"Yeah, but then would you have been around to do the investigation with?" He raised an eyebrow at her. She had said they'd gotten all the information they needed out of her, and if he hadn't found Luci to lead him to where she was, it might have even been too late once he'd found her on his own. He really couldn't feel bad for any of it. "Anyway, Liv brought me there while I was still sedated... I had no idea what was going on." He lowered his voice so no one could overhear the conversation. "She gave me this," a pat on the compass under his shirt, "and told me to find you. But really, if they weren't overdosing me on sedation I would've gone look for you anyway... I think that's why they were overdosing me on sedation." A small frown appeared on his face and he looked down at his hands for a bit before smiling up at her, voice still a whisper. "Y'know, you should really just get used to me doing stupid stuff like that, because I'm not letting you go that easily..." At least, not until he had to...

Well, not right now, cause I'm fricking tired and Tim told me he doesn't want me awake when he gets home (that's what she said), but sometime probably tomorrow, we should discuss your prospective character further. After that...well I don't see why you can't jump in on the action in here.
And whenever we get stuff for the HS RP fully setup, we can start having people signup and send in their character profiles. ))

She chewed her bottom lip a little at the question, knowing that he had a legitimate point. Part of her didn't want to admit how close she had come to death. "I just... I hate the idea that I could get you hurt, Lavi..." she whispered into her knees. "I know I would do the same thing, though... It would be hypocritical of me to tell you to stop... I just... hope neither of us will ever be in a situation where we have to test that resolve again."
She unfolded her body, sliding her chair as close to the bed as she could get so they could talk more closely without being over heard. Her hand ghosted over one of his, tracing her fingers very gently over the scarring starting to form, and though she tried to make it look like more of a curious touch there was certainly feeling put into it. "I... I'm really worried about Liv," Sil said in a whisper. "No one has seen her since the incident, and I worry that the Noah have done something to her. I keep trying to think of ways to try and find her... get a hold of her... but I can't think of anything... What if her helping us... me..." she couldn't even finish the sentence.

"I know..." He grimaced, the hand she wasn't touching closing around the compass again. He'd tried not to think about it too much, but it'd been difficult not to imagine what might have happened to her, if they had discovered her betrayal. He was eternally grateful to Liv for giving him the chance to save Sil, but he'd feel terrible if something were to happen to her because of it. And to Luci! He paled a little and his stomach flipped when he thought of that, although he imagined the little girl was less likely to be found out than her mother. He sighed, the hand letting go of the compass and ruffling his hair in frustration. If only they had some way of knowing if she was okay. "This is why she should have been with us... we'd never hurt her, whatever happens..." He was grateful for Sil's touch, it was helping him calm down a little, and he pretended to be cold so he pulled up his blanket some more, covering their hands so they could interlock their fingers.
