I agree they nerfed personalities, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they took the personalities from everybody.

Nomad Rath Like I said, it's possible for people to interpret them as lovers, but they have no logical basis for their view. Simply that they talk with each other, and are closer with each other than other characters is not enough. Joshua, in FE9, yes, Elincia was his paring, but in FE10, that utterly changes. Ike shows no romanticisms with any character. Also, FD, Ike and Soren don't have a romantic ending. They just leave together, instead of Ike leaving by himself. There's nothing supporting them as lovers in that. *Also, I know we disagree here, FD, and it's best to avoid this subject so I'll just mention it once, that homosexuality is a choice. A choice that one cannot know unless the person outright tells you...or displays. To just assume that about somebody is completely irrational. Personally, I don't care if Ike is straight or gay, but he certainly isn't gay for Soren, nor does he have romantic feelings for any other person. I'd say there's just enough between Ike and Soren that pairing them as lovers isn't illogical. Their ending together might not be explicitly romantic, but when you consider the intimacy in some of the conversations Ike has had with Soren with the conversations he's had with other characters, openings to see more then friendship show up. And that's where the IkeXSoren believer can see the pairing as realistic. And I'll totally agree not to get into the nature of homosexuality in here. Lest this thread becomes ANOTHER Homosexuality thread in the Mature Debate forum. Nobody's going to change their perspective over a discussion over the Internet anyway.

They did sadly... and as to FD I agree on the fact that no one is going to suddenly switch sides... which also means I find IkeXSoren to be impossible. It just doesnt make sense haveing a conversation with some one close or running away from society together on a grand adventure isnt gay. Its friendship

...No, they didn't. They nerfed personalities and didn't display them all fluently, but they exist. They didn't include the scenes while at the base for nothing.

I like it! heart I must agree with Grey in a way from the many post ago. I think the games do show a lot of friendship, but with Soren running off with Ike, it's natural to think Soren may or may not have a romantic ideal for Ike. And by thm running off together it's plausable that after the game they really did just really love each other. Not saying they did or didn't, but heck, I love that couple. I want to believe the sparks were there since FE 9 but hey, that's my ideal. Could be right or wrong, it's not going to change any time soon...

Hmmm... Micaiah/Vika - No real basis here except for the brief base convo they had (even that is strictly friendship) but because I have a thing for yuri, this pair clicked in my head and won't let go. whee Eirika/Tana - If not for the thought of this pair I couldn't find myself liking Eirika at all. Marissa/Tana - heart I love their personalities and of course their support convo's! Tana is so persistent. =3 Though it's obviously a friendship thing (like most of these) I can easily see something else going on~ (that sounded dirty... cheese_whine ) Vanessa/Lute - Because Lute needs to annoy Vanessa for the rest of her life. rofl Lyn/Florina - C'mon. heart Heather/Nephenee - More on Heather's part, but yeah...pretty obvious, I suppose.
