c:! I hope you feel better soon though, being sick is never fun.

Lavi's smile would not falter as they broke the embrace and however hard he tried he couldn't get rid of it, even despite the fact that she had said they hadn't found out, which meant that they always still could and that worried him. But he took her word for it. "Sil's doing great..." His eye softened and his ever-lasting smile turned grateful and he had to fight the urge to hug her again. "Thank you so much, again, for that... I don't even know what would have happened if you hadn't..." He shook his head a little and looked down at his hands, being quite sure she would have been dead by now.

Liv swallowed hard again and took Lavi's hands in hers, "Don't say anything more...please. I'm really glad you're both okay...but I can't stay. I came back to check on you, and to get my Compass back," she held one hand out, keeping the other tight around his. Liv's hand shook and twitched a little, and she prayed for Lavi to hurry and hand her the Compass.

I just realised, that is the only thing she can be doing right now. : | )) I was FORCED to take nyquil last night!! Normally nyquil is VOMITGROSSOMG, but this time since I had no sense of taassttee it was fantastic and let me sleep =u=;;; Kiah's need to be going out for a late night snack ;D ahaha
