crzycziri themightyjello crzycziri All characters are overpowered ALL CHARACTERS ARE OVERPOWERED. I knew you were specifically going to go for the "all" in that post. Yeah, I was, which is why you put it there. Many are, but many aren't. Just because the ones that are get all the attention (being complained about, bragged about, and usually ending up being a person's username chara because they just like that one to be their 'best' one) doesn't mean that there aren't plenty out there that... y'know... work. Then again, gamebreaking is the term of choice. If you're RPing on Mount Olympus, then by all means be a god. If you're sitting in a bar having a smoke... well... you get where I'm going with that. Typhoon_Omi If all characters are overpowered, than truely, none are overpowered - and everyone should stop their bitchin'. domokun *raises a hand* Mine are underpowered. I tend to make them that way specifically... Toastbusters It's the basic Kid With a Stick VS. Thunder-God scenario. I wish I had a link to 'racist cracker Farmer John vs the demon lord hideout'. Guy busts in and starts whupping a** and taking names, and all the demons are like: "we surrndr to ur ptchfork wheel-ding mite!" But he was a racist cracker, so I had a friend of mine cut his head off before we left the thread.

Characters without much bloating them are fun, by default. If played right. domokun
And, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2DPGFWT_Zc
Just beautiful. I mean, Hajime no Ippo had a great portrayal of it, but THAT right there, is the Dempsey Roll.
Honestly. After the first KO, that whole match was a long-winded rape. Willard even tried to clinch - but got the s**t haymakered out of him in response.

Reminds me of a character I almost entered into this.
Farmer with no powers who weilds every farm tool imaginable as a weapon somehow.
Not much real connection except the violent farmer.

I've a question for the other modly dudes. Were we going to start that 3-day thing the moment both fighters each post or are we being lenient? Cause if we're not going to play nice, I have work to do. >.>
Fish, would you prefer an orbital pwn cannon* to the face or have a star come down and sit in the arena? I've got a post typed up for Mindblaze, and can't decide which route to take, as one of the two would start this post.
*disclaimer: The cannon isn't actually a cannon, just a name for an attack which focuses the light of the sun

I'd say having a star come down would vaporize the earth.
But considering you just mean the equivelant in a nice travel size that won't liquidate at the least the entire arena, do whichever of the two you want. I'll probably end up coping more or less the same way.
Rules say, to my knowledge, that the 3-day thing begins as soon as each opponent posts once, unless the opponents agree to cut each other slack/a specific circumstance is given to the opponent/a mod. I'm not of the modly dudes however.
Meanwhile, Alchert's opponent hasn't even opened the PM I sent him about the match opening. crying

Star it is then! XD Need to name it though. >.> Mindblaze names EVERYTHING.
I think starting 9 pacific time I'll start closing matches, as if for some ungodly reason people might actually remember in the next two hours.

Yawn, I didn't want to completely detonate Gammu, but so be it. You made me nuke the arena. :O

I find it interesting that in the normal rps I'm in Gammu is over powered, but here people don't even give him second notice.
This should be amusing.

Idea- brag after you do it, not before.
Like Rivven said IC.
Assuming you know the opponent is much worse than being aware of ignorance.
Impact: Because the people here are overall playing many times more powerful than what we're used to, or the places I go where you are at least.
I've never used Rivven this powerful before. I plan to stick to his full limits of course, I don't push beyond that stuff, but I've never had a situation where it seemed like it would be in keeping with what's going on to step him up at all. No offense to Fischig's zealots. Great fighters, but not on the same level/type.

X, I have to commend you. You are giving me all I wanted for a fight for Quin.
The Judas squad was intended as nothing more then cannon fodder, I just gave them names because you know having names makes them last a few seconds longer.

I can't do anything with this knowledge IC Tac, but so I'll see it sometime tomorrow, as I'm about to post and go to sleep, is this star pretty much the heat Mindblaze has absorbed balled together up in the sky?
I'm trying to figure out if he's making himself a bomb or actually dragging something down.

For teh Fish: The effect in the sky is a very large orb, currently about 30ft in radius, of concentrated light and heat from the sun over a three mile area. He's building a pseudostar. From a point slightly higher up is the 'lens' where all light from that area is being drawn to and a beam of light and heat is falling from that point to the sphere. While the heat around Mindblaze is currently sitting at around 900 degrees F (I think), the star is MUCH hotter as its been condensing for about three posts over a much larger area. Right now its basically like a laser beam from an orbital cannon, and as its being contained in that star, the longer the "cannon" is linked to the "star," the stronger its going to get.
I'd name it the pwnstar if Drakie-poo didn't name something else that....
