((I'M BACK! <3 Hello everyone~ I don't know who is still here.))
Sil couldn't help but return the rather broad smile, though the act of smiling hurt her slightly bruised jaw. She certainly was starting to feel better, though she was still weak from blood loss and many of her cuts and bruises would take some time to heal over properly. "My sense of time is a little skewed, but I think it's Tuesday," she shrugged, which she still hadn't remembered was a terribly painful thing to do with sutures over a stab wound, but she had at least gotten better at not grimacing. For a long moment she looked him over, and even though she still hadn't gotten a repaired pair of glasses she was pleased by how well he was starting to look. "How are you feeling today...? The nurse told me you had some pretty bad burns," the slightest frown tugged at her lips as she thought about what he had gone through to come after her.
The head nurse spotted Kiah by the two most common infirmary escapees and she let out an outraged cry. "Not again! You get out of here!" She called at Kiah, picking up the nearest broom as if she might sweep the poor girl out with it. (<3) "Miss Silvia, if you so much as think about getting out of that bed again, so help me I'll nail you to it!"
"Why can't you shoo me out," Sil complained, and the look that the nurse gave her could have peeled the wallpaper straight off the walls had there been any.

((Welcome back, Sil <3 Heh heh...brooms. ))
Mizaka grimaced a little when she heard the Head Nurse's shrieks. That woman was far more worse than Molly, the nurse back at the Soul Officer's Headquarters. When she was sure the nurse was gone, Mizaka quietly tiptoed to Sil's bed. She smiled at her friend before taking an empty chair.
"Hey. Feeling better today?"

"Tuesday, hm...?" He rubbed the back of his neck with an awkward smile. "Guess I was out for a bit then, yeah..." He reached for the glass of water on his bedside table, feeling a little parched. He watched her look him over as he drank it, shooting her another smile as he set the empty glass back on the table once he was finished. He didn't want her to worry about him, or find some way to blame herself for it. "I'm fine, it doesn't hurt much. I've been told there'll be some scarring, but that's okay... Might as well have something to show for it." The smile faltered a little as he imagined what those scars were going to look like, but he quickly shrugged it off nonchalantly.
He was about to ask her how she was feeling when Kiah's hiding place was discovered by the Head Nurse and she was quickly shooed out with a broom. He raised an eyebrow at Sil as she was warned, waiting for the Head Nurse to calm down again before laughing a little, even though he didn't really like the idea of her walking around while she was supposed to be healing, although he wasn't really one to talk. "Had a little walkabout?" He asked her, the eyebrow still quirked. When Mizaka joined them, he smiled at her and gave her a little wave.

She went silent for a long moment, studying his face when he spoke. On the occasion she could catch a tell when he was speaking and not being entirely honest, but he was so well versed in putting up a mask that even after years it was very rare for her to catch it. The slight falter she caught, and she pursed her lips for a moment, mussing her fingers through her messy curls. "Scars make us all unique. You'll just go from regular handsome to roguishly handsome," a winsome smile played on her lips, her tone deepening on the end words.
When Lavi asked the question, a sheepish smile came over her features and she settled back a little in bed. Tannie, who had been resting on her pillow after being dislodged from her curls, fluttered up in a flurry when the back came to rest on her. If golems could pout she was certainly doing so. "I had to. It was kind of... a life or death situation... and I don't regret it. I managed to get a hold of Cross, which is an utter relief. I was afraid I'd gotten him, and possibly a friend of ours, killed," her voice went far graver then, whatever playfulness she had regained simmering down into a concerned crescendo.
As Mizaka walked up, however, she smiled a little more. "I'm feeling okay. As much as I hate to admit it, the old bat might be right. I probably shouldn't be up and about... I just hate being trapped in here all the time. Did you guys handle the little incident last night?"

Mizaka looked at Tannie with curiosity.
"That's a golem, right? It looks nothing like the ones back home..." She focused her gaze on Sil when she had started talking to her.
"Incident? Ah, you mean the fire... Yes, we've handled it without much trouble. Though I'm still bothered by the fact that someone had decided to set the room on fire. Just what were they looking for, anyway...?" Mizaka trailed off as her mind wandered into thought. She suddenly looked back at Sil with a serious expression on her face.
"Sil, if you don't mind, I would like to ask a few questions..."

He laughed. "Well, that's good, then. Although I wish they were more of the cut scar variety than the burn scar. They're slightly less visible." He hadn't really been extremely worried about the scars, who cared if he'd be left with pink and red blotches on his arms and leg, but he had never really had a lot of physical evidence left over from his numerous fights before. He rubbed one bandaged arm a little, wondering how long before they would take it off and he could see what the final damage was.
The reason for her escape from the infirmary was news to him. He had briefly overheard a conversation between some nurses about how Cross had disappeared, but he hadn't thought that he had been in some kind of danger. He could have known, of course, because he could imagine what it would take for him to not go after Sil when she had been taken. He nodded a little, bringing his knees up and folding his arms around them. "Glad to hear he's okay, then..." He tilted his head slightly, wanting to ask more but knowing it was probably secret things she could not share, as things with Cross usually were.
Then some more news. "Fire?" He looked from Sil to Mizaka and back, eyebrows knotted. "There was a fire?"

She smiled a little at Mizaka. "My General isn't exactly... orthodox. He makes golems, amongst other things," she responded to the golem question, holding her uninjured arm up to give Tannie a little rub along the lower part of her silvery body. The golem was still angry, however, and snubbed her affections with an insulted shutter. "Her name is Tantina. She's a newer prototype. Admittedly I don't even know all of the things she does."
Sil said nothing more about the fire; Mizaka seemed to know more about it than she did and she hoped Lavi's questioning would draw more facts out of her. By the time she had been trying to get to the fire to help put it out the Order nurses had caught up with her and she hadn't even seen it. However, she did tilt her head slightly at Mizaka's questioning. "Shoot, I'm an open book.... Sort of."
