  That's a nice thing to say, Live =)
But you see, I've seen this happening before to other people. You may not realize it because you haven't written in a roleplay before now.
In roleplays with a lot of characters, sometimes something happens. Because there's just so many people to interact with, people form friendship groups and unnaturally close relationships extremely quickly so they have something to latch onto in the story; before we're even into double figures with the pages, people have crushes, enemies, friendships, sidekicks. Occasionally, some characters get left out of this loop, whether it's because they're late arrivers or whether they just aren't "on the same wavelength" as most of the other characters. I think mine is a case of the latter.
In which case, the roleplayer controlling that person has three choices; they can do something outrageous to attract attention to themselves (like Sai fainting, hoping to lure someone into interacting; you may have noticed, but it didn't work. I didn't want to help his character 'cos I thought it might draw me away from the group even more), they can burst their way into someone's conversation (like just walking up to characters who are already deep in discussion and nonchalantly joining in) or they can slowly make less and less posts when they realize they aren't getting anywhere and eventually abandon the roleplay altogether with few people noticing.
Normally, I'd just go up to someone and force an interaction like most people do, but because I was SO STUPID and made Tasha, a girl who gets along better with pokemon than humans and lives the majority of her life away from society, I can't. Her character just wouldn't do that. I have to wait for everyone to come to me, which in another story might not be so unreasonable, but why on earth would anyone notice the weird girl at the edge of the group when they're already made reliable connections? I can't even say people would want to meet me by battling 'cos she's a photographer. You won't have a problem with all of this, you can just go and talk to someone, but I think I've kinda screwed this up.
Besides, my writing isn't what it used to be. I read over what I've wrote sometimes and it just doesn't sound good to me.
Bah. I don't know, it needs thought.
By the way, have I ever mentioned how much I like your Whaloh? xD

Well I guess I can see what you mean Sunny, but if you think about it we could work good together since my character has been in isolation for a while. A quiet shy girl could be a good interaction and friend for him. Think about it maybe?
Oh and yeah all the girls love my giant pink whale =P

Anyway, I thought Whaloh was purple? Purplish. I never much liked Wailords, but yours has made me want a huge purple whale too.
... Maybe I'm just far too easily influenced >.>
Anywho, you may be onto something there; I forgot about the whole isolation thing. I'll keep an eye on the story and see how it goes.
Most of all, if I do end up on the fringe, I don't want to keep Masaru there too D;
