LCLpuddle I am once again employed. xd I'll be back working at Frito-Lay part time starting next week. Poverty = averted. 4laugh ! I've asked one of my friends if they could pick up 2 applications for Kelseys for me. One as a rough draft in case you mess up somehow. (Spelling mistake you have to scribble out, write an answer in the wrong place somehow... etc.) And the other as a good copy. I'm hoping to get a job as either a dishboy, or perhaps even host. Although I'd say I'm more likely to get dishboy, since most of the time women are hostesses.

I assume that mostly involves just washing dishes, right? I did that for a while, once... it was at a hospital-type of place. Had to help assemble meals, wash dishes, etc. The pay wasn't great, and the hours were kind of suck, but the job wasn't bad.
Well, except for having to deal with sick old people.
I quit after two days. neutral

As for the job - eh, there was a lot of things about it I didn't like. Working back in the kitchen was fine, breakfast and dinner were delivered to the residents and all we had to do was assemble the trays and put them on carts... but for lunch, we had to go and help the people through the line to get what they wanted. Most of these people were elderly stroke victims, and it was very hard to understand/be understood.. and I simply couldn't make myself TALK REALLY LOUD AND ALSO LIKE THEY WERE IDIOTS, which seemed to be what was expected. It embarassed me, because I knew it embarassed them. Lame reason to quit a job, but eh.

My art teacher said I should sell some of my prints at the upcoming craft fair.
I'm not sure how I would price them, though. confused
